Hello crafters! I am not sure if this will translate or not, you will have to tell me, but when I finished this card, all I could think of was neopolitan ice cream! The blush pink card, milk card and brown card together just made me crave ice cream! Is neopolitan ice cream uniquely American? I don't think that I have ever seen it in the UK. Let me know. Anyways, as far as the card goes, I started by embossing the pink blush card background with a new folder called Sparkle Squares. It is one of our new smaller folders (5 3/4" x 7 3/4" in size). I cut the lower edge with the Phoenix cutting edge die. I cut another piece in brown as a lower edge shadow and glued it just slightly outward from the pink one. I cut another one out of milk card and used all three of the dies in the Phoenix set this time. I added it to the top with some mounting foam. Using the Scored Lines embossing folder, I did a small strip of milk card and glued it so it was peeking out from underneath the Phoenix edge. For the focal element, I cut the Copenhagen die in milk card and in brown card. I used the brown as a shadow and slightly offset it beneath the milk diecut. I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with the smaller die in the Oslo set. I inked it with Antique Linen before removing it from the die and mounted it in the middle with foam. I added two pearl corners in the upper corners as embellishments. I paper pierced a milk mat, then added a thin blush and brown mat before adding a final milk mat. The finished dimensions are 8" x 8 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x

Good morning Sue and everyone, this is a lovely card. I love the colours and style.
Hope everyone had sunshine yesterday, it was a lovely spring day. Back to work tomorrow after a week off.

Beautiful card Sue and gorgeous pale colours.

Morning Sue.
Yes we do have the Ice cream here.it comes in big tubs, at the moment Lidle have it in individual wafers. Todays card is beautiful too, Thank you Sue, take care, I prefer ice cream to chocolate.lol
Yes Sue we do have Neapolitan ice cream and I can see what you mean with the colours. Gorgeous card and quite mouthwatering refreshing. Hugs xx
GM Sue. Lovely. Yes we have Neapolitan ice cream. I think it was more common in the 70s though if I recall correctly before the plethora of the varieties we have today existed. Or am I completely wrong on that? Wilsonettes will discuss no doubt.
Morning Sue and all that enter today. Yes Sue, we have Neopolitan here, never to keen on the chocolate strip though.
OM goodness this is stunning. I love the new folder, and what stands out is that you have listened to the plea's for smaller folder's so Im certain they will extra popular. What a pretty folder to enhance my favourite pastel colour, I just adore todays gift, the perfect start to our week. Hope you all had a lovely Easter Sunday.
Thinking of those that are unwell and struggling today.
Love n hugs.
Lancashire Steph xx
Nice card today - neopolitan ice cream exists in Aus too although we seemed to devour the chocolate and vanilla in our family and we wouls be left with a third a tub of strawberry!
Hi Sue. Gorgeous card today. Love the Copenhagen dies and embossing folder - which I am lucky to have both of. Mouth watering colours too, yes they do remind me of Neapolitan ice cream which you can buy here - may have to go and buy a tub now :-) Have a lovely day. Hugs to all xxx

neopoliton is just right....especially if you're an ice cream addict!
really pretty card
Lovely card Sue, hope you are well and will see you at Ally Pally on Saturday.
lovely card and colours , but can't stand Neapolitan ice cream it's yuk!!!!
Just beautiful, and you have named it perfectly x
Hi Sue
Actually Neapolitan ice cream is Italian from Naples where it originated it was brought to America and other places by immigrants who shared their expertise in the making of iced desserts something they specialised in.
Not sure about neapolitan ice cream but there is definitely an ice cream feel to this card with the swirls at the bottom. A very pretty pastel card right up my street.
Hope the Easter bunny came calling!

Those dies work so well together. Lovely card.
You aroused a memory - cutting a slice off a block of Neapolitan icecream and sandwiching it between 2 wafers.

Beautiful card today, yes you have nudged the memory box regarding the Neopolitan ice cream. Hugs to all .Linda.
Lovely card, thanks for the ideas with the different dies and how they can be interchanged, Sue!
Morning Sue, Pam and all Wilsonettes, what a lovely greeting this card is today, Neapolitan Ice cream, yes we still have them here, they were a real treat when I was a child, my Mum would slice the ice cream up and sandwich them with wafers, oh I can still taste it now, yummy. Anyway this card reminds me of it so much, I am going to have to use these colours as well, love it.
Have an enjoyable Monday everyone, stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs June Smith xxx
Morning Sue
I hope you're having a day off and resting today as no doubt you have a manic week ahead.
Yes we have your ice cream here and it used to be a treat when I was little instead of the usual vanilla.
Your gift today is just beautiful. I love the new Efolder and your colours are just perfect. Today's die is definitely one of my favourites out of your Gemini set as it's so gentle and very very usable.
We have sunshine this morning but yet again it's very cold. Through the windows it looks glorious but it will be an indoors day for me.
We also have a beautiful show of Daffys and the Primroses in the grass (I cannot call is a lawn as it was once part of a field)look absolutely stunning - cream and purple gorgeous. We also have one or two Cowslips/Oxslips under the Catalpa tree so Spring has sprung I only wish it had told the Temperature God.lol. I hear the car in the back lane which means Mr E has returned with breakfast so must go.
To all in pain and suffering I hope your day gets better. To everyone please take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.

Good morning Sue, such a pretty card and yes I can see the link with neopolitan ice cream. We do have neopolitan in the UK, although I can't recall the last time I saw it for sale, this may be me trying to avoid the calories though!!! X
Morning Sue
This is a beautiful card
I like the folder and the colours.
I remember having Neapolitan many years ago in the UK, but don't recall seeing it for a while
Pat x
A very yummy card indeed Sue!
Gorgeous colours and fantastic card!

Hi Sue
Not had a chance to visit your blog for a few days sorry.
This card is very elegant and the colours are lovely. Sometimes a muted colour is just right. Love the faux layering gives really good depth.
Have a great Monday.
Zena x
As people have already said we have neopolitan ice cream Google tells me at least a couple if supermarkets sell it The letters "T" and "S" come to mind It was extremely popular in the 70's But now there are so many more exotic flavours it's gone out if favour a bit Beautiful card in these neopolitan colours and I'm loving the new embossing folder
Hi Sue
yes Neapolitan is available here
an idea could be to check the ice cream aisle in the bigger supermarket? not to mention any brands.. lol
the card is super cool! x
Good morning ,Sue, what a lovely card today to start the week, such delicate colours and I love the new folder.
Hi Sue. What a gorgeous card in beautiful delicate colours today. Love the Sparkle Squares EF.
As you can see from the previous comments we certainly do have Neapolitan ice cream over here. I agree with Clare W that it was more popular during the 70's when my Gran used to buy a block of it for Sunday afternoon Tea, she would serve it sliced and put between wafers or dished up with tinned fruit cocktail (she used to let me have it in a dish on it's own and I always ate the vanilla bit first, then the strawberry and finally the chocolate. To be honest I still do the same today on the odd occasions that we have it at home. It remains one of my favourite flavours : ))
Sending my daily hugs to everyone. Only 5 sleeps now: ) Take care xx
Morning all, it's a glorious spring day here in South Wales (at the moment, anyway!) Lovely card, Sue, see what you mean about neapolitan, though the one I remember (from 1950s on) had green as well! Pistachio, I believe. Anyway, let's hope we get some ice cream weather this week! Love to all, Judy M xxx
What a co-inky-dink I have some neopolitan ice cream wafers in the freezer right now! I haven't bought it in years but the kids fancied it. I'm with some of the others in that the chocolate is the not so nice bit (strange since I'm a chocoholic!😊).
I like the colours together though and the new EF looks so deeply embossed. Lovely!
Big hug
Julie E
A lovely sunny morning here in Buckinghamshire.
The card is really lovely and looking forward to seeing all your new embossing folders on C&C.
Hi sue, yes we have Neapolitan ice cream here I might just have to go and get some now! A fabulous card again, can't wait to see you for the first time in real life at ally pally next Saturday.
Helen Garrington

Take Care
Elaine H X
Love the card and yes it reminds me of the icecream too. No it is not just american but you don't see it around that often these days, fancier flavours have taken over.
Good morning Sue - today's card is stunning & such beautiful colours too! Guess this embossing folder is another for the 'must have' list!

Scrumptious card!
Caz x
Hello Sue,
Well, you've sent us all on a trip down Memory Lane with your Neapolitan ice cream...lol..I remember the version made with a green segment, doubt that it was real pistachio though, more likely full of E numbers for the colours and flavourings...unlike your pretty card which is the real McCoy...and yet another new embossing folder to go on the wishlist...
Izzy
A beautiful card Sue. Yes it reminds me of the ice cream.
Hazel x
Hi a Sue,
Very pretty card and I can understand where you are coming from with the Neopolitan ice cream. We do have it here although I was never a fan - I think it was the brown/ chocolate part that I never liked.
We had a beautiful day here yesterday and today looks lovely although a bit colder. What a lovely change to wake up to sunshine. Hope everyone is as well as they can be. Have a lovely day. Love and hugs to all, love Alison xx
Well, that's something else to go on the "want" list; what a gorgeous EF!!!!!

Morning Sue, What a stunning card. I certainly know what you mean about Neapolitan ice cream. It brings back memories of summer days when as a treat I was allowed a slice in between two wafers. Now I think I need some! Love the new embossing folder as well. Wonderful card for Easter Monday.

Hi Sue,
Lovely lovely card. Simply adorable.

Good morning Sue today's card is gorgeous. From lots of other comments I think you now know that we have Neapolitan ice cream here maybe not as much as we used to. I am so looking forward to Ally Pally on Saturday. Have a great day today. Hugs Jackie
Morning Sue. I can remember eating this ice cream when i was younger visiting my gran she always made a great fuss after tea and said she only had it when we came to visit. How times have changed as you don't see it so much these day's. Today's card is beautiful with the shadows and colours of card. The new e/b folders and pearl corners are stunning.
Hope everyone had a lovely day yesterday and they say the weather has to be beautiful today so fingers crossed.
Best Wishes.

Hi Sue I agree with Hazel a beautiful card and no big bow which suits me.

Hi Sue. Gorgeous card and one I shall try to make this afternoon. I think you must be on commission for Neopolitan ice cream companies because it now seems we are all craving it. Subliminal advertising methinks! (Lol). Have a great day. x
Hi Sue, Lovely card and colours. love Jean Z xx
Hello Sue
Well all these memories flooding back!
In the 50's no one had a freezer, so the Ice-cream man had the the Neopolitan, this had Green in as well as the other flavours!
Love all these new Folders Sue, so handy to have the smaller ones!
Love the card
Take care
Love Marg
Morning Sue, beautiful card, just love the ice cream look of this card, so yummy!

Hi Sue
I'm not a lover of ice cream but I love today's card, it is beautiful. The sun is shining here in France and my friends garden is blooming, full of beautiful spring flowers, makes your heart sing.
Hugs and best wishes everyone

Hi Sue. Yes, ice cream does come to mind, lovely. Off on a crafting retreat for a few days, but going to do my best to check in every day, the network where we stay in the Ribble Valley is a bit hit and miss, but such a lovely area. SueL x
Lovely card Sue,we do have the ice cream here in a block to cut into slices to put between two wafers or from a tub, eating ice cream and making cards two of my favourite things, thank you, Linda x

YvonneMayxx
A lovely, gentle coloured card Sue. Yes we do have neapolitan ice cream, have had it for years. My favourite is chocolate but my Mum always seemed to prefer the strawberry. Thank you.Xx
Gorgeous card. Definitely Neapolitan! Not a nice cream fan myself but often see it in the supermarket!
Beautiful card Sue love the soft colours. Not sure if Neapolitan Ice Cream still made today here in UK but it used to be my mum's favourite. Vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Memories !!! X
Good morning Sue and everyone
A delicious card, certainly a lot more so than Neopolitan ice cream lol! Lovely pastel feel and embossing.
Like chocolate, like strawberries but don't like chocolate or strawberry flavoured stuff so wouldn't be a favourite but certainly a supermarket beginning with T sell it.
Have a great day.
Ang x
stunning card Sue. Not long til Ally Pally, can't wait I'm bringing 3 friends with me. x
Love this elegent card sue and the colours soft tones. Thank you love to all June horrocks xxxxxxx
Good morning Sue, I love this card, many years ago we used to buy Neapolitan ice cream for my girls but haven't seen it for years. However it's very much available in Italy who in my opinion make the best ice cream ever. X Ros
Looking forward to seeing this new embossing board in Ally Pally at the weekend.
Oh yes, definatly Neopolitan ice cream, love it!
Morning Sue, Beautiful card love the design and colours, will be trying this one, thanks for sharing! love Junex (Cumbria)
Hi Sue what an amazing card, so pretty and delicate and yes, ice cream colours!. I have a feeling you are solely going to be responsible for a huge increase in the sale of Neapolitan ice cream this week! Don't they call it the Delia effect. Yes I too remember it from childhood, we used to be sent round to the shop before the meal from my Grans house with a polystyrene box to put the ice cream in to keep it frozen, or it was wrapped in newspaper. Neapolitan was a treat, always ate vanilla first then strawberry then chocolate, oh I'm going to buy some now to relive the memory!
Enjoy your day Sue, hopefully you have sunshine too.
Love Diane G xxx
Although the colour on your card doesn't show up well on my monitor, I can assure you that Neopolitian Icecream is definitely available in the UK, I grew up with it, but always ate it in order of the colours, because I didn't like to mix them (left the chocolate until last!)
Definitely Neapolitan ice cream Sue! I used to buy that in tubs, but haven't seen any for some time now. I love the card, it's beautiful. :)
Paula x
Hi sue.upurcard tidy really is beautiful. I can see why u thought of Neapolitan ice cream lol
I'm not keen on that ice cream as I don't like the chocolate bit.
I think I'm weird as I love choc but I don't like choc ice cream or choc cake!! Lol
Morning Sue
On this bright and sunny morning
Beautiful card, yes Neapolitan is correct or Battenberg cake both delicious as is your card
Hugs
Carol x
Yes, Sue, a super scrummy pretty gentle card today - really lovely - like the gemini layers and the scored bottom.
Wouldn't have thought of Neapolitan
but since you mention it, could really go for it (pity about the annual spring diet, though!) So it's a no no. Think we all were treated as children, loved it.
Above from 'P' in Wales - got carried away with ice-cream thoughts!
Hi Sue, yes I see what you mean about the neopolitan ice cream, it was my nan's favourite and reminds me of when I was a kid. This card is delicious! I'm gradually building my collection of dies and ordered the Copenhagen yesterday, so excited to see your beautiful card this morning. Love all the dies, the colours and the folder too. Have a great bank holiday, blessings, Deb C xx
Lovely card, and I will be trying this one as I have these dies.
Candy sweet!
Hi Sue
Love today's card, it never ceases to amaze me of all the different styles you come up with, lovely.
Oh and by the way yes we do have Neopolitan ice cream although i am not a fan.
Best Wishes
Julie Bee
Hi Sue, a stunning card. Very intricate and delicate looking. A real girly card and I love it. I remember that ice cream in the Italian ice cream parlours years ago, a real mix of flavours. Not seen it for a long time.
Hi Sue
Beautiful card as always.
Yes we have Neapolitan ice cream here but haven't seen it for ages, was more popular in the 70's. Going to hunt some down now you have mentioned it, maybe some prawn cocktail too as that seems to be making a comeback too! x
Hi Sue, a beautiful card.
Hi Sue
Love this card and the colour combo. Yes we do have Neapolitan and I am a favourite of mixing the three flavours together in a bowl!!!! Think the whole effect of this card is particularly pretty and as I'm not a pink fan think this is still very pretty. Gets the WOW factor I think!
Morning Sue
Lovely card today. I have the Copenhagen die which I bought when you were on create and craft. Can't wait until you're back on there later this month. Don't know how you manage to make a different card each day.Todays card is lush.

Hi Sue, gorgeouse card today and yes it does remind you of Neopolitan ice cream, but this is scrummier!! Hugs, Karen xx
Yep neopolitan ice cream it is, so delicate and pretty...the card that is!! x
Morning Sue, what a pretty card and yes it does remind me of Neapolitan ice cream, I loved the chocolate strip but was not keen on the Strawberry one but the rest of the family liked it so it was quite popular in our house. Love the new embossing folder, another for the wish list.
Wendyx
Hi Sue,
Now you're taking me back - Neapolitan ice cream was my all time favourite as a child, a real treat back in the day. This card really does remind me of that it must be the beautiful soft and scrummy colours. I never really noticed that Oslo die before but it looks great on this card.
Beverley W
Definitely Neapolitan ice cream, Sue! :) I love the colours, and the new embossing folder is very pretty. You have put it all together so beautifully. A lovely card for a lovely, sunny day! Jo xx
Morning sue what a beautiful card I love these dies and your design is wonderful.

Hi Sue, love the card today - scrumptuous! Colours and shapes are fab.
I have some of the ingredients so could give it a try using some of your other dies to substitute.
Craftihappiness to everyone and lots of love from Macky.
Hi Sue, I used to buy this ice cream for my children when they were little, haven't seen any for ages tho'.
I agree with Steph the chocolate part wasn't very nice.
Anyway back to your card Sue, I think it's lovely, truly scrumptious.
Love and hugs
Meg
xxxx
Lovely card. Like the technique.
Lovely card Sue, I'd rather not think of it as 'Neapolitan' though - didn't really care for it much ;) (esp the chocolate bit!)
Hi Sue,
I dont know how you keep making these beautiful cards every day. You never disappoint us.
Another stunner today.
Love Val in Spain x
Hi Sue,
I know exactly what you mean -it does spell Icecream parlous and Neapolitan ... Tesco's also have it in individual wafers and also in tubs. BUT I haven't found anything in the supermarkets that tastes as good as Langnese Neapolitan Icecream - used to buy it loads in Germany (luckily for waistline the appeal is not the same over here).
The card is simply yummy!
Have a lovely Easter Monday (suspect it'll not be a quiet one LOL).
Hugs, Rose
Good Morning Sue & Friends,
Today's card is amazing and I love that I have all the dies to have a go! Apart from that gorgeous embossing folder!
It looked at first glance like you had used patterned paper!
Like everyone else we used to have Neapolitan ice cream on a Sunday for tea on the rare occasion that we didn't have a Birds Trifle! Wow I didn't realise how wrong they tasted until I gave my children a'blast from the past' and made them one, they hated it! It tasted somehow chemical ! My parents must have been magicians as they always made a tin of fruit cocktail do all six of us! You were very lucky if you got the cherry!
Thanks for the walk down memory lane, I am off to see what the ladies are up to at the cafe! (My blog)
Hugs to all
Sandra

Hi Sue and all the crafters

Neapolitan was always a standard when I was a kid many many many years ago, love the card, not only Neapolitan, but cosmopolitan too.
Hi Sue, hope you are having a good weekend. Very pretty card. Kind regards Joanne K x
Good Morning Sue & All The Wilsonettes! Belated Happy Easter to you! I hope you all had a good time & had LOTS of chocolate? I am not a great lover of chocolate, so I had crafting goodies instead! That was much better for me, don't you think? HEHE! I hope you are feeling better from your illness, Sue? My Mother had this flu last week & hasn't got over it fully. I had it a few weeks ago but am fully recovered, now (although I do have to go back to hospital for a small operation, which I hope will be soon!I am thinking of booking a room in the hospital, as I am there so often, lately!)! I hope everyone else is in good health? I send my best wishes to all who are suffering, at the moment! Well you have done another STUNNER again, Sue! I LOVE the colour combination &, like yourself, it reminds me of Neapolitan ice cream (which I love !)! I hope everyone enjoys the rest of the Easter holiday! Take care! Love, Mary XXX
Good morning
This is really pretty. Love the colours too.
As an easter treat to myself I've just ordered the 8x8 embossing folder and also one of John's striplet stamps. Can't wait for them to arrive.
Enjoy your day one and all
Lots of love
Jo xx
Good morning Sue,
here in Germany it´s called Fürst-Pückler-Eis named after a prince (in french demi-glace à la Pückler).
But in original I think it´s from Italy and it´s always strawberry, chocolate and vamilla ice cream in one...
So you made a yummy card today.
Rolf xx
Afternoon everyone, a very cloudy day today after the glorious sunshine yesterday, we were still lucky though,
What can i say about today's offering it is very beautiful and i love love the colours, i am hoping to get a card made today so it may be my take on this one, thank you Sue so much,
My other half is addicted to Neapolitan ice cream we buy it every week.
Sandra i used to make Birds Eye trifle for my lot many moons ago, yuk
Hugs to all Johanna
Beautiful card today Sue. Yes it does remind me of neopolitan ice cream. We have it in Canada. Love all the shadowing on the card and the colours work so well together. Think I will try this colour combination. Thanks for sharing and have a great day.
Very gentle colours today and I love the "chocolate" shadow.
Cheers

Hi Sue
This is so pretty. A lovely card. Thank you.
Bye for now.
SandraP xxx
Hello Sue, I love the delicate colours you have used for this stunning card, the thin, almost invisible line of brown makes such a difference to the design - it really makes it pop. Love it all.
Take care, love Brenda xxx
Hello Sue and all
Lovely card. I really like the Sparkles Squares embossing folder. The colour combination is great. I'm sure many have told you Neapolitan Ice cream is available in the UK it was never a favourite in my home as my daughter and I oddly do not like chocolate Ice Cream. I really like the way you have layered the Phoenix dies. Thank you for sharing.
Best wishes
Oh, love so much these embossing, they are so gorgous! The colours are fabulous, this is really a "yummy" card! :D
Hi Sue and all
Love the "chocolate" shadow on the card and the EB is added to the list,
Yes, in Sydney a tin on fruit cocktail and a block of Neapolitan ice cream would be the treat for the whole family, 3 adults and 4 children, I can imagine the looks on my grandchildren's faces if we tried that now lol !
Muriel x
Very pretty card. Love your dies, they keep getting better and better with more detail, also cut great.
As for Neapolitan ice cream, don't know if it is just an American thing.
Good afternoon Sue and the wonderful Wilsonettes,
This is a really pretty card Sue and can totally see where the Neapolitan ice cream thought comes from because yes we have it across here as well and it is lovely. I like the new little embossing folder that you have used as well, as you can because of the generic styling it will be quite easy to make bigger. My special niece that i am making the wedding invitations for has finally decided on a style....your Spanish dies shape, which is my all time favourite of all your collections and i think they will make beautiful invitations so thank you Sue for your beautiful dies.
Well girls, it has been one of those weekends where i haven't stopped since i started so my apologies to all of yesterdays winners, but i know that you will have some stamping fun when you receive your beautiful prize and to Sue for her continues generosity in having these weeking draws as it is so generous and kind of heart to do this for us each week.
Well having had new plants delivered from Bakker i am going out to the garden the fact that it is a lovely day and get them planted.
Sending hugs to all my Wilsonette angels both on blog and not at the moment, with prayers and hugs to our dear friends that are going through the mill at the moment.
Love and crafty hugs
Norah (Glenochil)
Hi Sue
What a yummy card. I remember my children loving Neapolitan ice cream. Thank you for sharing.
Hugs.
What a lovely card. It IS like icecream colors :)
Hi Sue,
Love the colours on this and what you have done with the Phoenix die - really effective.
As to the ice cream it was never going to be a uniquely American thing - it came from Italy after all
Hi Sue, a beautiful confection today, truly edible. I am so pleased as I managed to get the pearl corners last week and am looking forward to using them.
The Neapolitan ice cream that I remember from the 50's came in a block and was red, white and green representing the Italian tricolour (hence the name). Not sure when chocolate took over from Pistachio but I didn't mind as I loved all the flavours. I'm not sure if the modern soft scoop variety would have the same appeal as a slice cut and put between two wafers :-)
Frances
Lush....Sue ...! Your cards are so visually appealing. ...we will all be chewing our cards in a minute....still it would be zero calories.
Thank you again for picking me as one of your comments winner I am so thrilled and can't wait for my gift to arrive.

Hi Sue
Love this card it is beautiful and will be a perfect one for a friend who is reaching 50 shortly. Think the colours are so appropriate for a special card.
Yes we do have Neapolitan Ice Cream here in the UK. As a child it was the one to ask for on my birthday. Usually we only had vanilla.....guess it was the cheapest one!
Lol Barbara W x

I never liked Neopolitan icecream as a child but love this card!

I agree with the ice cream colors reminding one of Neapolitan ice cream. I also see an ice cream sandwich with strawberry ice cream in the center. Uhmm, anyone for an ice cream party? I liked your card today and your newer smaller embossing folder.
Another lovely card Sue
Gorgeous card Sue and certainly an ice-cream with wafer type feel from it. I have got the Neapolitan ice cream over here before I am sure.
Beautiful card Sue!
I just love pink and brown together.
Hope you had a nice relaxed Easter and didn't do too much but I seriously doubt that.

Simply beautiful!
Helloooooo Sue and the Wilsonettes! This card has a mixture of pretty and elegant. Love the sparkle embossing folder and the Pheonix, Copanhagan and Oslo dies. Gorgeous, just gorgeous Sue. The colours remind me of a lush mixture of strawberry and white icecream......Like everyone else I remember having Neopolitan as a child. Sadly now, I've got a milk/whey powder/lactose problem and can no longer have icecream as such. I was so chuffed when I saw a brand called Swedish Glace which is dairy free/vegetarian and gluten free icecream. They did have the Neopolitan too but haven't seen it in S's for at least 12 months. But hey, at least they still do a vanilla flavour!!! Take care Sue, sending love and hugs to all who need them xx Love Karen xx
Hi Sue and everyone
Yes it definitely has that neopolitan ice cream vibe!
I wonder how many Wilsonettes will buy some when we next shop?
I love the card, very delicate and the dies really suit that new embossing folder. Just lovely.
Love Helen xxx
This is beautiful. I love it that you have smaller embossing folders too. I didn't think about it until you mentioned it, but yes it does remind me of Neapolitan Ice Cream, lol. I pinned this beautiful card of course, https://www.pinterest.com/pin/415386765607604828/
Hi Sue
Simply beautiful card and love your colour choice.
I knew perfectly what you meant when you said that this card made you think of neopolitan ice-cream and I think you are right, I saw that too. I love this card, really up my street.
Definitely neopolitan ice cream. A fabulous design - love it!
Hi Sue, so glad I've only just managed to read your blog today , if it had been earlier I know hubby would have been sent out to hunt some Neopoliton ice-cream down!!!!. An absolute belter of a card. Just perfect, so very summery. Lol lynne m x x x
Poochies still sat on the patio staring up at the birds on the guttering. Maybe I have found something that keeps them occupied for more than ten seconds!!!. Long may it continue.
Lol to all lynne m & barking mad bird brains x x x
Good evening Sue,

Hello Sue, and all the ladies,
Yum, yum, definitely a delicious card!!
I think it's gorgeous.
My aunt always gave us neapolitan ice cream with tinned fruit, bread and butter - how old fashioned is that?
I hope everyone has had a pain free and happy Easter.
Maaureen xx
Good Evening Sue and Wilsonettes. Have you all had a glorious day today? It's been warm and sunny down here in Cornwall today and although sometimes it's a bit annoying to live here, especially with hardly any craft shops and no shows to visit but on a day like today when I can sit out in my back garden as smile at the traffic snarls, I can truly smile (or is that smirk lol). Anyway, on to the card...Sue, it makes me wish I had some ice-cream in the freezer. The colours really are like Neapolitan aren't they, but in a delicate way. It's so delicate and pretty, another winner! As always. thanks so much for sharing with us. x
Hi Sue stunning card today, I love the colours and style and yes it reminds me of Neapolitan as well. xx
Beautiful card with lovely colours today. Hope you have had such a sunny day as we have had in Devon.
Very pretty card, Sue
The ice cream used to be available here in NZ, but I haven't seen it for a while
Hi Sue, I agree, it made me think of neapolitan ice cream too, it's the same colours.
I love the card, it is really gorgeous.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Hi Sue. Today's card is beautiful !! Really pretty. It looks very delicate and lacey. I love, love love these colours together !! You are right Sue, it definately reminds me of Neapolitan Ice Cream. I am with Sandra on this one. We used to have Neapolitan Ice Cream with tinned Fruit Cocktail. We loved it and it was a real treat !! I always saved the chocolate bit for last as it was my favourite !! We also had Birds Triffle to on ocassions. My hubbie and I have been sitting here discussing ice cream now !! Thank you for some lovely memories. I really love all the dies that you have used on this card and I love the shadow effects you have created Sue. Both embossing folders top and bottom look great. More stuff for my wish list. I also really love the Phoenix Gemini Die and making it and layering it up in three different colours is a great idea. It makes such a lovely effect. Thank you for sharing this beautiful card today Sue.
I saw your card yesterday but I have only just realised that for some strange reason I did not leave a comment !! Sorry but my brain is rubbish, my memory is very bad. Well any way, I loved yesterday's Bunny card. Very spring like. Thanks for sharing it. Sending you lots of love Sue, I hope you had a lovely Easter, love from Tres x x x
Sorry it is a bit late but Congratulations to all of yesterday's comment game winners. Lots of love from Tres x x x

Hi Sue,
Love the card! Hope everyone's Easter is going well.

Beautiful card Sue. Love everything about it.
Hi Sue
Beautiful card. I shall now relay a tale of why you have made my day!
... yes, we had Neapolitan ice cream, bizarrely, Neapolitan ice cream used to remind me of my Nanna's bathroom, brown and pink tiles on the off white walls and to match she a 'loopy' knitted loo seat cover, floor mat and loo roll cover in those colours to match her very 1970's bathroom! The minute I saw the colours my mind was cast back thirty and an unconfirmed amount of years ago to those wonders of home décor. I don't know if they did these things in the 'States- use knitwear in less enlightened times to "hide" those socially uncomfortable things like toilets and, god forbid, loo rolls... Anyone under 25 would have no idea what I'm going on about!!! As beautiful as your card is Sue I have to admit to having a damn good laugh when I saw it earlier- Has it taken me 12 hours to stop giggling childishly at the though of my dear departed Nan and her ever more inventive efforts to disguise loo rolls?
Almost!
After the Neapolitan ice cream ensemble, in the house after it was pink painted walls (quite tasteful for the eighties), dark pink carpet (you see a slight theme here) but the mats had toned down somewhat to a darker pink. To top it off, "hiding" the loo roll was...
(pause for effect as I KNOW FULL WELL many of you would be familiar with these beauties)
The Señorita in traditional Spanish dress- Like a Tango outfit, her voluminous skirt hiding the spare loo roll. In black and red, she was quite a pretty thing but looked so out of place in that bathroom of wall to wall pink it was utterly obvious what lay beneath her skirt! I can smell the mix of air freshener and imperial leather right now, looking at Señorita ready to dance the dance of passion right there under Nanna's basin!!! After that it was a knitted poodle, in white to go with the theme of not matching anything at all!
Sue, thank you for unintentionally bringing those hilarious but very treasured memories back to me.
Very, very late post. Been helping Mr W today upgrading his phone. He doesn't do tech, he doesn't even know his own phone number so we had the (slightly ironic) situation today of being in a shop that sell phones and me, seated talking to the salesperson, dealing with all the technical's like his data usage, how the phone works etc with Mr W, standing very abled bodied and very dumbfounded next to me- the only thing he did was hand over his card and sign! We then got it home and I have set it up for him- I show him each time- we're on the 4th smartphone now and I hope it's because he forgets how- very probable as I sort out all the tech issues for both of us, ordered a case, screen protectors and a memory card THEN put the sim card back in his old phone as he works in a very dusty, dirty atmosphere so he won't go to work til it's in a new case which left me late for catching up with my bits and pieces (including working out how to make a CE pinterest board!) and I'm on the wind down just before bed- 2 weeks of near constant sleep and my head is so awake now despite the meds which are supposed to have me aslepp and not noticing anything, hence this ramble (apologies!).
I hope everyone had a lovely Easter weekend and saw at least a little sunshine! Wishing everyone a great new week with happy hugs and hours of crafting. Extra hugs to all who are struggling, I hope this new week brings you something to make you smile and forget about those things that are bringing you down, even if just for a little while.

A gorgeous card! We have Neapolitan ice cream Here in NZ too A great favourite of ours
Delicious card. Love the way you've layered of the Phoenix die.
The tub of Neapolitan ice cream in the freezer is calling but I'm resisting the temptation.
Take care everyone.
Love these colors, so very pretty. The embossing folder is lovely. I am enjoying the large EB folders that I ordered from England, can cut them to any size you need, they are all gorgeous. If you are craving ice cream you could always buy a pint of choc, van, and strawberry and have a small scoop of each!!
I love the depth and texture of this beautiful card, a real stunner
Hi Sue,
Gorgeous card, love it all. Neapolitan Ice cream is over here and is one of my favourites since I was a child lol!

Love the background folder and the overall design of this card is just wonderful. We do have neopolitan icecream in the UK - used to have it when we were small, and it came in a big block that you had to slice! Susan x
The color combo is very yummy looking...

Well done Sue
Hi Sue ,sorry but running way behind after my boat of a sore throat and earache over a few day's now so looking at this lovely card do make me feel better and of course the thought of Neapolitan ice-cream, we have it in sweden too and sooo tasty. Hope you had a good Easter,
