The wholesale trade show is now finished and behind us but the response to Tatty was incredible. You will soon be seeing her in your local craft and stamping stores. I thought that I would show you another of the card samples that I made using her. I've gone for a classic red, white and black colour scheme on this one. I think it is very striking. The window is a separate element in the range and I stamped Tatty out, coloured her and cut her out but only used the top half of her so she looks like she is leaning out the open window. It is difficult to see in this pic but I used our brick embossing folder behind the window to look like part of the wall. The window has been cut out also and the shutters are folded slightly upward so they look very 3 dimensional in real life. I just need to get a camera now that will photograph it well!
I've had to take a short break on my Tatty Button samples as I am working on my demos for the nine POTW shows that I'm doing starting on March 4th! I'm about half way through now with less than a week to go (the pressure is on!). Let me know your thoughts on Tatty! Back to work now, Sue x

Tatty Button!
Meet Tatty Button! Tatty is the work of one of our new artists, Ange Lee, from Birmingham. We have just released the first of her line this week at Stitches. The response has been amazing too! What I love best about Tatty is that she lends herself to so many styles of stamping. Here I have shown her a very shabby chic look that I am personally quite fond of, but she can also be made to look very vintage and of course, quite cute too. I think there is a lot of appeal here for everyone. You will just have to let me know what you think of her, okay?
There is one day left to go at the wholesale show (Stitches) this week, but I promise to post more samples of Tatty once we are done there. On another quick note, I'll be doing the POTW beginning March 4th. I'll pass on the showtimes as soon as I have them for you. All for now, Sue x

Hogs and Kisses!
I'm back from my trip to California for CHA and an extra week there spent with my daughter. I came back with all sorts of new products and ideas and one thing that I didn't want to bring home with me. A great big nasty cold! Thus the reason for the lack of blogging since I've been back. Well not the only reason, though, I've been getting last minute samples done for our big wholesale show here called Stitches. It is next weekend and I am not allowed to show any of the new releases until then. So I'm afraid that I just have some samples from the Funny Farm show left to show you for a while! It seems like ages ago since I made these too! The first card is all about the cute and colourful! I rather like this cute chap as some days I feel just like him! In case you are curious, that border is not a punch but rather a Spellbinders border that I put around all four sides of the card. It's one of my favourites, but for the life of me, I can't think of the name of it!
The second card is my take on cutesy images done in a sort of vintage style. I just loved that funky background paper! Well I hope these will tide you over for a few days until I can start showing some of the fun new stuff that I have been playing with! Soon, I promise! All for now, Sue x
