Cling Film Technique Card

Hi bloggers!  Here is a fun new technique that I came up with recently.  You might have seen the video a few weeks back about using the cling film with Lustre Polish.  This is a carry on from that, which uses the cling film from that technique to make another card and give it an exciting background.  Nothing wasted at all!

The finished dimensions are 7"  x
8 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Ohhh my goodness Sue I can't wait to watch this tutorial it looks amazing and your Cosmos flowers looking absolutely adorable as does the completed sample. I know we tell you over and over that you and crafting helps lift our spirits and health and importantly these days our mental health but this may be the one that gets my mojo back and helps me back into my little craft room, thank you Sue. To all popping in from round the country and globe, hope you are all keeping safe and staying away as best as you can from anything or anyone that can put you at risk. Sending love to all worried blog family 💖🌻

Lovely colours but I’m not a fan of ‘messy’ which the central piece looks to me. The rest of the card is really lovely.

Very informative video. I did not realize that on the second pull you left the cling wrap on. I only have 2 luster polishes and probably not colors to go together but I think I will try using the one blue I have and maybe adding a little purple texture paste. Now that I am "staying home" so much, I have time to experiment. I really love this card and I want to give it a try.
I hope everyone is staying safe. This has been one of the worst months for several reasons besides this horrible virus. This blog is a bright spot.

Well, after reviewing this video, now I know why my attempt at getting two prints from the cling film did not work. I did not remove the film from the first print until the next day. That means the Lustre Polish was dry on the film. I did mist the dry polish with water before trying to make the second print. It just did not work the way I did it. So now I know to press the cling film and remove from the first print before the polish dries. Then I need to use some spray glue on the blank card before pressing the cling film onto it. Thanks for the video and sharing your new techniques.

I’m a huge fan of your videos and have even binge watched them. This video is awesome just like your videos always are! The cling wrap technique is fun and the texture as well as the color combinations that can be created make it a technique to try! It’s also a great way to use the leftover from a prior technique. I may have said this before but your Cosmos flowers are my favorite! And finally...the sentiment fits perfectly with my preference to send cards just to let someone know I’m thinking of them. This is a fabulous card!
