Good Sunday morning all! I thought I would share my message in a bottle card today. I was trying to make it look like it was bobbing up and down in the ocean, but I couldn't resist putting a small ship inside of it either. LOL It is just barely visible under the dew drops I used in the shaker. I started by inking a light cloud background then cutting an aperture in a piece of coconut white card with the Message In A Bottle Die. I filled my bottle treat cup with some dew drops (from my stash) and sealed it with acetate. I added my small ship (it was actually from the Little Treasures die set) to the piece I removed from the aperture, then I glued it to the back of the treat cup behind the acetate. I cut several of the waves from the Nautical Accessories die set out of differing shades of blue and glued them across the card. I cut the sentiment from inside the Porthole but cut away the outer ring and glued it to the top of the card. I added several seabirds to the sky from the Island Paradise die set. The card was finished with white on white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 8 1/2" in size.
