Hi crafters! I love how the Scribbled glue technique mixed with some pixie powders really gives you a background that pops off the page, don't you?
The finished dimensions are 6 1/4" x 8" in size. All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue. I remember watching you have fun making these backgrounds years ago well before the HOCHANDA days and they still look good, but like Jan, not quite my style, although I have quite a few of the CS faux pearl glue as I call it, it's either gone all watery above the nozzle, or thick and gloopy so it would take time for me to get them working properly to achieve this kind of background but I'll enjoy watching you make it on the video layer. Have 'giggling Phill' on record to see what he comes up with using your new octagons so a great lazy day ahead lol.
Sending love and hugs your way xxx
Lovely card Sue x xhazel

Dragonswing, you can click on the ad on this blog to find one place that sells Sue's dies. The link takes you to Joanna Sheen's website, where there's a gallery of Sue's cards. If you select the shopping option from the list at left, you can view by manufacturer, so choose Sue Wilson. There's also eBay and other merchants.
Best to everyone,

I am going to play with some Pixied backgrounds today to use with your cocktail dies and stamps....maybe I will get to this one (?)
I hope everyone stays warm. Glad to hear your snow is gone. I remember as a child how I loved the stuff but now I think: driving (not), slipping and sliding in the yard, wet & frosty dog, etc. I have to say it is pretty to look at through a window and is SC it doesn't stay around.

Hello Sue
I enjoyed watching this technique but like a few others am not sure about it am really enjoying watching Phill using your octagon dies.
Such a different technique!
Thanks for the inspiration and the video on this scribbled glue and pixie powder technique. I have tried this after watching your video on YouTube after you posted it. I did four different color combination backgrounds. Still thinking about what I want to use as my focal element for these wonderful backgrounds. Pixie Powder techniques are so much fun.
Ooh very different! I like!!!

Hello Sue
Have just watched video and love this Scribbled Glue/Pixie Powdered Technique.
Personally I am not too keen on these particular dies but can see they would be great for a Man's card.
Looking forward to trying this with some of your other dies.

Hi Sue,
Haven't seen the video yet, but the scribbled technique I have never tried. I do like pixie
powders, so one day I will try this technique, most probably with my favourite butterflies on the front of the card.
Thank you for your ideas.

Such a lovely card Sue. The gold looks so good on blue.
Great video showing another idea for making a gorgeous pixie powder background.
Take care everyone.
Wow Sue this is awesome, love it. It brings to mind a totem pole, I know but dont ask. hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I love the background and I’m looking forward to watching the video. X
Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes.
I love the background you have created and I think it would be a good idea to create a few of them as stand byes for when a male card is needed. I'm so down in the dumps today but it always cheers me when you have put up a video. My Gemini die cutter has jammed and have no idea how to unjam it. The plates are 3/4 way through and the die has cut, the lights are on but not a sound from the motor. OH DEAR.
Marie P.
This is truely stunning! I love your background. It really makes the focal stand out.
It's so nice card!
