Hope Your Birthday Is Out Of This World

Hello crafters!  I began this card by embossing a piece of white card with the Twill Weave embossing folder.  Next I cut the Out Of This World die out of black card twice.  I found a piece of background card in my stash that I had made using Midnight Blue Pixie Powders, then I had stenciled stars on to it using the Flake and Glitter glue.  I removed the stencil then applied silver gilding flakes to it.  I cut a piece of it and used it for the backing to the die cut.  I mounted it on the diagonal, then nipped away the large star clusters from the second die cut.  I used a bit of left over background and added it to the stars.  I added them above and below the original die cut.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 3/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue, hope you got home safe and relaxed with new die designs on your sketch book lol.
This is a beautiful start to the week so vibrant and happy. Your sentiment dies are perfect to help us make quick and effective beautiful cards, I've just received the Happy/Merry Christmas die and its absolutely fantastic if you need really quick cards either batch or something classie, which is why it's always a great idea to spend a day doing A4 backgrounds ready for that last minute order or a belated wish for someone.
Hope all our friends here had/have a nice day whatever your plans especially our friends just out of a very long lockdown xxx

Good Morning Sue. Another lovely card today Sue. And I have to say my own birthday was exactly this "Out Of This World" with yet more to come ... So I am told. So looking forward to my afternoon tea in York next Sunday. Today's sample is what I would do as a man card using these co!ours. But I can also see this in lilacs and pinks for the ladies. Thankyou Sue.
Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today.
Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds

Hi Sue. What a great idea to add the main element to the card on the slant and to extend it by using some of the stars from the die. Thanks for sharing.

Happy Monday everyone x
Out of this world by name and out of this world by nature. I love this card. As you know I am all about anything Pixie and this is no exception. Midnight blue Pixie Powder is one of my favourite colours and that background is a perfect example of just how stunning it is. Love the silver star addition. Fab-yoo-less x
