Imogen Triple Layering Die

Good morning crafters!  Next up is Imogen Triple Layering die. There are a couple of snowflake triple layering dies and this is the first one.  I wanted something a bit different, but unique enough to stand out and I think Imogen does just that!  Shown here against a backdrop of Paula done in Opal Polish, you can see just how pretty and unique she is!  She looks equally beautiful on her own or with other snowflake too (she plays nicely with others! LOL)  Just leave your comment and let me know what you think!  This isn't your usual Christmas card, but not everyone likes the same sort of thing so I thought I would share it for those of you that are rebels when it comes to your Christmas card palette!  The next post will be along at noon.  All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue happy Sunday. I like the way you've gone away from the festive theme. It may take a couple of takes before this sample grows on me but I'm looking forward to the background die getting its day because you've been slightly 'cheeky' and hidden it somewhat behind a couple of Opals.
Looking forward to the next post wandering what is next on your list. Have a lovely day xxx

Good Morning Sue. Lovely card...but I have to agree with Jan and Barbara V...More of a modern teenager festive card than the ones we are used to seeing...and of course there is the fact that SOME of us older ones still prefer the traditional Christmas Card. Beautiful sample today. Good luck with the new launch Sue. Someone is going to be very lucky. Sending best wishes to everyone. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds.

I think as long as the colours and design or type/theme of card especially will suit the recipitant then anything goes for the season.
Although I prefer more more traditional pure white snowflakes cards in scenes like villages or forests/woodlands, i'm willing to create the more magical fantasy look also of snowflakes. x

Hello Sue
You do like to challenge us to think outside the box, it might actually grow on me. Maybe I am with your help becoming a rebel

Hi Sue
Not sure about the colours, but lovely inspiration.
I have to say that I won’t use an eight pointed shape for a snowflake. But this die makes a great star.
Real snowflakes have six points.

Love the snowflake die and to my surprise the colour palette and like you say its a bit of rebel in this colour way, but just as easily changeable for the more traditional. The background die also is a bit of hit for me. Looking forward to the next post.

Morning Sue, The snowflake die is lovely, but I'm confounded by the dimple depression in the background on the craft card. Not my colours. A

I am not so sure about this card, I think I am more of a traditionalist when it comes to Christmas although I love the alternative tree die, but Imogen would be useful.

Helen Bell said...

Hi Sue

I really like this card and the colours you have chosen. I have to say I could see the snowflake used in lots of other ways, doubled up and offset with something over the middle and it would resemble a snowflake at all.
