Thanks

Hi crafters!  This one is a bit of a different shape, long and thin!  I started by embossing a piece of Sky Blue card with the Checkerboard Pinpoint embossing folder for texture.  Next I cut the Roselyn Triple Layer top die twice out of coconut white card.  I added a middle layer of Arctic Blue on both of them and backed them in Bluebell card.  On both of them, I added a white decorative centre.  I cut one extra of the inner die and nipped it in half.  For the focal element, I cut the Anna Triple Layer die out of Bluebell card for the top layer and Arctic blue for the middle layer.  For the backing, I cut it in white using the outer decorative die so it had a pretty detail around it. I cut the centre die from the Anna in white for both the top and middle layers, then added a Bluebell backing to it.  I used the Noble Thanks cut in Bluebell, shadowed in black then added to the white die shadow, then glued in the centre of the card.   I assembled the card by adding the two cut pieces of the centre of the Roselyn die to the ends of the Focal Anna die.  I mounted all three pieces down the centre with the two Roselyn dies going on first at either end and the Anna die was mounted horizontally in the centre.  The card was completed with white, Arctic Blue and Bluebell card mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x  9 3/4" in size.  All for now. Sue x

A MESSAGE FROM SUE.

Some of us had an issue yesterday with problems logging in and finding the blog. I had all kinds of problems so contacted Sue. The changes and problems are all down to changes made by Blogger party of Google and anyone with a blog knows they have not control over the changes. I use my phone to comment everything say and didn't get to see the 'read more' which you may find under the title of the card Sue said don't forget to click onto it, it should bring up Sue's explanation of how it was made.

It looks like it's gone back to how it was before yesterday's demons struck from what I can see, but if anyone has a problem it's all down to Google and nothing to do with any changes Sue is trying to bring in. Hope this helps you to continue enjoying this lovely place of inspiration xx

Stupid stupid spell checker. It makes you look so stupid lol.

Another gorgeous blue and white sample I love how you've layered them downwards like this. These layering dies give a real different look regardless as to what people think and hide behind anonymous names to criticize you know who you are. Not all of us like particular designs but at least we explain why so be constructive don't hide away join the club or please don't troll its the cowards way.

Whatever your plans for the day hope it's a lovely one xxx

Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes.
Another card made from my very favourite colours. I don't have the dies and am currently trying hard to sort out the ones I have that are not yet used. Anyway I just may HAVE to buy what it takes to replicate today's offering as it is so gorgeous.
Hope you are well and happy.

A lovely card this morning & a different orientation & size just show the versatility of your beautiful Dies. They do all the work but the colour combination can so easily spoil a card. However you seem to have a knack of always getting that right! Thank you Sue.

This is a fantastic card and would also work beautifully placed on its side as a tent fold (the words being corrected too, obviously). I love blues and this design is so pretty too.

Hi Sue, I love the design and colours of this card and although it is a little on the large side for me I really like it. Having twisted my head sideways I think I would like it even more in a horizontal orientation :-) This is what you do Sue, you challenge us to think outside the box.

The colours on this card look so soft, making a gorgeous sample. I too had trouble with the site yesterday and after a lot of fiddling and signing back in to Google, managed to comment.

Hi Sue. Another really lovely layered card on a par with the one you posted last week Tuesday, the only difference being that the background on this one is blue. Can't decide which one I like best.

This is indeed a big card! I don't make big cards but it doesn't mean I don't like the design. Maybe I will try it with smaller dies... Thanks for sharing, Sue.

Oh wow, Sue,
This is lovely - it's nice to see a rectangular shape (ie long and thin - what I've always wanted to be), and the dies are just gorgeous, especially in this design.
