Best Wishes

Hello bloggers!  I started by embossing a piece of Old Rose card with the Graduated Dots embossing folder.  Next I cut two of the Blossom Edger border out of Old Rose card and added them to strips of white card.  I glued the borders to the top and bottom of the card.  I cut a wide frame using the Double Stitched Octagons out of white card and two smaller, thinner frames.  I used the smaller frames on the sides of the larger frame to create a buckle card by weaving a thin strip of Old Rose card between them.  I cut the Wishes sentiment in Old Rose and added it to a white shadow backing, then glued it across the buckle strip.  I stamped the word Best and cut it out with the tag from the set and attached it to the top corner of the wide frame.  I added a border of Iced Snow around the  entire card.  The card was completed with white and Old Rose mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8"  in size.  All for now. Sue x

Oh my word Sue this one brilliant buckle card, my first thought was - how on earth did you think about using this set to put this design together, talk about thinking outside of the box you took one almighty jump and came out with this amazing inspiration, what a designer you are, the best in the craft trade in my opinion. Sending virtual hugs to all our friends today and much love xx

Hi SUE
Haven't seen a buckle card come to light for a very long time, to be honest with with l thought it was something to do with a teapot first sight until l woke up 🤣 and read your details.
But on saying all this it a brilliant card and l love the colours you used, always great inspiration.

Hi Sue
It’s been quite a while since you shared a buckle card but worth the wait, it’s gorgeous. It reminds me that I have that blossom edger somewhere, great to see older dies used along with newer ones
