Hello Baby

Hello there my crafty friends!  It's time for another baby card!  I started this card by selecting a piece of decorative striped paper from my craft stash.  I cut a wide strip of it and taped it to the bottom of a piece of lilac card.  I used a white strip over the join area.  I cut the Hello Baby  from the Newborn Sentiment die set in white and glued it to the striped card.  Next, I cut two Double Stitched Squares in white and layered them, then attached them to the top of the card.  From the Noah's Ark set, I cut the ark in tan card and glued on slightly darker porthole rings.  I inked the ark with Vintage photo ink around the edges.  I cut seven different animals out of different shades of card from both the Zoo Animals and the Farm Animals set and glued them into place in the ark.  I added a couple of clouds cut from the Twinkle Twinkle Stars and Clouds die set sponged with Tumbled Glass ink to the background behind the ark, then glued the ark into place.  I added the Congratulations to the top of the ark cut in white.  Below the ark, I used the Stitched Hills and Clouds cut out of Aqua card and Duck Egg Blue to look like waves.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 3/4" in size.  All for now.
