Frames And Tags

Welcome back!  The second of the Frames and Tags category is the Charlotte die.  This die also has the ribbon threading feature, but as you can see it looks lovely just as a backdrop for your focal element.  I have layered it up with the Indian Ocean tags (both of them, in fact) so you get the sense that this one also works well with others, always a good thing!  I would love to know if you have a favourite yet and what you think about the launch in general.  We are working our way towards the home stretch now so I am sure you must have some thoughts on these!  The final post of the day has been scheduled for 6pm this evening.  I do hope you will be able to swing back by and have a peek.  All for now, Sue x

Fabulous card Sue, the dies make it look so elegant.

Your dies just keep getting better and better. I must get them all but I’m spoilt for choice so they are all going to the top of my MOST WANTED list, although I think the Background dies are my favourites. They can make a card all by themselves with little embellishment.

Enjoyed all the cards you have made from the new collection so far and can’t wait to see more.....

Thank you, so much Sue,

Pearl xx

All the baby dies are at the top of my list but who would say no to any of your fantastic dies. NOT ME LOL? Hope you are enjoying all the great feedback about your new dies as i think everyone is over the moon with them so you should be so proud of yourself after all the hard work you put in to the design of your dies and all of your gorgeous sample cards to launch your dies so us crafters can see how they all work and not just by them selfs but together with other dies. See you later for your last post of the day and it has been another great day. Thanks Sue.

I am absolutely loving the linear look to these new dies. It gives the finished card a clean simple striking look but at the same time is so incredibly sophisticated x
The ribbon threading feature is another extra which gives even more versatility x
You have given us so much that will be quite beautiful used as a stand alone feature but then when used in conjunction with the other dies it takes everything to a new level x
I cannot tell you how overjoyed I am at everything so far and there is still so much to come. Thank you so much Sue x
Not managed my bath yet. But I did put the slow roast pulled pork into the oven, peeled and prepared the sweet potatoes to be roasted, put the breadmaker on so the boys can dunk fresh bread into the meat juices and vegetables in the steamer all ready to go. Now for a bath so I smell much sweeter when I admire today's final delight x

I like that the centre of this die is big enough to take a slightly larger stamped sentiment, so, with the addition of some ribbon to jazz it up, the whole die set here could be used to make a flattish card that would not be too expensive to post but would still look good.

Good evening Lovely sue and her crafty crew!

I was about to comment on this post at three but was rudely interrupted by my brother and mum arriving home early, how dare they interfere with my time with you Sue:-)
I was very pleased to see the Charlotte die accompanied by the lace edger, I was so looking forward to seeing it in action so to speak and I wasn't disappointed. I had a giggle at Norah's description of the differences between the leggy, svelte Charlotte and the more rotund Madeleine, a nice if rather uncomplimentary description, poor Madeleine, I'm only 5 ft so I feel her pain:-)
Lovely card Sue , one to put in my must try for myself folder.
As much as I love a good meaty Blogathon, I dread the moment, and it always comes, when you ask what our personal favourites are. Damn girl, if you weren't quite so good at your job I might stand a chance of answering that but no, you are a one woman superhuman designing wonder and trying to differentiate between your designs is almost an impossibility. But for you Sue, I will try:-) Firstly, special mention has to be made for all of the new arrival collection and the scalloped background, they will be up at the top of my must have list. Then I would have to pay particular attention to all of today's frames and tags collection, love the versatility and option of using my favourite embellishment, the ribbon. The next items on my list have yet to appear so I am very excited for what tomorrow will bring. In actual fact though, I will no doubt buy most of your release over the coming months because I hate to favouritism:-)

Love and crafty hugs

Loving these new frames and tags dies. The card is beautiful and I pinned of course. Of this current release, so far I am craziest about your gorgeous baby dies. I especially love the onesies with the delicate bibs. The whole release is beautiful and versatile. There are some that I pinned but I did not comment on because although they were excellent, I knew I would never use them. I will say one thing about faux stitch and pierced look on the edges of the dies. This is a trend that I personally don't care for. I like my edges clean. But that's just me. I know plenty of people enjoy that look.

Hi Sue. I can't believe we're heading towards the end of another fabulous launch. There are so many dies I would love to re-home so I'm going to have to choose carefully, but I think so far the Madeleine has really caught my eye even though I'm supposed to be saving up for some pierced circles or ovals and the lattice sets. Hi Sue,
I love this launch of dies, though don't think they'll be doing my bank balance a lot of good - lol.
Thanks,

Beautiful card. The new dies are all so lovely it's getting harder by the day to decide which ones I just have to have now and which have to go on the wish list. Until I win the lottery that list is just growing.

Another really gorgeous die set and like Madeleine would work really well with any of the Indian Ocean dies and I'm loving how well the new Edger dies work with both of them too...

Hello Sue and all
Charlotte is gorgeous too, being able to thread ribbon if desired is such a great idea and love the straight lines that match in so well with the Indian Ocean dies.

Hi Sue, well I think this die is perfect for bigger cards due to the more rectangular shape, love the ribbon threader feature, your example is wonderful. Bx

This is a beautiful card Sue! When I first saw this die I thought it was nice and moved onto the next one. Seeing it made up into this card I have to say it's looks are deceiving, it's much more than 'nice'! As for favourites, I can't get over how cute the baby dies are, other than those, there are too many to mention. :)
