Double Heart Spray Sunday

Good Sunday morning all!  I am starting to finally get caught up on all the extra cards that I had to post!  The pickings are getting slimmer for cards using the same dies but today's card posts both show the Heart Spray in action though.  I used the Love Perspective die to cut an aperture in a piece of coconut white card.  I used the smaller plaque to cut the "and kisses" below it.  I made a piece of Caught in Crystal using Pixie Powders to show through the cut out areas on the card.  Using a piece of acetate, I poured Cosmic Lacquer on it and sprinkled Midnight Blue, Peacock Green and Aqua Lagoon Pixies on it then added a piece of scrunched up white tissue paper over it and set it aside to dry over night.  I used part of it behind the cut out areas and then cut the Exquisite Poppies out of the rest of the piece.  I added a thin frame using the Double Pierced Noble Rectangles dies, raised for dimension.  I added the poppies in the lower corner and accented them with white heart sprays.  The card was completed with a white on white mat.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x  8" in size.  Scroll down for card number two.

Card number two is a shaker card which uses the fall away pieces from the Heart Spray (so all of those from the card above did not go to waste!)  I cut the Triple Line Best Wishes three times out of a piece of coconut white card.  I glued each of the lines to a piece of clear acetate.  I added mounting foam to the back edges of the acetate to raise it,  I added all the hearts to the acetate and then place a piece of blue dusk card over the back to seal them in.  I used the Double Pierced Noble Rectangles to make a multi layer frame out of white and blue dusk card and added it to the front.  I accented with Poppies again, but this time they were cut from Blue Dusk card covered with sticky adhesive sheet and glittered with Iced Snow.  I accented the with white Heart Sprays.   Blue and white mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  8" in size.

The winners of this week's Comment Game are:

Stitchingranny!!

Dawn Malpass!!!

Congratulations all!  Please email me at americansue1@gmail.com to confirm your address and claim your prize.  All for now, Sue x

Sunday Smiles to you Sue. There maybe a thick layer of freezing cold nasty frost this morning but you've certainly warmed up the morning with these gorgeous samples. WOW is my first thought on sample one, those pixie powders make the whole design POP, you wouldn't believe that a few taps of magic dust could transform those poppies so much, super exquisite poppy flowers if you ask me. The 2nd sample is also amazing. This is when I show REAL lack of brain power, and super lack of understanding lol. I thought I'd try a shaker card with your deer's and tree's as a change for one of the orders I had a few weeks ago and I hadn't a clue lol tried to follow You Tube, no good, useless ! One of the easiest cards supposed to make and I stood there looking at my ingredients in front of me like I was doing the Mannequin Challenge lol. I knew what I had to do and how it was supposed to be out together but I just couldn't work out how to put the deer and trees on a snowy bling mound of iced snow AND once the snowy hill tops where dry turn it into a shaker lol so I covered the design with acetate but no shake - it still looked nice and the customer in her own words was "gob smaked" good or bad gob snaked - we'll never know the truth lol but I'm hoping for good lol.
Both card samples are absolutely stunning Sue and I'm sending the sentiment back your way.
Well done ladies, and a big well done to our mamma Pam, I sense your quite happy about the result lol... enjoy your gift all 3 of you happy Sunday xxx

Two great cards, Sue, like them both but LOVE the first - the PP'd acetate in fab colours really makes it special! Just got round to viewing yesterday's video - tips as always. Never view on YouTube - always like the surprise as they come around on your blog and ever grateful for them.
Pam - hugely pleased to see you are among the winners, well done (and hope that cough is going) and to the other two as well.
Tracy - busy time for you at work so let Christmas just be stress-free and drift by - it'll soon come round again!
Went to a Christmas Craft Fair Friday, had a stall and sold £85+ of unused and redundant craft 'stuff' (more than most people with proper things took) - so fairly happy and am thinking - what to buy next ha ha!!
Hugs to missing pals (Laine, PP, Wheely) and to all who are poorly and/or recovering.

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, Two beautiful samples today, both equal in my eyes so top marks for both of them.

Congratulations to all the lucky winners, especially Pam who supports everyone so much on our blog.

To my friend Theresa G who is recovering from an operation - pleased the tablets worked, and keep practicing with those crutches for our marathon race haha!! bet that made you laugh.

Tracey - Diane G those are lovely words to Tracey, 'True friends and family will understand' - Christmas is always a difficult time of year especially when you have lost someone during that year, you have mixed emotions and for many, myself and my sisters included we always remember the wonderful times we had with our parents and family, we all find it bring us comfort to include them in our celebrations. Take each day as it comes Tracey and remember your Dad would not want you to be too sad on this day, remember the good times and reminisce with him xxx

P in Wales - well done on selling your unwanted craft stuff.

Lynda, enjoy your jolly's next week

Tina T, shame Peter didn't want his Pint, but he will have one soon and enjoy it even more, yes you had to wait a long time for your meal, hope it was worth it. I have heard from many knee replacement patients that the bending is the most tricky to master and for many of them they can bend it enough to get by, I know the consultant was not worried about mine so I am happy with how it has turned out. I can live with it as it is and am grateful that I do not have the awful pain that I had before the op (I know the left one needs doing but I am holding out for as long as I can as I know what is coming now).

Elaine, - keep up the good work Andrew xx

Tina, hope Mick continues to gain weight.

Sending special hugs to Sharon and daughter, Lynda, Laine, and anyone else I have missed.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

P in Wales, i may do this myself at a craft fair next year ,a great idea i have so much craft stuff i don't use any more.

June , keep up the good work.

After saying how well Andrew was ,he had a proper off day yesterday , it seems as if he goes two steps forward and one back , he also had a letter of apology about his complaint yesterday Andrew seems to be satisfied with it but like he says " he will never forget the reaction and attitude from that supposedly trained member of staff " .He will still be going to the Hospital for his blood to be taken as all staff are nice and friendly so it is worth the extra milage .

Take care all big hugs coming your way.

Oh my goodness, Sue, these are both incredible cards! I think I've instantly fallen in love with the first one though.
I'm amazed at how many different effects you can get from the wonderful poppy dies and using the left over acetate to cut them from for the first card is pure genius.
Well, the sky is deep blue here today, the sun is shining...and the wind is cold enough to cut you in half!! I'm trying to decide if it's worth risking life and limb to take the dog out lol. I need to get the kitten in first though as I don't want him to follow us on our trek.
I've finally finished making all my tree decorations, I don't think I want to have to do that again in a hurry so they'd better last lol.
Happy Sunday, everyone.

Well done to this weeks winners
Especially mamma Pam!! Xx

Well ladies more bad news today. Whilst I was on my tea break my mom called to say my step fathers dad had passed away. He had a brain tumour and we weren't sure how long he would have. We only found out a few weeks ago. Honestly I don't know how much more of this crap I can take. I had to leave work as my mom was distraught then I got upset. U really couldn't believe this is happening to our family. I keep telling myself that I'm still lucky and there's others out there who are having it worse.
Anyways Xmas is just me and my sister now as mom n Alex just want to be on their own. Can't wait till this year is over.
Thanks for letting me ramble. This blog has been my saviour xxx love to all.
