Happy Halloween crafters! I have no Halloween dies so no Halloween card, unfortunately, but how about this simple carousel card? I started by coating a piece of card with
Lavender Glitter Kiss and allowing it to dry thoroughly. I used the
Circular Stars 3D embossing folder on it once dry. I cut a diagonal corner off of it and added in piece of white card embossed with the same folder. Next I cut the
Carousel Base out of
Wisteria card and added a white flag. I stamped the
Carousel Horse stamp in black and cut it out with the matching
Carousel Animal die set. I used
Distress Markers to colour it, then glued it to the carousel base. I added the base with mounting foam. I cut the Enjoy The Ride sentiment in wisteria card from the
Carousel Animal die set and glued it to the upper part of the card. The card was completed with white and wisteria mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 8 1/2" in size. All for

I'd rather have this inspiration than a Halloween any day (unless you find a cute Halloween ghost or something) not a lover of this day to be honest, am I a sulky Steph? Give me a Sue sample every day and I'm happy, although unfortunately I wouldn't make the most of the carousel and animal collection I do love and enjoy seeing other cards they are so clever, it must really warm the cockles of your heart when you see projects made with love with the tools you provide. Hi Sue and everyone, I do love taking my grandchildren out on Halloween and where they used to live everyone goes crazy with decorations, its quite fabulous. I dont however make Halloween cards so prefer this inspiration. Steph you're so funny, but not a sulky Steph at all lol.
I've just had to draw a horse for an order so this would have been a fantastic die to have had.

Hi Sue, sorry for no comment yesterday but the card is lovely and the poinsettias with Stellar Ice on the vellum are stunning. Back to today, I love this card and the colours are beautiful. Love the carousel horse but then I love all the animals you create.

I like everything about this card it's lovely. My youngest granddaughter seems to be having a virtual Halloween her house inside is decorated and she has been sending us WhatsApp videos of tricking my daughter and we are having a virtual Halloween quiz tonight. We usually go to my other daughters tonight because it is my son-in-laws birthday and usually have a bonfire and fireworks but instead they are going to light the bonfire and video it.Take care everyone x

I would love some SW Halloween dies. I did make Halloween cards this year, a dozen for family and friends and enjoyed making them.
As a child, Halloween was always a fun time. We rang door bells for candy(everyone participated). One lady always made caramel popcorn balls wrapped in colored wax paper and my best friend's Mom invited us all in for hot cocoa & doughnuts to thaw out (I lived in IL then). Sometimes my Dad would help us carve a pumpkin and we always made some sort of art project at school.Halloween was not scary just fun and no, we didn't go home and watch creepy/slasher movies, etc. Just a fun event for children and sadly its mostly gone here now, at least where I live. Sorry to dither on.
Love the Carousel horse.I just received mine in the mail this week. My package sat in our main PO nearly a week right here in town...grrr! I would love to make this card...so pretty.
