To A Dear Friend

Hello there my crafty friends!  I started by taping the Basketweave Slimline Stencil to a piece of white card.  I used Clear Texture Paste through the mask.  While the mask was still in place, I sprinkled Beyond Blue Pixie Sparkles all over it.  I removed the mask and set it aside to dry thoroughly.  I used the Slimline Stitched Rectangle Frame and cut a white frame.  Using the Slimline Essential Frames, I cut a thin black frame and glued it to the white frame, then added mounting foam and attached it over the stenciled background.  I cut the Starflower Cluster out of both white and black and shadowed it.  I made a larger background for the entire frame to sit on and I used Beyond Blue Pixie Sparkles on a piece of clear acetate.  I mixed it with Clear Cosmic Lacquer then added a piece of white tissue paper and allowed it to dry.  I used a small leftover piece of it and cut the extra flowers for the Star Flower cluster and glued them under the die.  I added the die to the left of the frame.  I cut the To A Dear Friend sentiment twice in black, stacked them, then glued it to the right side of the frame.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.    The finished dimensions are    5 3/4"  x  10"   in size.
