Happy Birthday

Hello crafters!  I have another card made from scraps (I love it when I can use them up!)  I selected a piece of black card and covered it with a sticky adhesive sheet.  I selected pixied card that I had leftover that wasn't quite enough to use by itself on a card and cut them all into 1/2" strips.  I laid all the strips down, leaving a small gap between them rather than butting them up against each other.  Once I had finished all the strips, I used Black Onyx Glitter in all the in between areas for a bit of bling.  I used the largest balloon outermost cutting die and cut two apertures out of the background.  I added mounting foam to raise the piece and added a black backing piece to it.  I cut the outermost decorative die twice from the large balloon in white.  I recessed them down into the apertures, then used the original fall away piece and cut it with the large balloon die (minus the decorative edge) and added them back into the aperture.  I cut the Happy Birthday Candle die in both white and black, shadowed it and glued it to the top left.  I cut the Best Day Ever sentiment the same way and glued it to the lower right.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  9 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue.
Scraps, I'd like to hear from ANY crafter that doesn't have a single anything with scraps of cardstock in, pieces of gold lol. I have a bag next to my desk full to splitting with 'pieces of gold' 2 plastic storage boxes under my chair full, not forgetting the biggest storage box the Swedish shop sells..... full in the craft wardrobe in spare room lol more storage with bits than full packs of cardstock!! It won't go down like a salad bowl in Florida the more you eat the more it seems to fill up again!!!
As much as I love this inspiration would absolutely everyone that doesn't craft see these dies are balloons? I love it, so colourful, such a massive way to wish someone a Happy birthday.
Sending love to all pop in, stay warm, be safe and take care out there, it's treacherous out of the streets and roads xxx

Morning Sue,
I could make hundreds of not thousands of scrap based cards with my left overs and I only make cards for family and friends. So, why don't I? Because I don't have your creative brain!!
A brilliant card for all ages!

Good morning Sue and all.
Another master piece from the hands of the magician. A few weeks ago I binned a lot of my scraps (I;m too old now to save them all) I still have enough to make lots of rainbow cards and thank you very much for the inspiration,

Hi Sue
Happy Friday everyone x
What a brilliant ‘scrappy’ card. It’s so satisfying using up those pesky scraps, of which I have mountains. I can never bring myself to throw any of them away no matter how small they are, much to the amusement of my boys! Absolutely love the colours in this card and the black glitter really makes them pop beautifully x
Take care one and all x
Sending you all positive thoughts x
