Hello bloggers! I really like the way this one came out and thought it would make a nice offering for the Wednesday Card Giveaway card. I started with a piece of the pale lavender patterned paper from my Classic Elegance paper pad. I cut it into three strips based on the linear pattern to the paper. I matted it with a thin white border and mounted it with foam on to another piece of coconut white card to create the background. I cut a smaller piece of the same paper but in a square this time. I matted it with a thin white mat and added four Hobart Adornments around the edges of the square. I added it to the centre of the background giving it a sort of diamond orientation. I stamped my sentiment, then cut the centre of the Melbourne die out of Wisteria card. I backed it with white then cut the centre out to create a frame for my sentiment. I centred it over the sentiment then added a thin white frame around it by cutting the two circular dies in the Melbourne set. I created a Sweetheart flower by cutting the solid piece out of the patterned paper then adding a white edge to it using the open petal die from the set. I seated the flower on some white tulle and satin ribbon. I added small white pearls to the background and die cuts as accents, then completed the card with a white, wisteria and white matting to it. The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 8 1/2" in size. Leave me a comment to be included in the drawing to win this one!! All for now, Sue x

I cannot get over how incredible your work is - I'm in trouble with the husband of a friend because I told her about this site and where to get the dies. I bought 6 dies and that's only a small portion of the ones I want! (Heehee!)
HI SUE
DONT OFTEN SEE YOU USE PATTERNED PAPER BUT THIS TURNED OUT BRILL. GREAT JOB.
