Hello crafters! Today's card was started by cutting the Tropical Background out of Khaki card. While it was still in the die, I inked through it with Forest Moss Distress Oxide ink to give the veins more detail. Next I used the Double Stitched Squares to cut a chunky white frame and added mounting foam to it and attached it over the background. I cut two of the Flamingos from the Tickled Pink die set out of raspberry pink card. I used a black sharpie on their beaks and added the side wings. I used mounting foam and attached them to the right of the frame opening. I cut a couple of leaves from the Tropical Flora die set, inked them and glued them in the lower corner. I cut the I'll Stand By You sentiment in both pink and black and shadowed it then glued it in the opposite corner. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/4" x 6 1/4" in size. All for now. Sue x

Hi Sue. What a really stunning card this is, the more I look at it the more I see that I like about it. Love the bright pink against the dark green and I love the relatively small aperture which allows for a wider frame on which to place the focal points of the flamingos and the sentiment, such a great design.
