Hi bloggers! I thought I would share this cute carousel card as it shows all the matching stamps for the animals too! I started by embossing a piece of white card with the
Zigzag Squares embossing folder. I extended the pattern since it lines up quite easily to make a larger piece. I stamped all of the carousel animals with the matching stamp set and cut them out with the matching dies. I used
Distress Markers to colour the zebra, horse and elephant. I went for pretty, bright colours and just highlighted the animals a touch with blue. I added the animals to the background with foam. I cut the sentiment a couple of times and nipped them into two parts. I stacked two of each segment and then glued them above and below the animals. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 8 3/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

Yet again- where on earth do you think of your ideas, I know you said the last time you popped 'into the uk screens' that these rides were really popular in the States with a selection of different animal's than we have here, but you always go that extra mile, you are a crafting perfectionist, your horse looks extremely regal like he has a dressage competition to get to lol. Hi Sue, I love the carousel animals, they are so individual and have such amazing detail. The horse looks so proud to be leading, the zebra is trying his best to catch up and the elephant is just happy to be on the merry-go-round. Lovely card that would bring a smile to anyone's face.

I love your carousel stamps and dies and just had to buy them because they will be loved by the younger members of our family.
However, my sister would love a card like this too, as she has actual horses. Great sentiment, useful for all ages.

I ordered this stamp/die combination and am anxiously waiting for them now. I had to have them both for the kids in our family and for the horse lovers. I already had the sentiment so of course needed these. My sister rides and we had horses growing up. Never had an elephant or zebra but I love all animals so they will be welcome to my collection.
