Just For You

Good Sunday morning all!  I have been playing with the Lustre Polish for this one!  I started with a piece of black card and embossed it with the Splendid Swirls 3D embossing folder.  Next I used the Blue Allure Lustre Polish over the top of it and gave it a quick polish with a piece of kitchen roll to bring out the lustre.  I used the Lustre Polish directly onto another piece of black card and covered an area large enough to cut my flowers from it.  I cut the solid backing for the Striped Nasturtiums out of it, then cut the top striped area from white card and glued the together.   I added the flowers in opposite corners of the card.  I cut Fern Fronds and Trailing Ivy as well as a few leaves and embellished the flowers.  I cut the Just For You sentiment in white and glued it to the background.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x  8 1/2" in size.  All for now Sue x

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, beautiful sample today, I like the luster polish, although I always seem to get myself in a mess with it, I think I am too heavy handed.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Good Morning Sue. What a striking card today Sue. And so different for you...but it suits you...I love it. My mum always used to say "there is nothing smarter than navy and white"...looking at this I think she was right. And I don't know where I would be without my Just For You die. I use it many times. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs and best wishes to everyone. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds.

Hi Sue, sorry I didn't comment yesterday but I really like the card and your die-cut background looks great, I intend to try this technique soon. Today's card grabs you as soon as you see it and although your dies are gorgeous I think the lustre polish is the star of this show.

Hi Sue. Love the way the white flowers and leaves really pop against the dark background. Those nasturtiums are my favourites of your flower dies so I am probably being a bit biased when I say I love this card.
