Hi crafters! Happy Birthday and a
Hummingbird for today's offering. I started with a piece of
wisteria card and embossed it with the
Brambled Rose embossing folder for texture. Next I used the
Double Stitched Circles and cut a multi layered frame using white as the base of the frame and a thinner ring of Iris card. I added it to the centre of the card with a white base on mounting foam. Next I made two
Triple Layered Fuchsias using
Iris card for the top layers,
wisteria for the middle and
white as the base colour. I added eaves that were made of three different shades of green from my stash. I added the flowers to the top of the card so they were peeking out from underneath the frame's edge. Next I made the
Triple Layered Hummingbird using
tan card on top,
Nutmeg card as the middle and wisteria as the base. I attached him to the other side of the frame. I used the
Happy Birthday shadowed sentiment cut in
Iris card with a white shadow base and glued it inside the frame. White, wisteria and iris card mats and layers ere used to complete the card. The finished dimensions are 7 3/4" x 7 3/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

I am in love with the triple layering dies - but I think I may have mentioned that once or twice! The hummingbird is so beautiful. I have told myself that if my wish does come true and I receive any of the layering dies I so desperately want on Mothering Sunday, I will have no choice but to kick off my cardmaking for 2019 in spectacular style!
