Love and Kisses

Hi crafters!  I had meant to share this card with you ages ago, but it just got lost in my folders of well, face it, way too many cards to share! LOL  I really loved the way it came out though.  I started with the coconut white background and embossed it with the Dot Matrix Pinpoint embossing folder (hey, deja vu, that seems familiar!)  Next I cut three of the Happily Ever After die in white and stacked them, side by side with one in the middle on top.  I stamped the ForeverLove Stamp To Die For in black and used Distress Markers to give it a touch of colour in the flowers and leaves.  I cut it out with the matching Love Perspectives die and mounted it across the die cut with mounting foam.  I cut the "and kisses" plaque from the set in white and backed it with pale pink card and mounted it in the bottom right corner.  I used the Exquisite Poppies die set and made two white scrunched flowers and added them to the left of the sentiment, surrounded by accents of Olive Leaf branches.  A simple white on white mat completed the card.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4" x  7 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Gorgeous card, so beautiful. It's very romantic, Valentine's perhaps.
Elaine, such bad news about the cancelled chemo but the hospital will want Andrew to be stronger to tolerate it. I can't understand how low he will feel, it has been a long hard road and that end post just keeps moving backwards.
Dragonsnap, good to have you back, bet the lit grandchildren were pleased. So glad baby Lola is recovering from her little op and growing well.
Tracey and Pat, I hope you have a wonderful meet up, so exciting and I am so envious.
June take care of that cold.
Hugs to all missing and unwell friends, Tina, NannaTina, Wheeley, Maureen, where are you all .

Moring Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh such a pretty card today, would be nice as a anniversary, valentines, or wedding card wouldn't it. loved the way you have stamped and coloured the roses, it really makes the card pop and I so love this new embossing folder, I have now used it quite a lot, easy on the eye.

Pam feeling much better now the cold has gone. Hope your not doing too much at work, you have to look after yourself.

Everyone - there is a real storm Doris Day coming along today so please be careful.

Elaine - I have heard this happening so often in the last stages of treatment but as Pam says Andrew needs to be strong, special hugs.

Good news Dragonsnap, Tracey and Pat so nice to be able to meet up.

Special hugs to everyone who need them.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Oh Sue. I'm so happy you found this poor lost soul amongst the hundreds of beautiful samples in your files, it's far too beautiful not to have its day here, such a delicate piece of art, the Happy Ever After is so sweet and the stamp to die for within the LOVE just stands out beautifully, all in all Sue, the most stunning card.
Sending you hugs for the day xx

Morning Sue. WOW Another of your gorgeous romantic looking cards which could be used for many occasions. The colours on your stamped image just makes the whole thing pop, wish mine would look as good. I must stamp and colour in more as my confidence is not up to scratch, but as they say practice makes perfect, i can only hope and pray it happens soon LOL. Woke up to the winds and heavy rain just hoping that it keeps the snow away. Take care everyone if you have to go out in this horrible weather.
Best Wishes.

Hello Sue and friendly commenters,

Does it show that I was sitting and waiting for 1 a.m. (my time) which is 6 a.m. (your time)?
My favorite part of this card is the triple Happily Ever After shapes at the top. I was hoping for something more engaging because I have a lot of cleaning still to do tonight before the technician comes to hook up my TV/internet/phone in about 10 hours. I've been relying on my phone, iPad and radio since 2012.
I'm happy to let the Perspectives range go right on by while I focus on getting second sets in some of the countries and oceans ranges. Like Bora Bora, Union Square and perhaps Maldives.
So thanks for the distraction. Now I'm off to do dishes and clear paths to the TV, computer and phone.
If there was a shadow box collection for hoarding, I'd have to get it and all the accessories!
Love,
Donita

Fingers crossed that it calms down a bit as I have to go out in a couple of hours. Hoping that Doris doesn't damage any Wlsonettes or their property so please take care out there.

Hello Sue,
What a gorgeous card! Fancy hiding it away in box - poor thing! Lol! The stamping on the lettering just makes all the difference! I have the Happy one but not this one! I need to think about the stamp. Having the colouring on the stamp really means no more colour is needed - it's so effective! Some of the small Dies in these sets fit in the shadow boxes too! See - you make me think outside the box - shadow or real!! Lol! Thank you Sue, once again for a lovely card and loads of inspiration!
Well John had a real sell out Show on Hochanda last night! All that preparation he will have done!
It's blowing a real hoolie here with heavy downpours of rain! My car had to be serviced today too but a very kind husband took it for me!
However he cant go to the hairdresser's for me! That Outing will be a waste of time in this weather ! Lol!
Pat L - I have already told Maureen you were asking about her. I will tell her again! Thanks for asking about her! I know we tease each other all the time but she is such a caring friend.
Janice - Happy Anniversary to you and your husband! I hope you have a lovely day. Just try to ignore the weather!

Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

Exquisitely beautiful just about sums up today's card and aren't we the fortunate ones to benefit from your find....i sometimes wonder how you manage to keep track of the hundreds of samples you do over the year and where on earth do you store them all? I adore the white on white with that striking pop of red, very romantic and pure at the same time like a fledgling romance....not that i would know being that i am a tired, shrivelled old spinster:-) The dies used are some of my favourites, the Happily Ever After has some beautiful detailing and the Perspective dies are always a striking die to use. I for one am very grateful that you stumbled across this stunner, and it looks like the Bed of RosesEF has been relegated into second spot:-)
Yesterday's giveaway card was exceptional too, I didn't comment though because i wanted to give everyone else a fairer chance of becoming its adoptive Mum...i have an embarrassment of beauties now after my win earlier this year and don't want to spoil anyone else's chances of owning one of your jewels.
I had the arduous task of speaking with Yvonne last night....cant believe i missed the Brit Awards as a result!......i always endeavour to be a good, kind, understanding listener but she just tests my patience to the limit:-). I had to endure endless tales of her gallivanting across the country...let me tell you, Phill must have heard in advance of her arrival and hid in a cupboard until she'd left his shop in Nottingham....not to mention her partying and trips to the West End...me?Jealous? How very DARE you!
I have just about recovered from my debilitating experience after a couple of gins, a Valium and a good nights sleep:-)
Well, Storm Doris came and went without so much as a whimper. Yes it snowed during the night but we mainly had rain to contend with so just another average day in Scotland really....i do hope that its okay tomorrow though because i have a nail appointment in Stirling and don't fancy going to it by sledge and Huskys:-)
Carmen, I don't know where you could have picked up the notion that i am the troublemaker!!??! I am known on the blog for my kind, understanding and optimistic monologues whereas my companion Yvonne has been known to stoke up a few arguments with her bitchy comments...aimed mainly at me it has to be said....so don't be fooled by her butter wouldn't melt guise because it will soon slip and you will see who the real troublemaker really is:-). You have been a lovely addition to our blog community, i am glad to see you have the similar sense of humour that inflicts most of us, it will stand you in good stead:-)
Peter, welcome, so refreshing to have a male commenting for a change....my thoughts are with you as you care for your dog, we are a community of animal lovers too and can really appreciate the strain that you are under, sending hugs.
Elaine, so sorry Andrew has missed out on his treatment again, hopefully his bloods will have improved by next week...hope you are okay too?
Tina and Nana Tina, missing you both, sending hugs.
Dragonsnap, i hope little Lola recovers swiftly from her problems, its great that she's growing so rapidly though, a good sign.

Good evening Sue
A real treasure of a card so very beautiful indeed
Unlike lots of people all over the country we have not seen storm Doris just a little rain and wind nothing serious but a gremlin appears to be playing havoc with our internet I have tried several times to leave a post, I hope this will post as I'm off to bed.

Good evening Sue,
Such a beautiful card and I'm certainly not going to complain about a bit of deja vu, I love the dot matrix embossing folder. White on white always looks fabulous and used with just a pop of colour makes it a really striking card. So glad you found it and shared its beauty with us.
Pam thank you as always for your early morning summary.
Janice congratulations on your anniversary.
Yvonne sorry to hear you were suffering yesterday, hope you are feeling better today.
Carmen you will no doubt have realised now that Laine is totally deluded in her self estimation.
Laine Patricia may have mentioned Maureen's new trolley which she is busy packing and unpacking for our trip away, what she failed to point out is that Maureen has christened it her man magnet! I can see we shall need to keep a close eye on her.
Storm Doris certainly has caused chaos where we are, trees down all over so it's been an indoor play day for me with my grandson. I am now an official Ninja Warrier.
Love and hugs for all
Saba
