Friendship

Hi crafters!  I was having a little play when I came up with pixie powders and clear micro beads to see what the result would be like.  I started with a piece of white card and used Lava Red and Burnt Orange Pixies on it.  When it was dry, I did a quick light burst of spray glue across it and sprinkled on some clear micro beads and let it dry.  You can see them in the close up pics.  It almost looks as if it has been salted, but I liked the interesting texture it gave so I decided to use it here.  I cut the backing shape out of it from the Friendship All In One set.   I cut the decorative die in white and attached it with glue, then added pearls to the flower centres.  Next I made a multi layered frame using the Double Stitched Rectangles and added acetate across the back then added mounting foam to raise it.  I glued the Friendship die to the top of the acetate.  I covered another piece of white card with a sticky adhesive sheet.  I peeled the backing off and put a large piece of mounting foam in the very centre, then added Iced Flake around it.  I attached the frame over the top so the mounting foam held the die shape up in the centre.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue. This is absolutely gorgeous. I'd love to be able to experiment like this with 'unkown' backgrounds but I'm afraid that it's not just a piece of card I've wasted its the other mediums like powders and micro beads and I can't always replace what I've lost - which is why it's so brilliant you try your ideas out and feedback to us, then you give us the most perfect saying which we all feel within the Particraft doors, we've all been a big group of supporting friends since the virus attacked our world, is this the wildlife at risk telling us to stop using them for medicinal and food purposes?
On that note ...

STAY SAFE AND KEEP CRAFTING ❤ xxx

A great card as usual. I didn't want to get out of bed this morning as I was so cosy, then I started to wonder what you had in store for us today and here I am. It is a great sentiment and very true. the background is beautiful and would lend itself to almost any sentiment.
Thank you Sue.

Morning Sue, - great colours, but a bit 'blingy' for me but there is always someone that likes bling lol....so will be having a go at this one. Love these dies for quick makes to add on the stash of backgrounds I have....

Morning Sue, you always manage to bring us some daily happiness with your wonderful cards and ideas and, I truly thank you for that.
Also, every now and then you add little reminders to all of us to use things in our stash that we've probably forgotten about; such as holding flakes but today it's our micro beads hiding deep down in our cupboards and drawers.
Lovely, apt, sentiment. Just wish I'd bought this die earlier but it's on my 'want' list.....Hugs xxx Pauline

Lovely background to set off your great die. I don’t tend to use orange very much but this is the second orange background of yours which I thought was lovely, so I must sort out some orange mediums. Thank you Sue.
