Put Another Candle On Your Birthday Cake

 Hello there my crafty friends!   I started with a piece of white card and taped the Large Polka Dot stencil to it.  I used small smoothies and Distress inks to colour through the stencil in a diagonal manner.  The background uses Tumbled Glass,  Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized Amber, Spun Sugar and Shaded Lilac.  I  cut the Lattice Background out of white card and glued the Lattice die cut over the stencilled background.  I  cut a thin white frame using the Double Stitched Squares die set.  I cut a wide white strip and glued it diagonally across the back of the frame then added mounting foam to the back of the frame and attached it over the background.  I cut the birthday candles out of the same colours of Distress ink (ink white card, then cut candles) that were used on the stencil,  then glued them along the diagonal white strip of card and glittered the flames with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz.   I  cut the Put Another Candle sentiment out of wisteria card, shadowed it with a black die cut sentiment and glued it to the lower left corner of the card.  I completed the card with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 3/4"  x  7 3/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x
