Thanks For Being My Friend

Good Sunday morning all!  Today's card offering started with an embossed background using the Daisy Tiers embossing folder.  I cut four of the Ornamental Corner in coconut white card.  I nipped off the extra part on each to make them all symmetrical in shape and glued them into the four corners.  Next I cut the Classic Adorned Square Noble die out of raspberry card (from my stash) and I used the inside cutting die to create a frame.  I added mounting foam to the back and adhered it to the centre of the card.  I used the inside decorative die to cut the lacy die out of coconut white card.  I mounted it in the centre of the frame in a diamond orientation.  I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with the inside square die in the set.  I lightly inked it with Picked Raspberry before removing it from the die.  I cut a Refined Rectangle out of white card, and cut it down into a square and mounted the sentiment on it before placing them in the centre of the card.  I completed the card with a pierced white mat, a thin raspberry mat and a larger white mat.  The finished dimensions are 8" x  8" in size.

Now for this week's Comment Game winners.  They are:

Carole Z!!!
Kiraneries!!!
Pat S. Witney!!!

From the extra qualifying post of Wed. July 22nd, the winners are:

Helen Jones!!!
Kitty Davies!!!
Pat Aberdeen!!!

Congratulations all!  Please email me at americansue1@gmail.com to confirm your address and claim your prize.  All for now, Sue x

Sunday Smiles to you Sue. This sentiment is definatly returned to you from me for all the inspiration, confidence you give for me to try different techniques, and for being there.
These dies are just magnificent and help create the most amazing card that stands out proud..I know you have 'visions' when you sit down and design your new dies, but Id still like to know what comes first - the cards in your mind or the die design's however it all begins, thank God it does !
Off to market for the first time since April, and believe you me the nerves are way up high this morning (family had to come before market) over the past few months, but being away for this amount of time does nothing for the confidence : /
So I wish you a good day Sue whatever your plans.
And thinking of my closest friends here today.
Hugs.

Morning Sue
What a fantastic gift for those who are just a little awkward to cater for.
I really do appreciate your 'Noble' dies as they are so so useful but still
so beautiful giving wonderful results everytime they are used.
I have to say your background Efolder isn't one I know so I shall have to
do a little searching for it.
Your sentiment is returned many fold Sue. Thank you for all the inspiration and guidance you give to all crafters.

We are going to try and get round a brocante this week (not like last week when it turned into a tour of the Morvan National Park) and as it's only five mins down the road we should be OK.

Congratulations to all this week's winners. I know you'll all enjoy your prize.

To all in pain and suffering today I hope your day gets better. To everyone please take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.

Love the raspberry pink. It's a beautiful rich tone. Seriously need to have a stash sort as I do tend to use the same colours a lot of the time.
Thank you for being my friend Sue and everyone else's. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that we feel like your friend as you are such a welcome and big part of our lives. Hope you are having a wonderful time - especially with your mum.

Theresa and Alison - I'm very trying, lol. My quest will continue. I will battle on relentlessly x

Loopy Lynda - fantastic news that your daughter and grandson are home. Enjoy lots of cuddles x

Fluffy cat - can you believe it? I will persevere and will be rewarded one day. God loves a trier x

Magpie - what do you mean banter? I'm deadly serious x

Lorraine - Congratulations on your cheekbones but bigger congrats on your new arrival, the Canadian Collection. I can imagine the big smile on your face when it arrived which obviously showed off your cheekbones to perfection. If you would like me to put your name forward for you to become a member of the BCAS let me know x

Diane - everything still crossed - it will stop me having an accident if I get over excited x

Saba - it is the thought that counts x

Jackie - enjoy your cruise x

Quiet one for me today. House still untidy after the departure of my eldest and will have to remain that way for now. This week of wild partying has tired me out and got to say I can feel the fatigue trying to rear it's ugly head. Don't want to end up out of action - had a reasonably good run for a few weeks.

Good Morning Sue and the gorgeous Wilsonettes ,

What a beautifully simplistic card for today, it doesn't need any embellishments the die does all the talking and how much do I love this colour scheme! I will seriously need to get me some red toned card, especially with the big C just round the corner now.
I am fortunate enough to have these dies and I will definitely make a valiant attempt to recreate this little beauty at some point-it's very appropriate for any difficult customers ie men!
It's a lovely sunny day here in Stirling...well, for now anyway!....but I can't help wishing I was going to the market with you Janet in sunny Burgandy, it sounds lovely and I have a real weakness for proper, authentic French patisserie-our bakeries aren't a patch on yours.
Yvonne, I humbly accept your invitation to join BCAS, with my experience at blackmail, coercion and downright scullduggery I am sure we can corner the market in Sue memorabilia.
I have a quietish day today too, just a little housework to be getting on with and some cross stitch perhaps if I have time.
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend and huge congrats to the weekly winners, I was lucky enough to win a couple of months back and I am positive you will love your prize:-)

Lots of love and crafty hugs,

Hi Sue. Sorry I did not comment yesterday but I have had some kind of strange tummy bug and have been quite unwell. Today's card is really beautiful with the lovely strawberry card and your gorgeous Noble Square Dies !! I have been playing with your Square Ornate Pierced Noble Dies today and I have started making a man's card using your inlaid technique. I have used the inner square as a whole decorative piece and the outter dies to make a frame. I used the Vintage Silver card and inlaid pieces of red, white and blue card. So far it looks great. I am very pleased with it. Your Noble Dies are just fantastic Sue !! They are sooo very versatile !! I LOVE them !! I am definitely going to collect your New Noble Die Sets. If I can collect all three sets just think of all the loads of variations that are possible !! As one of our Wilsonettes said earlier some new circle or oval Noble Dies would be fab !!! I also love your Ornamental Corner Dies to. They are on my wish list. Thank you for sharing this fab card today Sue. Sending you lots of love from Tres x x x

Congratulations to all of today's lucky winners love from Tres x x x

Sending lots of love to all the Wilsonettes today from Tres x x x

Hi Sue

Love this, especially as it's my favourite of the Noble dies- the braid looks like a Celtic band. Thank you for another wonderful card! x

Congratulations to this weeks' winners x

Steph, I hope the market was successful for you x

Apologies for my absence, it's been difficult being busy and sleepy. Had an online shopping list as long as my arm this evening hence why I'm online so late. Wishing everyone a great new week. Hugs to you all,
