Get Well Soon

Hello there my crafty friends!  How about a flowery get well card for today's offering?  I started by making a pixie powder background.  I used Straw Yellow, Golden Mint and Sun Yellow Pixie Powders.  Next I cut the Noble Vintage Labels in white.  I cut four of the larger size and four of the next size down.  I added a piece of clear acetate across the back of one of the smaller frames, then added mounting foam to raise it.  I seated it in the centre of the card, then added the larger frame around it with thinner mounting foam so it stairstepped downwards.  I cut the Get Well Soon sentiment in black and glued it across the acetate.  I nipped the other frames apart and added them to the corners.  I used the Cosmos Flower die set and made three different sized flowers.  I cut the solid base of the flowers with a piece of sticky adhesive sheet added to them, then cut the outlines.  I assembled the two pieces then glittered them with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz.  I used the foliage panel from the Moonflower Floral Panel die set and cut it in green twice.  I nipped the foliage apart and used it as an accent for the flowers.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8 1/4"  x  8 1/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue, a new week of inspiration to look forward to. I really like the design today, not sure about the background colour for a get well card, some may see what I see, some may not, maybe a nice shade of blue or pink, but this yellow goes with how my tummy feels this morning I'm afraid.
Looking forward to see tomorrow's inspiration. Stay safe keep well everyone xxx

Good Morning Sue. What a great pick me up this morning. This would cheer anyone up when a little under the weather. I was a little delicate myself this morning ... Self inflicted ... It was the wine last night that did it ... but it sure made me feel better after I had seen this lovely card. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today.
PLEASE STAY SAFE 🙏 🙏 🙏
Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds.

Good morning Sue,
A fabulous design to your card but not so keen on the background. Your beautiful Cosmos flowers add that hint of sparkle. Yvonne xx

Hi Sue. What a really lovely combination of white frames on top of a coloured background and I love the way you have stuck the sentiment onto a raised acetate piece to make it look as though it is floating within the frame.

I like the background colour a lot but find the actual design a bit too busy. Sorry! The flowers are, as always, gorgeous. X
