Tis The Season

Hello crafters!  I embossed a piece of white card with the Falling Snow embossing folder.  Next I cut the Snowflake Sparkle die three times.  I cut it once in Antique gold, once in silver sparkle card and once in copper card.  I cut the largest die and backed all three of them in white, then I cut the middle die in the same colour and layered it onto the larger part of the die.  I added them to the background offsetting them down the card.  I cut the Tis The Season sentiment in black and glued it to the bottom right corner of the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  8 3/4" in size.

Enjoy Your Retirement

Hello bloggers!  I started with the background for today's card.  I used several colours of Glitter Kiss to create it.  I used Antique Rose, Periwinkle, Vintage Violet and Lilac Glitter Kiss.  I set it aside to dry thoroughly, then cut a hill using the Stitched Clouds and Hills die.  I taped it to the bottom of the card and drew in the road to the cottage with a fine tipped felt pen.  I cut the Keeper's Cottage out of Arctic Blue and added the roof, windows and door cut from
Slate Grey card.  I added several trees ad bushes cut from several shades of green card.  I cut two topiaries and added them to either side of the cottage.  I cut the Enjoy Your Retirement sentiment from the Milestone Wordie sheets and added it to the top of the card with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  7 1/4"  in size.

Thanks A Lot

Hello crafters!  I started by cutting the Floral Harmony Cover Plate with a piece of black card on top of a piece of white card.  I used the white copy to colour the design, then I glued the black die cut on top.  I used my scissors and cut around the flowers and leaves.  I cut a white frame using the Double Stitched Rectangle.  I added mounting foam to the back of the frame, then added it over another piece of white card.  I recessed the middle of the frame (the fall away part) into the opening of the frame.  I added mounting foam to another piece of white card and added it inside the frame.  I added mounting foam to the back of the floral piece, then added it to the left side of the card.  I used dries clear glue on all three flowers, then sprinkled Black Onyx glitter on them and let it dry.  I cut the Thanks A Lot vertical sentiment and glued it inside the frame.  The card was completed with white mats and layer.  The finished dimensions are 6"  x  7 3/4"  in size.

Happy Christmas

Hi bloggers!  I started by embossing a piece of white card with the Falling Snow Embossing folder.  I cut a small piece of red card, scored it across the card and then taped it to the bottom of the card.  I cut a very thin piece of black card and glued it across the join area.  Using the Build A Wreath die set, I cut the wreath die out of white car several times and stacked them together.  I cut a red bow and red berries and added them to the wreath.  I cut several twigs in white and glued them to the top of the wreath.  I cut the Noble Happy Christmas die in white and black, shadowed it then glued it to the red card at the bottom of the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4"  x  7 3/4"  in size.

Thank You For Pet Sitting

Hello bloggers!  I started with a piece of white card and taped the large Polka Dot stencil over it.  I used Salty Ocean, Crushed Olive, Peacock Feathers and Picked Raspberry distress inks in a diagonal manner through the stencil, colouring two rows at a time.  I cut a Double Stitched Square die to create a white frame.  I added mounting foam to the back then attached it over the stencilled background.  I cut a green circle using the Double Stitched Circles, then added a blue frame over a piece of white card.  I cut Pet Pal Bella in white, then added her facial details with a fine tipped felt marker.  I cut an envelope with a pink heart and added it to her mouth.  I made a pink flower for her tail and cut a pink food bowl.  I added several pink hearts above her head.  I stamped the sentiment from the Pet Pal stamp set and cut it out with the Double Stitched Rectangles.  I inked it with Crushed Olive ink before removing it from the die.  I added it to the bottom of the white frame.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimension are 8"  x  8"  in size.

Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

Hello crafters!  I started by embossing a piece of white card with the Falling Snow Embossing folder.  I used the Stitched Hills & Clouds die and cut a white hill that I added at the bottom of the card.  Using the Primrose Cottage, I cut one out of custard card, one out of blush card and one out of pale green card.  I added the roofs, windows and doors in slightly darker shades of each of the cottages.  I cut some small white trees and glittered them with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz and glued them to the background.  Using the Winter Pines die set, I cut some larger white trees and glittered them and glued them around the background.  I added the cottages to the hill and behind.  I cut the horse drawn carriage in white and glued it to the hill.  I cut the sentiment from the Festive Wordie sheets and added it across the top of the card with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  8 3/4"  in size.

Season's Greetings

Good Sunday morning all!  I started by embossing a piece of white card with the Brick Wall Embossing folder.  I used some Weathered Wood distress ink and sponged it across the top of the embossed folder.  Using the Double Stitched Rectangles, I cut a white frame, added mounting foam to the back and attached it to a piece of white card.  I cut the fireplace from the Cosy Fireside Christmas die set in Slate Grey.  I added a black mantle and cut three red stockings and added white furry tops using the Fluffy Stuff.  I added them to the fireplace.  I cut the wood and fire and coloured it then added it to the fireplace.  I added a gold mantle clock to the fireplace too.  I cut the tree and added red ornaments and a gold star to it.  I cut a variety of presents and bows and added them around the tree and the side of the fireplace.  I cut the Seasons's Greetings in red and glued it to a white shadow backing piece.  I added it inside the frame at the top.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 3/4"  in size.

May Your Days Be Merry & Bright

Hi there my crafty friends!  I started by embossing a piece of white card with the Falling Snow Embossing Folder.  I cut the Pinwheel Snowflake die out of Silver Sparkle card and added it to the top of the card with mounting foam.  I cut the middle die from the set in white and layered it on top.  I stamped the Santa in black from the Santa Stamp set.  I coloured it with alcohol ink markers then cut it out by hand and added it to the middle of the die cut.  I cut a thin strip of red card and added a thinner strip of silver card on top of it, then glued it below the die cut.  I cut the May Your Day Be Merry & Bright sentiment in red and added a black offset shadow to it, then glued it on to a white shadow backing piece.  I added it under the Santa with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 3/4"  in size.
