Background Frame Card

Hi bloggers!  One of my favourite colour combos, wisteria, white and black, showing off the pretty sections of this background die.  Add flowers and you have a quick and easy card!  The Double Pierced Background Nobles add a great accent to the sections since they have been designed to fit the rectangle background dies.

The finished dimensions are 7" x  9" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Lovely card Sue, it's gorgeous.
Tina T, hope Peter slept better, you too, you need to keep your strength up.
Elaine, that was marvellous of Andrew and the Bikers, hope they raised lots of money for the little girl.
Tina, it is good to hear that Mick is eating well, with all of his problems it is so easy for the appetite to disappear.
Yvonne, it must have been a dreadful shock for you and the boys, it was for me when I found Tim, that was over 2 years ago. You have made a good job of raising the boys alone, even if they are stubborn.
Steph, you do have a gem in Andy, you are both very lucky to have each other.
Wheeley and Maria, hope you are on the mend.
Hugs to all especially if not well. Tracey, hope the trip is going well.

Morning Sue. The only problem using my phone to open the door to this special place is that the colour's arn't always shown at their best and as wisteria is such a subtle delicate shade it's difficult to pick up. I love this sample, have done ever since you first gave us a glimpse on one of your show's and Beverley Rusch from the fb page has done some stunning cards similar to this, it's an absolute beauty.
Four paws off to doggy play group again later this morning, hope she plays today bless her, we're told she wants to but is still 'finding her feet' bad enough to do that with two, must be harder having four lol. She is so over attached to her 'keeper' that she can't quite get use to being without him but out of an hour and a half last week she only barked for 20 mins of that time instead of the full our the week before ! She needs to find the ball pool and swing tyres and fun tubes to run through and just have doggy fun like she deserves poor pooch.
Muriel, my wedding bouquet was full of cream and pink freesia's who needs perfume when you are carrying the most beautiful flowers that have outstanding scent like they do, enjoy.
Looking forward to a few days away with my man (and dog comes too) ! But she adores the freedom of the beach, only problem is there may not be free WiFi so will have to catch up the weekend - hope I don't miss the start of launch ???
So I will end my comment with my usual hug for you Sue, and hope you have an enjoyable day xxx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, this is a gorgeously wonderful card to greet us today, looking forward to seeing the video in a while when hubby brings me my breakfast. I will have to see if I have got that background die as it look really good on here.

We are making Sue's shaker card tomorrow in my craft group so I am busy preparing and making 3 variations of the card to show them what can be done, it is always a pleasure to see what they come up with.

Elaine I hope Andrew has got over the bike ride and that they raised lots of money for such a good cause and that she gets to go to the States for treatment, sending hugs to the little girl xx

Tina T, I hope Peter had a much better nights sleep last night, it is such a worry for you all, hugs xx

Sending lots of healing hugs and thoughts to Tina and Mick (keep up that eating), Yvonne and her two lovely sons (you must feel so proud of them), Steph, Wheeley, Maria and Tracey, (hope you are enjoying your trip). Sorry if I have forgotten anyone.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Morning sue and crafty friends.

I do like the colours in this one. It's very pretty.
Looking forward to the new launch sue but I'll need to wait till after dare I say it???? XMAS
Lol there I've said it.

Going to see the giants causeway today and the scary rope bridge at carrick a rede in colraine. It's been 25 years since I was last there that's a scary thought but I'll get Graeme to take pics so I can look at them compared to back then lol.

Tomorrows plan will be a climb up slemish as its just along the road from where we are staying. I'll struggle to get to the top as I was a lot younger back then when I last did it but I need to take the last of dad up it.

Weather not quite as nice as yesterday but at least my belly is calming down after the horrendous ibs cramps and flare up. I didn't have my pills for it either so had to be driven into the town to go get some oh well hind sights a wonderful thing lol

See u all tomorrow thanks for all ur kind words and well wishes. Love to all and hugs for those who need them xx

Hi Sue
I could be wrong but I am sure you made this card on Hochanda. It's gorgeous and the colour combo is heavenly. All in all a masterpiece which will be on my list of cards that I must try and replicate - it is a long list. One day maybe I will get round to it x
As far as the sentiment is concerned well I thank you, me, wonderful? Gee you're too much. Lol x
Seriously Sue - YOU ARE WONDERFUL AND MORE x
I have been a busy bee. Dentists this morning. All fine apart from I stupidly booked the appointment for 9.15am. When the reminder text came through I tried to change the time but there were no other times left. My next appointment is wisely booked for a much more civilized hour.
I have just finished lunch with my next door neighbour but one. Marjorie was 95 yesterday so I invited her for lunch yesterday but she was lunching with someone else so she came up today. Some of you may remember me mentioning her earlier this year when she had a stroke. She is a remarkable lady. I made cheese and onion quiche which we had with salad and coleslaw and a Victoria sandwich cake which is her favourite. As it was her birthday I filled it with fresh cream instead of buttercream and raspberry jam. The party was a success, lol x
I am full (3 slices of cake was probably a little over the top)!! My cooking duties are finished for the day as I knew I was busy today so I planned ahead and made a chilli yesterday for the boys dinner today x
The only other exhausting thing on my agenda is a chat with Laine. Hey ho - I will do my duty and pretend I am interested in her. Lol - love you Laine x
Thank you for all your kind words folks. Losing your partner at such a young age is not something you plan for or anticipate.
When Steve died I remember a complete overload of emotion, then shock then complete dispair and feeling that I just couldn't and didn't want to go on. Then the mum in me kicked in and my sole purpose was to love and care for the boys. My grieving went on hold I suppose.
The situation was made worse as Steve and I had not married and as he had not left a will I was not entitled to anything. As a common law wife you have no rights in the eyes of the law. Everything went to the boys - the words salt and wound spring to mind!!
Do you know something - life is good. The things that happen in our lives are complete pants sometimes but life is good and far too short.
Steve and I were so incredibly happy for 21 years and for that I am so grateful. Of course if I could turn back the clock and change things then yes I would. I gave up trying to work out why me, why Steve, why our boys and why could it not happen to someone else a while ago. Trying to figure that out uses up far too much energy and I know I will never find the answer.
I have not changed. I am still the fun loving, loud, lucky person I was when I first met Steve. Still gorgeous (lol) and with a wicked sense of humour which Steve and I shared and got us into trouble quite a lot. In addition to these attributes I now have royal status and am the undisputed number one Wilsonette!! Great big lol x
I have not changed but my view of life and how I live my life has changed. Don't get me wrong I can be a miserable cow sometimes but I allow myself a bit of a cry and a little wallowing then try to give myself a kick up the backside.
Life and love are so incredibly precious and I am lucky enough to be blessed with both. I will always try and find something to make me smile even if it means laughing with or at someone else x
Oh my word. Have I just poured my heart out to a bunch of people I don't really know!! Lol x
This blog is just the best isn't it? It feels like such a warm loving family. Sorry to have gone on a bit. I think I'll close now through fear of sending you off to sleep x
Sending everyone lots of love x
Take care
Happy thoughts

We don't know what others are going through and I remember when Pam's husband Tim died so suddenly -can't believe it's two years ago Pam! Look after yourselves , both of you!
