Happy Birthday
Hello crafters! I pulled out the Pearlescent watercolour inks for today's card. I started with a piece of white card and added Lime Sherbet and Cerulean Blue randomly all over the card. I spritzed it with a little water to get the colours flowing. I set it aside to dry thoroughly (overnight). Next I used the Rope Chain embossing folder and gave the piece some texture. For the focal element, I cut the Happy Big Bold Word die out of black card. I glued it to a piece of white card cut with the Double Stitched Rectangles and added a black mat. Using the leftover piece from my background, I cut the Happy die and used the pieces to paper piece back into the black die cut. I stamped the word Birthday in black and cut it out with the tags in the set. I added it with mounting foam to the lower right corner of the card. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 8 3/4" in size.

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh so pretty, I do like this one, the colours using the pearlescent inks really are striking and vibrant with the embossing it forms a brilliant backdrop to the 'Happy' die and the birthday stamp finishes it off to perfection, yes I like this one very much.
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
Morning Sue what a colourful happy easy sample you have for us, this kind of design is spot on for batch making all that's needed is a change of colour, half a dozen dry backgrounds and hey presto, it's a real warm feeling if you have birthday cards ready to give or send for the next few months a true sense of relief and achievement. Happy day everyone be happy keep caring xxx

Good Morning Sue and all.
A beautiful card with vibrant colours. One that could be used in batch-making using different colours. Not that I've ever done batch-making but I could always try.
Have a good weekend everyone

Hello Sue
I think you know by now I love my bold happy die there are so many ways to use it. I stamped a sports car in the middle of a white happy and used cogs as a background for my brother and made a cream and brown card with tiny flowers all around happy for a friend. Now I am going to try out some Christmas cards.Take care everyone x
Lovely card I’m a huge fan of the big bold series
Hopefully the people who haven’t claimed yet are away on holiday with no internet BUT I will always look after any orphans if you need an adoptive crafter๐คฃ

Hi Sue and everyone, firstly I dont often go for green cards but I absolutely love this background colour with the pearlescent inks its so fun and vibrant. The big bold dies do make a fab and easy statement piece for a card and the more I see your samples the more I feel the need to invest in these timeless word dies. A stunning card Sue. Ohh and I received my sentiment that I won from the Christmas launch today, so thank you again Sue.
