Happy New Years Eve to Sue and everyone, hope it is a good one and all very best wishes fir 2018 to all.
Gorgeous cards Sue all lovely and ending with a smile. , wonderful way to end 2917 which has been a suoer year fir you and us with your wibderful postings and die collections. Can't wait to see what you bring us in the Coming year. You are a very talented lady, dedicated to your craft and your blog followers and we love you for it, so thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Julia was superb as always, her Demos are amazing, her tips are so useful and she makes me laugh too. Good combination.
June, you sound better, hope your crafting was good. Lovely that your friend will join you on the craft retreat.
Donita I have the Baby Blue and the Spellbinders Sapphire, both small and mighty cutters and very easy to do what you want, where you want.
Helen, Lemon Top ice cream sounds so yummy. Next time in Scarborough I will look fir Jaconellies.
We had a lovely day in Sunderland yesterday, my nephew was delighted as he got the jacket he wanted with his Christmas money, in the sale too so he was a happy bunny. The Carvery was delicious there were 7 of us, today Lickety Splits and there will be 13 of us. Diane, room for a couple more. My SIL and nephew will be leaving tomorrow morning around 9am to drive back to Herne Bay in Kent and the house will be quiet again.
Elaine, my fervent hopes and wishes are for Andrew to regain his strength and health as I know that will give you all the best for 2018. He can do it, he is very determined. Love and hugs to you and him and all if the family.
May I pkease take this opportunity to wish each and everyone of you, health, happiness and heartfelt peace for 2018, you are an amazing bunch of people who I am very proud to be part of. New year hugs to all, esoecially our missing and poorly friends and their carers too.
To Tracey's Graeme and her family, I hope they have the strength to face 2018 in the knowledge that she is now at peace, no more suffering and disappointment but forever remembered for the lovely hapoy independent brave spirit that she was . She will forever be in their hearts as she will be in ours.
2917 where have I been, sorry folks my fingers are not very flexible this morning.
Good morning Sue. Happy New year's Eve to you and everyone. I wouldn't call it a break with tradition, I'd say it was a new tradition instead! Part of the reason I love your blog is that even when I don't have the "ingredients" you've used or I'm not a fan of the colour scheme, I can always get a spark of inspiration from you - whether it's a different way to use a die, or the layout of the card, so thank you again for everything you do.
I would like to wish everyone a very happy and healthy New Year. To those working tonight, I wish you a peaceful and safe night. Hugs to all. Sue xxx
Morning Sue.
Thank you so very much, Such lovely orphans.
I would pick all of them.
I would lke to wish you and all the Wilsonettes, a very happy and healthy 2018.
Take care and have fun Kitty.
Good Morning Sue
Pretty cards,I get lots of ideas that just don't work out so in the bin they go.
Enjoy your day.
Janx
Well Sue, good morning. What do I say about these samples above ? There's just one that I'm not sure about, and that's the last 1. Looks like you had just started to shade the stamp then your prototype dies arrived, you got engrossed with those then forgot to finish shading in the sample, but to have fewer cards either means your not as 'picky' which I doubt as you're such a perfectionist or your designs are making you do more 'happy dancing' either way if only my cards were as beautiful id be one happy bunny, honestly Sue, I think the human brain is so remarkable the way everyone of us will see something different in every sample. Like I've already said all but 1 really deserved to be showcased ☺
For whatever the reason people can't pop in tomorrow whether it be happy family visits, or a bad head (huh, no sympathy there for self inflicted illness) lol I hope you have fun times tonight and I wish you nothing but love, happiness and health for 2018 and a year of crafty achievements.
We find NY quite a sad time as you start to remember those you loved and lost, so on that note, I will also be thinking of Graeme and Tracey's family and friends who dread the year ahead, all the 'firsts' to get through, so I hope you can find the strength to get through those days with the love you share with your family.
As to all those that pop in and out, old and new Sue admirer's I wish you a wonderful New Year surrounded by happiness and health and who can forget ... brand new die collections ☺
Hope your day is a great one Sue wherever you are in the world and whatever your plans my love and hugs will find their way to you xxx
Well even though they didn't do it for you they have given me a few ideas Sue, so thank you. Have a great new years eve Sue, look forward to seeing more of you next year. Hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
wow fantastic and gorgeous cards Sue
gr karin
Good morning Sue,
These may have missed having their day on your blog but make a lovely selection to help us get inspired.
I can't believe we've reached the end of another year! Like so many people, it's been another very challenging one, so much so I'm not sending the traditional message instead I wish everyone an 'improved' new year.x
GM Sue. Great cards. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder they say. They all look great to me!HNY
Hi Sue,
I didn’t know about this tradition but I know that all are lovely cards and I can find some great ideas looking at these "orphans". Favourite? For sure the last one,Smile. But all I know is that what you create, even some don’t meet your expectations, your very high expectations, those cards still have your style. I easily recognize your cards on the net, out of those hundreds of cards. That means something, right? It means that you are Amazing and Fintastic! And I hope the coming year to be better than this one for you and your loved ones.
Dear Wilsonettes, what I want for me, I wish for you too: to be healthy, safe and happy!
Thank you for being my friends and thank you for making this blog a lovely community of caring people! Remembering Tracey in your posts proves that. She will be forever in our hearts. Let’s hope for a better year for us all.
Happy New Year’s Eve, everyone!
Still a newbie to Craft / not longer the newest, or the only across the pond Wilsonette
Carmen-Dorothy
I often seem to make cards that don’t do anything for me Sue. Sometimes all you need is to change the colours, the fourth one you are showing is my favourite but may look better in lighter colours. Still my favourite though. Wishing you a very happy and enjoyable crafting new year. Xx
Hello Sue and all
Happy new year to you Sue and all the Wilsonettes - I wish everyone a happy, healthy new year with lots of time with the ones you love (and crafting lol!!!)
Love the cards Sue, as you said some kind of miss something, not much at all in most cases, a bit more colour or a different colour card - but all are still full of inspiration.
I hope you are enjoying where you are and all other fellow bloggers
Hugs
Muriel x
Hi Sue - these cards may not be your favourites but I would have been perfectly happy had I made any one of these. I especially love the Smile card. I think the colouring inside the hexagon is beautiful and so different. Thank you for another fabulous year of beautiful cards and dies Sue and I'm looking forward to seeing what you bring us next year. Sending best wishes to all for a very happy and peaceful new year.
YvonneMayxx
Hi Sue, thank you for showing us your orphan cards. It makes me feel better about the cards I make and am not happy with when they are finished. Mine are not as good as these though, needless to say. Yours are all lovely, but as you say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Happy New Year to you and thanks for all your inspiration.
Barbara V
Thank you for sharing and thank you for another brilliant year of blog posts and wonderful inspiration. Wishing everyone a content and peaceful New Year xxX
Hi Sue, I don't think you could make a bad card if you tried. I'd be proud to have made any one of them and I'd display them lovingly if I was lucky enough to win.
Keep safe if you're out and about tonight everybody.
Love Val in Spainxxx
Hi Sue
Thank you for sharing your orphans. They may not be perfect in your eyes but they are still full of inspiration for me.
Happy New Year, wishing you good health, peace and joy.
B xx
Good morning Sue, love to see your orphan cards as always. They may not have reached your expectations but I think we can draw inspiration from them. I particularly like the Smile card.
Wishing you Sue, your family and everyone on the blog, a happy, healthy and peaceful 2018
Marion S x
Well they are not my favourite of your cards but they are still lovely, especially the butterfly, very effective
Nothing wrong with them Sue, we never always agree on things, to me theses are beautiful.... my favourites 4 & 6, why, I love the busyness of them....happy news years eve to you too Sue...enjoy whatever you are doing....luv Ursula xx
Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh Sue they are so lovely, everyone of us on your blog would be honoured to give these orphans a new home, to have a Sue Wilson original is a privilege and honour in itself, the one that shouts out to me is the Butterfly one.
Pam I reiterate all you have said, you always put it so well and in a nut shell. Pleased the carvery went well and today you have another outing enjoy.
I will take this opportunity to wish every Sue and her family and all us bloggers and our families a safe, healthy and very Happy New Year 2018.
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
Good morning Sue,
Everyone likes different things & especially your cards which you may not like someone will love. You give great encouragement to each & every one of us. I really like some of these cards & maybe a little tweek with others I would like them too. Yvonne xx
Happy new year everyone. I’m glad the cards you consider not your best get an outing.
Maybe not all are my favourite but all still lovely cards. As always they give others ideas and inspiration.
Great cards-I think each one will have a number of fans amongst your blog followers.
Michele
Morning Sue
Im glad you showed your cards some doulden't be my choice but still got some ideas from them .Happy New Year and thankds for your inspiration over the past year.
Catherine V94 xx
Morning Sue, I think we are all very critical of our own work, but other people don’t see the flaws in them. I like the first three in particular but the fish does nothing for me &I feel I received the last card in the post I would be getting my colouring pens out & be settling down to a spot of colouring! Lol! However we can all take inspiration from these so thank you. Wishing you all a Happy &Healthy New Year.
Hello Sue, happy new years eve to all. Nice to see your orphan cards on display, they all give inspiration and deserve an outing. X
Hi Sue,
Happy New Year!!
It's great to see the ones your not happy with and on the whole I would agree, but I'm not surprised that you've only got a few this year, as your cards are amazing!!
Enjoy!!
Krafty Runner x
Morning Sue. These maybe orphan but I like them all. We all see different things in our cards that we maybe don't like, but to others they are lovely.
I am glad you have had a lovely time with your family Pam, the house will seem quiet when they have gone.
This year may not have been particularly good for a lot of us but I wish everyone the strength to cope with the next year and hope it brings happiness and peace of mind. I too am thinking of Tracey's family and sending my love and prayers.
To you Sue. Thank you for all your hard work and inspiration this year and I wish you and Colin, and all your family a happy and healthy new year X
Love Rosemarie X X
Hi Sue,
I like the second card with the golden butterfly, the fourth (very) ornate black and gold number and I can see where you were heading with the partly-coloured Smile card...as for the others, although they didn't do it for you when you finished them I bet they provided a springboard for new "improved" versions which did have their day on the blog so the time you spent making them wasn't wasted was it?...
...and thank you for all the inspiration you have given us over the past 12 months, the new dies, fresh ideas and most of all this wonderful blog that we can share with you and each other whatever else is going on in our lives...
Izzy
Good morning Sue
Even if they didn't do anything for you it's given me ideas that I can take from them! I would like to take the opportunity to wish you, your family and all the Wilsonnetes a Very Happy New Year!
Hugs x

Dear Sue
What a thought, we are coming to the end of 2017 and how many cards have you actually made during the year? The orphan cards, just like when you show us the rest of your Christmas are always amazing.
I would like to wish you and your followers a very healthy 2018 and happy crafting.
With Love Michelle xxx
Good New Years Sue
All your orphan cards look good to me ,if i had to be really critical it would be card 3 the blue colour background is too dark for my taste .
Pam have another good day before they head for home ,it will be so quiet without them .
Andrew thanks you all for your kind messages and says" he will raise a glass to you all { although it be only Orange juice } at midnight , he wishes you all good health for 2017.
Echoing Pam again today as she has wrapped it all up so nicely
If you are out tonight please look after yourselves and have a great time .
Sue i wish you and all wilsonettes everything they wish for themselves .
Elaine H X
Hi Sue,
In comparison to the ones you have shown us throughout the year, I agree with you that they are not your best, but....... I bet anyone who received them would still be delighted. Thank you for all your inspiration throughout the year.
Pam pleased yesterday went well, have a fabulous time at Lickity Splits today but make sure you wrap up well it seems to be very windy at the moment!
I would like to wish each and everyone of you a very Happy, healthy and peaceful New Year and if you are out and about tonight, stay safe, love and hugs to you all, Alison xxx
Thank you for sharing all your ideas with us over the year, Sue. You give us all so much inspiration. Really looking forward to seeing what you bring us in 2018.
Happy New Year to you and everyone who follows your wonderful blog.
Anne (Northampton)
Good Morning Sue. It is an old saying that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, what suits one doesn't suit another.... and where would we be if we all liked or disliked the same. There would be no change there would be no blogs there would be nothing to compare anything with.... it would all be the same. Sue you bring something to all of us admitted we all love to craft.... but we all have our different subjects. You have certainly been an inspiration to me over the last few months that I have been following your blog, I feel I have better ideas after seeing your videos and hearing your tips... on how that little tweak on something makes the whole difference to a project.... I have been made welcome by lovely people who I now regard as friends. My morning cuppa is a whole lot nicer as I read this wonderful blog. Plus I got to be a winner on your die launch, that meant so much to me. Thankyou again.
Pam I hope all goes well with your op when it happens... Elaine I hope things will be better for you all..Graham I am thinking of you all.
To every one else Have a wonderful time celebrating.....
I wish you all A Happy Healthy New Year
Good Morning Sue!
I too have a box of cards not worth sending, but eventually I remove or add or add a Butterfly!
Thinking of Tracys family!
Wishing you Sue, your family and everyone on the blog, a happy, healthy and peaceful 2018
Love Marg
They may not be satisfactory to you and, it is possible that we might agree. However, in agreeing with you, we can look to see how we might change things and so these out-of-favour productions can still give us ideas and inspiration: a change of colour, a different embossing folder..........
I like both the butterfly and the smile cards as it happens!!
Teresa
Dear Sue and Wilsonettes Wishing for a Better New Year.
Oh yes, the butterfly speaks to me, too. I might swap out the black for a bluish green. I like the effect of the Daisy Circle inner die inside the treat cup, and Number 4 might just need more white. Stephanie Cotterill, you might already know and were just making a joke, but that's the spotlight technique. Usually the spotlight is smaller and round rather than octagonal.
Sue, not only are your runners up useful for inspiration, they're also worth studying for why they didn't pass muster. It's not immediately obvious to me why these seem lesser, or what the winners have that these don't, but I'm sure there are principles at work that an artist would know but the rest of us don't. Hard to figure out for somebody still challenged by how to color an orange to look round.
Izzy, what is a mangle? A blender? A garbage disposal? A mixer?
And thanks everyone who recommended little die cutters. It's nice to know they work.
I've learned that in this cold, one way to stay warm is to die cut for a while. I always have to take off my sweatshirt.
I, too, will be glad to see 2017 go, and hope for a better 2018.
The waiting is over. Alzheimer's finally released its grip on my mother on Saturday afternoon. Dad was holding her hand when she stopped breathing. I don't want to clog the blog with sadness, so I'll say that she was a difficult person nearly all her life, and for a while Alzheimer's actually improved her character because she forgot all her resentments. She didn't know who Dad was, other than that nice man who came to visit her, then she didn't know anything. Deep down she had a loving and caring heart, but life twisted her into all sorts of awful. Still she managed to give us a better start than she had. I'm feeling a great sense of peace, knowing she can no longer hurt us (I hope) and imagining her joy at coming into her true and beautiful self. Plus, I just had a lot of chocolate. Could I ask that if you feel moved to respond, could you do it by email to donita0622@gmail.com or on Facebook, Donita Naylor, with the picture of me peeking out from a slice of agate? Then we can start the new Particraft year with hope and delight.
The lovingness of this group already buoys me. You are some of the finest people in the world, and it's an honor and pleasure to be among you.
Wishing you everything good, and if it can't be good, then exactly what you need for growth. (Not talking to you, Andrew's rogue cells.)
Love,
Donita
Well, maybe not among the very best cards you have showed us throughout the year, but they still look good - and I really like the last one :))
Thanks for all the inspiration you have given this year, both cards and great videos, looking forward to much more in 2018 ;))
Wish you a happy and creative new year, Sue!
Good New Years Eve morning Sue
Well all I can say is that I wish my 'off day cards' were as impressive. I am so glad you decided to share x
I know I speak for everyone when I say you are an inspiration to so many. Your generosity is overwhelming and I am so happy to be part of your wonderful Wilsonette family.
Had an unexpectedly busy few days so apologies for not commenting. Won't bore you with the details x
Elaine - I hope that 2018 will be yours and Andrews year. I am sorry that Andrew has had this setback. He has done so well and am sure will continue this fight with dignity and determination. Big hugs x
My plans for New Years Eve are so exciting. I have a hot date with my pyjamas and am going to attempt to consume my bodyweight in chocolate! I have a friend joining me who will also take part in this pointless but oh so enjoyable task. Wish me luck folks x
I want to send everyone lots of love and I hope that 2018 will bring joy and answers to prayer for you all. My thoughts are with those who have lost loved ones especially our lovely Traceys family. Wherever you are and whatever you plans I send happy thoughts and much love x
Take care

Good morning Sue and all. Thank you for sharing your orphan cards , there still master pieces because they remade by you. We all make cards we not so sure about. May I wish everyone A Happy New Year and all the best 2018.
Crafty hugs and well wishes.... Wendy
Morning Sue,
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and your followers.
You orphan cards look good to me.

Hi Sue, if only my "orphan" cards were half as good as these, I like all of them, but I think my favourite is the Butterfly Blessings one. have a great New Years Eve everyone, enjoy whatever you do and stay safe. Bx
Lovely selection Sue. Have a great night if you are out celebrating! xxx
Morning Sue, I love all the details in the orphan cards, maybe the colours on some are not to my liking, but who cares, the inspiration you give to us each and every day is amazing, and I thank you for that. I hope you have a happy and prosperous 2018.
Pam I reiterate with everything you have said, and thank you as well for each morning when I open up the blog and read your comments.
Have a safe, happy and healthy new year everyone. xxx
Jess
Had I seen any of these cards on a normal day I would have thought - beautiful. However trying to look with a critical eye and see them as you would (I know that's almost impossible, but you did ask lol). My favourite would be the butterfly in black and white, and the only thing I could see wrong (maybe) would be for me the pearls on the butterfly look too creamy and need to be pure white to tie in. The only other I could find anything to complain (maybe the wrong word but I cannot think of another) about was the partial coloured one. I had to look deeply at this before I realised it was two different layers and maybe, just maybe another mat to give the upper layer a very slight separation would have worked better. I have tried to be honest and do as you ask Sue, but hope no one is offended by my comments as I would hardly like to put myself in anything like the same class as you - you amaze us all on a daily basis with your fantastic talents.
Wishing everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year
Hugs Helen xx
Hi Sue, I think some of them are lovely one or two not to my taste but everyone likes different things, but they are all very well made to your wonderful standard and my favourite is the butterfly. love Jean Z xxx
Happy New Year everyone
I do see what you mean SUE but I do like a couple of them especially the butterfly one I have a box full of cards that need “a something” beit a change of colour or an embellishment of some kind
Thanks for sharing your orphans with us; my
favourite is the butterflies, I know what you
mean, something isn't quite right!!
Happy New Year to all of you, thanks for being
there!
Doreen x
Hi Sue, I know what you mean, I quite like the butterfly one but not sure of the colour combination, but there are elements on some of the other cards that I like.
Would just like to wish you, your family and all at the C.C team a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year, and look forward to seeing what you have in store for us in the New Year.
Wendyx
Hi Sue, all lovey cards in different ways. I so love the butterfly card in black & white. Happy New Year to you and all on the blog.
No Sue and everyone
Sue I am sorry I have not commented regularly on your blog lately depression and other health issues get on the way.
I love your cards, the last one is my favourite as I love flowers.
I too am thinking of Tracey's family with love.
I am so grateful for all of you who have supported me this year means so much especially my besties you know who you are.
May 2018 bring you all health, happiness and all you wish for.
Elaine I hope Andrew succeeds in beating the gremlins.love and huggles to you all 🎉🎈🌸❤
Poor orphan cards! OK they are not all to everyone’s liking (although I’m sure there’s not many) but I bet that there is not one in this group which somebody somewhere doesn’t like! There is also probably a favourite card of all time to someone. Whatever anyone feels, there is a lot of inspiration there.
Happy New Year to you Sue and everyone of your blog family. May 2018 bring you everything you wish for but most precious of all - good health!
Doreen R
I think we all have "those" cards that we think are not quite right, I have one on my craft table right now that I am struggling with! I particularly like the black and gold one.
Stay safe if you are out and about tonight, and wishing you all a Happy New Year.
Rosemary xx
Good New Years Eve morning everyone, another excellent selection Sue, ‘cause even if they don't work first time for you, they always inspire lots of other ideas anyway and I've a load off those little "orphans" sitting around too! Xx
Hi Sue
Happy new year to you and your family, I hope you have a wonderful time wherever you are. Oh I do love it when you show us your not quite perfect cards, makes us realise you are so talented but are just like us! I love the butterfly card and with a couple of tweaks can see a lovely card in there. I can't believe we missed stick pins and ribbon though! Haha. Thank you for sharing. Wishing everyone a happy healthy and safe new year.
Love Diane G xxxx
Pam enjoy that ice Cream! Echoing your comments today and sending you a big hug. Thank you for keeping us all going. Xxx
Elaine sending you a hug too. Xxx
Donita oh my sweetheart, sending you a big hug and a big bar of chocolate xxxxxx
Hi Sue,
I like the fourth card but I would not use black. This card would look just as good with a different colour teamed up with the gold.
Happy New Year to all. I hope that everyone has a peaceful and happy 2018.
Regards,
Evis M.
Happy New Years Eve Sue and all the Wilsonettes,
We all have cards that didnt just look right when finished but I bet there is a card on here for everyone.
I reiterate all Pam has said above and send love and healing hugs to those that need them, I hope you all have a lovely healthy peaceful happy 2018
Sending all my love to all of you
Have a great day
Love
Sharon

Happy New Year all, I'm busy preparing for a 'bit of a do' here tonight, only a dozen people for a sit-down feast.
I can see why some of these cards are 'orphan' but I really do like the second one with the raised butterfly.
Hi Sue. I do have to agree with you that people's tastes are so different. Sometimes I make a card that I am so pleased with and nobody else likes it and on the other hand I am often surprised when people like cards that I am not too sure about. Although these cards didn't make it to the blog, there are bits of all of them that could be taken to other designs.
A very Happy New Year to Sue and all the Wilsonettes and I hope you all enjoy your celebrations tonight.
Lisbeth
Hi Sue
HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone!! I don’t like these cards Being called orphans!...it implies that they are unloved!! 😕 my favourite is the butterfly one! No surprise there!! I seriously can’t wait to get my craft stuff back out...I am having withdrawal symptoms!! I had to pack it all away early December because I use the dining room table...well & the whole room really! So it was quite a task! Once New Year is done I can start to get everything out again!! I think being realistic....maybe Thursday or definitely by the weekend!! Hee hee 😀
Have fun everyone!! And stay safe!!
Much love
Sam
xxxx
Hi Sue, the 2nd and 4th are my faves but I do think parts of the others are really useful. Happy and Healthy New Year to you and your familyxx
Hi Sue,
I can't say there is anything unlovable about any of your "orphans".
My favourite is the last one with the half coloured flowers. It reminds me of the detailed colouring books that are so popular.
Thank you for sharing.
Véronique L
I have a desk full of "orphans" too, but I never suspected that YOU did!

Orphan cards or not - they are still great for inspiration and I have to admit the fish bowl one is my fav...Thank you for sharing such a fabulous range of posts and die offerings over the past year and can't wait to see what the new year brings us....Wishing you and the team a happy and healthy new year....
I certainly have off days. Or is it "off" cards. Anyway, it happens. I have learned to put the "not so perfect" card away for awhile and then go back to it, sometimes months later. Most of the time, it looks better to me at the later date than when I made it. I have decided the difference between what looks good to me and what disappoints me about one of my designed cards is when the card design does not come out as I had it in my mind. Really nothing wrong with the card. It just did not come together like I thought it should come out. My favorite of your orphaned cards today is the "You're Amazing" card. Now why did that one become an orphan?
Sue i think we all make a card and then are not happy with it when finished but
i have say all of your orphan card are gorgeous. My favourite is the last one with the smile sentiment.
I would like to wish you and your family a happy, healthy and very crafty new year.
Thank you for all of the wonderful inspiration over the last 12 months and certainly looking forward to the next 12 months.
The cards are orphans I'd be happy to find a home for! At least you have kept them to share with us and I'm sure we can still find lots in them to get inspired by.
Good afternoon Sue and everyone

Hello Sue
I have been waiting all week for your orphan cards to appear and you haven't disappointed there are elements in everyone and it makes us feel better about ourselves knowing you can produce cards that are not quite perfect.
Rosemary lovely to see you back.Donita extra special huggles and extra chocolate.
To Sue and all the wonderful wilsonettes a happy, healthy and crafty new year
Hmm.The orphaned card collection. I can see why all but number four would be classified by you, Sue, as not worthy. If I made any of them, I would be proud but your standards and abilities are much higher. As many have said previously, most could be "repaired" in some small way or perked up with a change of colors. We have a hard time finding fault with any of your cards.
Happy New Year to everyone here. We will wish for a better 2018. Donita, chocolate is comforting. Elaine cheers to Andrew, clink his orange juice from us.
Hugs,

I would also be happy to give these Orphans a home. I am sure we all have orphan cards at sometime or other. I do like the butterfly and Smile cards. Thank you for shar8ng these with us and I wish you a very Happy 2018. June so glad you have enjoyed the last few days with your family. I am sure the house will be quiet tomorrow morning. Met up with No. 2 son and family yesterday at a National Trust property. Was lovely to see them. I didn’t like going home to an empty house though. Hope you get your op very soon Pam and 2018 will be a better year for you. Elaine I hope you and your family have a better year next year and Andrew will be a lot better. Thinking of absent friends and remembering Tracy’s family. Happy and Healthy New Year to all.
Hi Sue
I would be a happy bunny if my cards looked as good as yours, even the orphan ones, I do love the clean and simple look of the second one. Thank you for everything you do, this wonderful blog giving so much inspiration, your great videos where we learn so much and not least your fantastic dies. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us in 2018. Wishing you a very happy New Year
Pam echoing you as you say it all so well and wishing everyone a better new year filled with happy crafting.

Happy New Year to you Sue and to Everyone !!
Beautiful Orphan cards, I would make sure that one or two
they got to some new lovely homes and the rest would stay
with me for a long time. Have a wonderful new year 2018 !
New year wishes to you all and thoughts to all who no
longer with us
Warm hugs Maria x
Hi Sue, sorry I am so late but I have been tucked up on the sofa for most of the day drinking Lem-Sip and sleeping. I am sorry but card no.1 does nothing for me but I love Nos. 2,4,5 & 6. I think no.3 just needs something to lift it a little. Having said that, I wish some of my cards looked as good as your orphans.
Donita - sending you hugs for now but will mail you when I am feeling more human.
As the witching hour is fast approaching I will wish everyone a very happy, peaceful, healthy, prosperous and crafty New Year. I will raise my virtual glass to everyone especially Tracy's family.
Frances
Happy new year to everyone l like the second one with the butterfly the best. Although all have something appealing to them even if the finished card may be a bit off. Laura O Springfield
Just re-read my comment and saw I had referred to Pam as June. Sorry about that to Pam and June.😟
Good morning and a Happy New Year to you and your Blog Followers, Sue.
Can hardly believe a year has passed since we last saw a batch of orphan cards!
It would be very strange if we all liked the same style or colour of cards and I can only say there is not one I dislike although I might have changed a message or two or put something bobbing on the ocean that we could see through the porthole!!
It is time to go to bed so I send all my Good wishes for 2018 to you all!

If I only had just six cards in a year that I wasn't entirely happy with I would be ecstatic. These little dears have plenty of fans on the blog. My favourite is the Smile card.
My very best wishes to you, Sue, your family and to all the Wilsonettes for a happy, healthy and peaceful New Year. Elaine, special thoughts to Andrew hoping that 2018 brings better health. Donita, sending you a big bar of virtual chocolate.
Take care everyone.
All lovely cards. It’s strange though as I can look at some of my cards and not be happy with them and someone will want a card at short notice and go through my box and sat it’s “one of your best”
We all have different tastes and look at things differently
Happy New Year to everyone. Hope 2018 is a good one for you all
Luv

HAPPY NEW YEAR Sue ans all the Wilsonettes.
I do wish that I knew how to change 'settings' (If that is the problem) as I never get these postings until the day after . Better the day after than not at all. I have so enjoyed being a member of this blog as it's the first thing I look for when I log in to my PC.
I would feel proud to have made any of your orphan cards and I'm sure that they would all be able to find a forever home if you put them up for auction (LOL)
My eldest Daughter lives in Wisconsin and she called me on Skype just before midnight so we sort of welcomed the New Year in together. We do chat every day at 12.30 p.m. my time which is 6.30a.m. her time. I do appreciate it because she is often the only person I speak to in the day.
My Great Granddaughter who was due on Dec 29th. has not arrived yet so perhaps she will be a New Year baby..
I send hugs to all who need them and to those who think they don't need them too.
Bye for now.
Marie P.
Another great selection. Thank you Sue and all the best for 2018.
Hi Sue,
No. 2 is stunning (in my mind) and all the others don't deserve to be called orphans (also in my mind) as they are lovely. Apart from one and that is the technique more than the card - I could never warm to it when I did it so I've stopped doing it. That's where you colour only one or two areas, be it flowers, leaves etc....
But you know what they say......... one man's meat is another man's poison...........
Hugs, Rose
Happy New Year Sue
I love the second one of your orphan cards
June x
so wonderful cards!
