Hello crafters! Thank you for such a warm welcome back this past weekend! Sharing one of the cards from the shows, here is the Millie die. I started with a piece of Ruby card and cut an aperture in the middle with the
Millie die single cutting edge. Next I embossed the card with the
Eternal Ivy Embossing Folder for texture. I added mounting foam to the back and attached it to a piece of coconut white card. Next I recessed a cut version of the
Millie die down into the aperture. I cut the outer decorative edge die in black and glued it to the outer lip of the aperture. Using the centre die from the
Millie set, I cut it in white and added a ruby red card backing to it and attached it to the centre of the care with foam. I added the
Happy Birthday Shadowed sentiment in black with a white shadow. I made three tiny flowers using the
Petite Forget Me Nots set and added them around the sentiment. A multi layered frame was made using the
Double Stitched Squares and added over the card with foam. White, ruby red and black mats and layers were used to complete the card. The finished dimensions are 8" x 8" in size. All for now, Sue x

Such a stunning card this morning showing of the Millie die and mini sentiment. The embossed background and framing on the design all work beautifully together. I remember you saying about changing the colour and it does give a different feel.
It was lovely to see you back and I loved all the shows. The demos and samples were brilliant.

It was so sad to hear you explain how your blog numbers have dropped, I don't get it, Paul has a thousand plus members and the 'sister' group from round the globe also has so many members too, so why the blog numbers remain so low stuns me ! Good Morning Sue. Beautiful card today Sue. The colours.. the dies.... the design all very lovely. I couldn't catch the shows yesterday as we were packing .... getting ready to come home from our holiday in Hurgarda.
We arrived safe in the early hours of this morning about 3 thirty. Only had a couple hours sleep and now have to get myself back into my Monday routine at my line dance class.... which..... Hi Sue, it was so lovely to have you on our screens over the week-end, it is always a joy to watch you creating and we would love to see you more often. Today's card is striking and I love the design but do prefer the card you made in pastel colours although I know some will prefer these strong colours. You really do cater for all tastes.

The use of black and red make this a very elegant card.
Hope to do a concerted catch of your shows tonight. I spent most of yesterday emptying out the contents of my teenie kitchen ready for the kitchen fitter's arrival early this morning so wasn’t able to watch anything till late last night.

Hi Sue. I love today's beautiful card, using one of my favourite dies from your latest die release "Millie" !!! I think this die is one of your prettiest designs yet Sue. Lovely colours you have used but personally I prefer more muted/ pastel colours. Still, it is very bold and striking. Lovely sentiment dies and such cute little tiny flowers. I really loved all your fab shows on Hochanda yesterday. You made some truly stunning cards and gave us all some fab tips and tricks for using the dies. It was an absolute delight seeing my crafty hero on the tv !!! I really wish you were on tv more often Sue. I have to say I loved your card yesterday. Eliza is another die that I really love.
