Hi crafters! I just love this cheeky little sloth!! I started with a piece of Pixie Sparkled card from my stash. I had used
Beyond Blue Pixie Sparkles on it, then embossed it with the
Pebble Rush embossing folder. I used a
Black Soot Distress Oxide ink around the edges to frame it. I stamped the
Sloth and cut it out with the matching
Sloth die. I used
Distress Markers to colour the image (
vintage photo, tumbled Glass, antique linen and crushed olive) I added a piece of
white vellum behind the sloth then attached him to the centre of the background. I stamped the sentiment from the
Wild About You clear stamp set, then cut it out and mounted it in the lower corner. I used leaves from the
Tropical Flora die set in the corners as accents. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" in size. All for now. Sue x

Another gorgeous Sue and the Sloth card. I believe we all love the little guy with the cheeky smile.
The background is beautiful and the colours are outstanding. I think I will be using this sentiment on one of my Grand Children's cards this year.

Good Morning Sue. Awwwww he's/she's lovely. Every time I see this it makes me smile. No matter what background you use ... And boy the backgrounds you have sent us recently have been fabulous.
I don't know about anyone else ... But ... the only thing I am not happy about is the lovely animals name. I don't like the word Sloth it reminds me of something you clean the kitchen floor with ... Is it just me ... Funny how some words just don't fit right. Sorry for the ramble I must be getting like STEPH. LOL. No offence intended Stephanie. Just a bit of fun and banter.
