Hello crafters! Here's another lovely and simple Christmas Angel card. I started with a piece of
Silver Sparkle Alcohol ink card. I used
Citrus and Patina alcohol inks all over it. Next I used the
Elemental Swirl stamp all over it and I dabbed the stamp with
Blending solution so it lifted the colour off as it stamped, leaving a light ghost-like appearance to the background. Next I cut the
2020 Christmas Angel in milk card and vellum. I added some highlights to the angel using distress inks for her hair and skintones. I cut the dress out of the vellum die cut and glued it to the angel. I cut the wings out of white card and glued them to her and added small pearls for accents. I added the angel to the background with mounting foam. Using
The Believe die/stamp combo set, I cut the Believe sentiment several times out of white card and stacked them. I glued it to the top of the card. I stamped the words to go with it and cut them out with the tag die in the set and mounted it below. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/4" x 8 1/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue. The background sounds interesting, I class myself as a 'background bore' as finances dont make room for pastes or inks etc I dont have the means or artistry to play or experiment and what pastes and waxes I do have are hard as rock!! I just love my pixie powders and cling film, my folders too so I'm a happy bunny. It's a lovely idea and i love the snowflake wings but Angels I'm afraid Sue I'm just not an angel lover unlike the rest of our blog family that collect your special ladies each year. Although this is Christmas with the sentiment you have used, what I like about it is that the wings are separate and the angel makes a beautiful evening dress or even wedding dress.
