Morning my crafty friends! How's this for a wedding card! Or even an anniversary card! Silver and white always makes such a lovely statement, doesn't it? I had this pretty backing paper in my stash that is actually a silvery white pearl on white motif on it, it just screamed wedding to me. I cut two of the heartfelt Decorative window out of matte silver card. This particular window die is not symmetrical in it's shape so I decided to lay them across each other to take advantage of that. It ends up looking like two different die cuts layered up! I cut one of the fancy tags out of white card and layered it in the centre. Then I stamped my sentiment on white card, covered it with a sticky adhesive sheet and die cut it again using the same fancy tag die. After removing it, I nipped away all the scrolly bits which left me with the centre oval shape. I micro beaded this piece and mounted it with foam atop the first tag shape. I stamped one of the Justrite scalloped border stamps on white card and heat embossed it with white powder for a tone on tone look. I cut it out with the scalloped edgeability die shape and added it to the side of my card. I used some silver satin ribbon down the side of my card, just allowing my border to peek out from underneath it. I tied a double bow with a pearl embellishment and stick pins and added it to the bottom of my ribbon strip with a piece of white tulle. I paper pierced the edges of my white mat as my finishing touch. Anyone getting married soon? You will be sorted! Finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x
