Home Tweet Home

Hi bloggers!  I have a sweet little card for you today.  I started by cutting the Chloe die out of milk card. I used a Double Stitched Rectangle on the outside to give it a little detail. I cut another one slightly larger and added it with foam.  I cut the sentiment out of the bottom of a stitched square (from the Pegboard Stitched Square set), backed it with vellum and a piece of tan card behind that and mounted it with foam as well.  I attached the two together, then cut a single birdhouse to go in the centre.  From the Home Tweet Home set, I cut the birdhouse , porch and bird out of tan card and the roof out of chestnut brown card. I mounted the birdhouse with foam in the centre then drew a thin line with a black pen.  The card was completed with milk mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are
 6 3/4" x  6 3/4" in size.

Don't forget to scroll down to yesterday afternoons post to see if your name is among the winners for the Industrial Chic Festive Die Launch.  They haven't all been claimed yet! All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, a stunning sample today, ideal for a new home card but by changing the sentiment it could be for any occasion, nice one to keep already cut out and then when needed just put together.

Congratulations to all the mini blog release

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

This is another adorable, memorable sample Sue that is clean and fresh looking and when you use this collection it always makes me smile. The tiny bird house nestled inside the most beautiful delicate Chloe die brings the smile and Chloe brings the beauty. I don't have either of these dies which means until I do I can't make anything as beautiful as this and I love beauty.
Well done to the die winners announced yesterday I hope you have great fun with them ☺
Thanks for sharing this delicate adorable beauty of a sample Sue and for starting my day with a smile again. Have a great day xxx

Good Morning Sue

Gosh this is card is so cute I love the tiny house and bird and your black line is so realistic I had initially thought it was black wire. It's totally gorgeous.

Congratulations to all those winners of the recent die launch. I hope that you enjoy using your gifts.

GM Sue. Cute card.

Two surprises in this sample. One is the little bird perched at the door, and the other is softening the chestnut brown sentiment with vellum. Chloe might be my favorite from her launch. Those lucky birds!

Just like the lucky duckies who won one of your brilliant Industrial Steam Christmas Chic sets. It's still summer, yet Santa is already flying! By reindeer and airship!

Best to all,
Donita

Morning Sue, beautiful cute card, just fitting for the morning I have had!! I am looking after my daughter's dog for a week but I have a Cockatiel who is usually out of his cage most of the time while I am around. I felt sorry for him being locked in his cage so let him have a fly around while I walked the dog. I have spent the last 45 minutes trying to get him back in his cage, I think I am more worn out than him so his cage will have to be his 'home tweet home' for the next week! lol xxx

Funny, but I just purchased this set yesterday and I liked this card in the inside inspiration. More of a nudge to drop the Christmas cards for a little sunny weather crafting.
Good luck everybody on the draw. I was bushed when I got home yesterday from my craft day at a nearby city so did not go on computer.
