So Sweet of You

Hello there my crafty friends!  I selected a piece of ruby red card and embossed it with the Padded Quilt embossing folder.  Next, I cut a circle frame with a larger out ring cut in black and a slightly smaller inner ring cut in white.  I added mounting foam to the back then attached a white backing piece to it.  I cut the So Sweet of You sentiment out of both red and black card.  I used the black die cut as a shadow behind the red die cut, then glued it to the middle of the circle frame.  I used the Rose corner die and cut four of them out of two pieces of white card.  I used the bottom piece of white card as a backing for each of the corners, then I paper pieced both red and green card into each of them.  I added them to each of the card's corners with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white, red and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  7 1/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hello bloggers!  I have a clean and simple snowflake card to share with you today.  I started by making a couple of pieces of Enchanted Sprinkles card to use.  I used the Stormy Skies and the Tidal Teal together and sprinkled them rather heavily onto a piece of white card.  Once dry, I ended up liking the back of the card so I decided to cut my Timeless Winter Snowflake die from the back side of the card.  I glued the snowflakes randomly all over the card and then trimmed away the excess from those snowflakes that went off the edges of the card.  I cut the Peace sentiment out of both gloss white and black card.  I shadowed the white die cut with the black die cut, then added it to a white shadow backing piece.  I added it to the card with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  8 3/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hope Your Day is Full of Sunshine

Hello bloggers!  I cut a piece of white card and embossed it with the Tidal Sands embossing folder.  Next, I inked a strip of white card with Sailboat Blue distress ink and lightly wiped the edge of a white pigment ink pad across it.  I glued it to the bottom of the card.  I hand cut a piece of milk card for the sand and glued it to the bottom of the blue strip.  I cut the umbrella and beach towel from the Beach Accessories die set out of white and red card.  I cut the segments on the umbrella and the towel out of the red card and glued it to the white die cuts.  I cut the Beach Bather with the polka dotted swimsuit out of milk card.  I coloured the swimsuit with markers and cut the hat from red card and added the centre of the hat with mounting foam to raise it.  I say her on the beach towel and cut the beach bag and coloured it to go next to her.  I added a sand castle too.  I cut the plane in red and the banner in white and glued them together.  I used a fine tipped black felt tipped pen to go over the debossed sentiment on the banner.  I added the plane to the sky with a couple of white clouds.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4"  x  7 1/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Merry Christmas

Hello there my crafty friends!  I cut a piece of white card and embossed it with the Ice Crystals embossing folder.  Next, I cut the Holly Wreath Octagon die with all the pieces in white.  I added a red octagon behind the middle section.  I cut the wreath centre section two more times, once in green and once in red.  I used the fallaway piece to paper piece back into the die.  I cover a piece of white card with a sticky adhesive sheet and cut the outer shadow die.  I peeled the backing off and glittered it with Diamond White glitter, then added it behind the die and taped it to the embossed background.  I used the Merry Christmas die which I glittered in red and added a black shadow backing to it before gluing it under the wreath.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  9 1/4"  in size.  All for now. Hi bloggers!  This is a clean and simple card in that it only uses two dies and some Pixie Powders.  I actually made the background that I used for this card ages ago during one of my Pixie Powder making sessions.  I started with black card and used Teal Wash, Midnight Blue, Rich Gold and Purple Violet.  I cut the Vintage Crystal Snowflake out of both black gloss card and white card.  I used the white die cut as an offset shadow behind the black gloss die cut.  I cut it down the middle and glued one half to the lower right side and the other to the top left side of the card.  Next, I cut the Peace sentiment in black gloss card and then added it to a shadow backing which I cut in white.  I added the sentiment to the middle of the card with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x 8 3/4"  in size.  All for now,  Sue x

To A Dear Friend

Hello crafters!  I started this card by embossing a piece of white card with the Padded Quilt embossing folder.  Next I used Jamie's Postage Stamp Octagons and cut a larger black one and then a slightly smaller Periwinkle one.  I used mounting foam to put them together and then I added a white backing to them and glued them to the embossed background.  I cut the Daisy Cluster with a piece of black card on top of a piece of white card.  I used the bottom white piece to colour the embossed image with markers, then I glued the black die cut on top of it.  I added it to the bottom of the octagon frames with mounting foam.  I added black micro beads to the centres of the daisies in the cluster.   I cut the To A Dear Friend sentiment in black and glued it to the top inside of the frames.  I added small pearls to the embossed background.  The card was completed with white, black and periwinkle mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6" x  6"  in size.  All for now Sue x

Merry Christmas

Hello crafters!  As promised, here is one of the samples I made for the new Christmas release.  I started by laying the Blast stencil down on a piece of card with a sticky adhesive sheet added to it.  I used Copper Teal Gilding flakes through the stencil using a rubit scrubit pad.  I removed the stencil and used Black Onyx glitter on the remaining sticky areas.  I cut the Christmas Angel 2026 out of milk card.  I cut it a second time out of black gloss card.  I cut away the dress portion on the black die cut and glued it to the one cut from milk coloured card.  I coloured the hair and skin with pencils, then glued the dress onto it.  I added some fluffy stuff and heated it to the bottom of her dress.  I cut the wings out of white card and glued them to the angel then added her with mounting foam to the middle of the card.  I cut the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Festive Wordie Sheets and added it with mounting foam to the card.  The card was completed with white and black card mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  7 1/2" in size.  All for now.
