Hi crafters! Today's card was a bit of an experiment, but I liked the way it turned out! I used Jamie Rodger's Glossy Glaze on the background. I used Daydream Yellow and Orange Flame Glossy Glazes to create the background. I applied the orange to the top of the card and the yellow glaze to the bottom of the card, then used a brush to blend the two together in the middle of the card. I set it aside to dry completely. I cut the Because sentiment from the Just Because die set in both white and black. I shadowed the sentiment then glued it to the top of the card. I cut out the rest of the sentiment from one of our Wordie sheets and added it with mounting foam. I cut one from from the Pierced Layered Flowers in white, added the outline in white and finished it with a black centre. I attached it under the sentiment and added a couple of leaves. I used the Bauble Branch cut in black and added it as an accent stretching down the card. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 8 1/2" in size. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, such amazing colouring with the glaze, this is something that I really struggle with, when I see someone doing it, I think I can do that, but las mine is a right mess, so have given up trying but I greatly admire this sample.

Hi Sue. Love that background colour but the best thing for me is the way you have used the dies. I know you try very hard to make sure that your Christmas dies can be used all year round and this card demonstrates that to perfection.

A beautiful card Sue especialy as I have also been experimenting with yello and orange with some nice and some terrible lol. I wish I had the gloss to use over them but hadn't at that time known about it. I will buy some soon if I don't forget I love the way they have turned out for you. Thank you for the inspiration.
