Just For You

Hello crafters!  I used the Stripes embossing folder on a piece of white card to add some texture to the background.  I had a bit of leftover pixied card from another card so I used it to cut out a frame from the Noble Vintage Labels.  It was created with Golden Mint and Teal Wash Pixie Powders.  I cut two more thinner frames with the same die set out of white card.  I seated the smaller frame inside of the pixied frame and hooked the larger white frame vertically around the ends of the pixied frame.  I used the Just For sentiment cut out of the pixied card and shadowed with a black die cut, then glued into the centre of the card.  I cut the Button Flower Floral Panel in both white and powder pink.  I nipped away two sections of the Button flower in the white and glued it across opposite corners of the frame, then added the pink flowers from the second die cut to it.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  8 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue.
I love the stripes folder, it's plain but has class.
The font of the expression die is beautiful I love using it whenever I can. The button flower panel is so pretty and dainty and so versatile I love how you used it on today's inspiration. I think I'd have used a different colour though, maybe something a little more delicate to match the button flower.
Seems its chicken pox season! And we have a spotty Lottie, she had two little surgeries last week, now off school again, when will it all end for them!!
Hope everyone on our lovely blog is well, stay safe, stay healthy and I send hugs to all xxx

that's just my opinion!

Hugs to your spotty family Steph, hope all are ok
otherwise.

Stay safe,

Hi Sue, a pretty card and I do love all the ways you are using the Button Flower Floral Panel, it is so versatile.

Steph - I'm sorry for Lottie and hope she does not feel too unwell. Although it was many years ago I still remember being smothered in Calomine lotion to stop me scratching.

this card is very achievable but still striking. I always love the Pixied pieces and I really like the embossing folder going horizontal.
Chicken pox....I didn't know it was still around. Itchy stuff. Hope it goes quickly.

Hi Sue. Love these noble vintage labels and by showing this card today you have demonstrated just how versatile they can be. It is almost like one of your buckle cards but it can be made on a smaller scale.
