Can't Wait To Sea You

Hi bloggers!  I started by cutting the Ocean Waves Background out of Arctic Blue card.  I used Bluebell card as the middle layer and backed it in white card.  I used the Double Stitched Rectangles to add a thin Multi layered frame over it with a white base and a blue bell top.  I matted it all on a very thin white and black mat then added it to a larger piece of white card.  I ran some double sided tape around the edge and glittered it with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz.  Next I added another multi layered frame using a Bluebell base and a thinner black frame on top.  For the focal element, I cut the Jocelyn die and added my Can't Wait To Sea You sentiment with a black shadow from the set of the same name onto a small oval and seated it in the centre with foam.  The card was completed with white, bluebell and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  8 1/2" in size.  All for now. Sue x

Hi Sue. I'm looking at your close up photography and loving the layers of mats, the sparkle and pop of black, I'm thinking landscape would look more like waves which is why my brain is struggling with the sentiment a little, it's a really pretty sample that I'd love to see 'for real'
Sending hugs this Thursday hoping you have a lovely day xxx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, Happy 4th of July to you. A super duper sample today, I love the 3d layers and you would never think that this is the waves just by turnning the pattern around, yes I like this very much.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs June Smith xxx

Hi Sue, Happy 4th July to you and all our American Wilsonettes. I apologise for not leaving a comment on yesterday's gorgeous card, it was beautiful and I love the combination of Old Rose, Taupe and Milk. Anna is so very versatile. Today's card has been beautifully made but I can't help feeling that there is something missing - I would probably add a few baby seahorses :D

Yummy card. I do have this die on my wish list but I can't have them all at once unfortunately. This is lovely though and I want it for my mermaids to play in.
