Hi bloggers! I selected wisteria and white for today's card palette. I began by embossing a piece of wisteria card using the Honeycomb Haven embossing folder for texture. Next, I cut a multi layered frame using the Double Stitched Ovals. I added mounting foam too raise the frame for dimension. I cut the grid from the Alice die in white and attached it to a piece of wisteria card that was covered with a piece of sticky adhesive sheet. I added the frame over it then trimmed away the excess card. I used Frosted Sparkle glitterbitz on the exposed adhesive areas to add some bling. I added the frame with mounting foam to the centre of the background. I cut two of the Pierced flags and layered them and tucked the end under the oval frame. I cut the Noble Thanks in wisteria and glued it to the flag. Next I cut the Spiral Pearl Flowers using wisteria as the top layer, white and the middle layer and a base of white card with a sticky adhesive sheet attached. I assembled the flowers then sprinkled Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz on the exposed adhesive on the base. I attached the flowers to the edge of the frame and added white leaves and Splendid Swirls as accents. White and wisteria card mats and layers were used to complete the card. The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 8" in size.
To answer my own question, I think I would go for a bit of fun and frivolity and pick Stephen Fry (as I find him intelligent and interesting), John Barrowman,(as I think he would really make me laugh and he comes across as a nice person on talk shows) and Hugh Jackman( as I think he is quite cute and seems like he would also be very nice in person and I love The Greatest Showman!). I know it is a weird combination, but those three came immediately to mind! LOL All for now, Sue x

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
Hi Sue I like your choices, John Barrowman is lush conversation stops there lol and just how brilliant is The Greatest Showman boy can he sing, and a lovely face too, I think I'll move into your gorgeous sample before I get a reputation lol. Yesterday's post was really interesting Sue, so many of us choosing our family members.
Wisteria is such a calming colour but goes so well with many of the darkest of Foundation cardstock, but this beautiful delicate sample is so full of texture and sparkle, highlights the depth of both the folder and the design of your new flowers, it's more than a thank you card is a gift xxx
Good morning Sue, That is such beautiful card and colours, I love the wisteria. I love all the lay out. Vi Wilkinson.xx

Good morning Sue Lovely card the spiral pearl flowerso are so pretty and wisteria card always looks good I like your choice of dinner guests Sue
When I gave my selection I was thinking of famous historical people but if I was inviting current celebrities I would definitely have Stephen Fry as he would be such a good conversationalist also I'd have Michael Mcintyre because he's so funny & Michael Buble so we could have a single a long after dinner!
I love wisteria, beautiful card. You would have a riot at your dinner table with those you chose. I'm going to see John Barrowman in concert later this year, will let you know if he's as funny as he seems. Hugs. SNOOPY DOG 2 XXX

Another great card, love all the different elements of it.
Good morning Sue,
Took me a while to find your posting today as it wasn't in my in-box. I went back to yesterdays and pressed 'New Card' and here it is and another beauty. I love the colour combination and last time you used Wisteria I tried to buy some but couldn't find it. I will try again as it may stimulate me to get working in my craft room.
Hugs.

Hi Sue
Beautiful card today.
Sorry missed yesterday, but has been fun to hear everyone’s choices. Stephen Fry is an excellent choice. I’m keeping my choices close to my chest, but I can say that they would have intelligence, charisma, integrity and a sense of fun and maybe a little bit of mystery.
Hope you are now fully recovered Sue. I hope you will be on our screens very soon. X
Love Helen xxx
Hi Sue,
That card is so gentle and beautiful - I'm not violet person but this one appeals.
And I like your first 2 choices, but don't know anything about Hugh Jackman.
Hugs, Rose
