Hi crafters! I just love the pop of colour around the Papillon Silhouette and it is such a quick and easy card too! I started with a piece of
white Yupo card and used a bunch of different alcohol inks on it. I used
Citrus, Sailboat Blue, Cool Peri, Flamingo and Indigo alcohol inks. I just dropped them on to the Yupo randomly and allowed them to mix a bit using a bit of blending solution on a felt dauber. I used the
Background Rectangles and cut an outer frame. I added foam mounting to it to raise it. Next I cut the
Papillon Silpuette out of white card. I used the centre cut out of the Yupo frame behind it and glued the
Papillon Silhouette to it. I added the frame over it. I cut the Papillon Silhouette once and nipped away the butterflies and added them to the original. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/4" x 8 1/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue. This looks like a background to get lost in if you get my meaning, one of those where you close your eyes grab a certain amount of colours and work with them regardless, a fun start to a project and if you have lot's of inks or stains you could make sheet after sheet of fun backgrounds, but I adore my Pixie powder techniques so I'll continue with those. A lovely happy start to a new week but to all our blog friends that have kept us going over the past few months.......

Good Morning Sue. Beautiful card this morning Sue. I love this die. I fell in love with and bought both this one and the Rose Lady at the launch. I have made some gorgeous cards with them too. I don't have the alcohol inks...but I have pixie powders and other things I can work with them. And everyone I have made has its own certain personality ....if that's the right word. Another thing about them is... they are for all age groups... From teenage to Eightys!! I love them so much so that I have ordered and waiting for their sister The Golden Girl. I can't wait for her to arrive.

Hi Sue, although these are not my most favoured of your dies I have to say that this card is my favourite of all those you have shown so far. Maybe it is the vibrancy of the colours that really brings the die to life that appeals to me; whatever, it is a lovely card.
