For You

Good Sunday morning all!  Here's a quick and easy card to make for any occasion.  I used Burnt Orange and Sun Yellow Pixie Powders on a piece of white gloss card.  I covered it with cling film and scrunched up the film and set it aside to dry.  I used the Sophia die and cut it in white.  I cut two Double Stitched Octagons frames and layered them then I cut an octagon in black and added it to the frames as a backing piece.  I used a small piece of the leftover pixied card and cut the For You sentiment out of it.  I shadowed it in black and added it to the shadow backing piece cut in white and glued it to the centre of the card.  I used the small border from the Butterfly Edger die set and cut two of them, then nipped them in half and glued them across the four corners as accents.  The card was added to a larger piece of white card and I glittered the edges of it with Iced Snow.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, another lovely colourful design with the pixie powders, black and white, it is one of those cards that you can batch make and leave the sentiment until you know which one to use.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Hi Sue. Love the design of this card, but I am not too sure about the use of the black card as a background for the sentiment, although, of course, it may look completely different in real life.

A marvelous pixied background. I was inspired by your posts to make a bunch last week. Most of mine are lacking compared to yours but one came out just as I wanted and I made a Christmas card using one of your new dies.
This card is lovely. A wonderful die and I do like the different corners using the border portions.
Everyone have a great September morning,
Stephanie K
