Dear Sue and Happy Crew,

The wreath looks better above the fireplace than hanging on one corner, I think.

Today was a big win for me, too, because my launch order arrived. So did a technician who cleaned and tuned my oil burner, and a chimney sweep added me at the end of his day. And none too soon. After being hot all week, today it finally turned chilly. I am so relieved that I'll have heat and won't have to replace the furnace. But after cleaning off the steps, the laundry/furnace area and a path to the oil tank, I could not imagine working, much less getting downtown, dealing with people and getting home. How do people keep up with chores and bills and trash day and keeping the car registration current, the septic tank pumped, the water filter on the fridge changed? Not to mention laundry and dishes. The chimney sweep guy commented on my untended yard. "Looks like it's been a while since you mowed," he said. I told him I was letting the deer keep it how they like.

Congratulations again to all the winners.

Crafty luggles.

Lovely card today but will have to watch the video later along with the rest of the catching up I have to do. We've just got home from our trip to Germany. We have had a fabulous time and the weather has been wonderful but we found out the reason that our mobile usage is now free in Europe. We just couldn't get a signal very often - even in places we've not had a problem with before. I've had a quick look at the cards I've missed but haven't managed to catch up with everyone's news yet. I have to say I've missed some wonderful cards while I've been away and must prioritise which of the new dies I can afford to buy.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Sue for pulling my name out of the hat for one of your new die sets. I was so surprised and delighted to see my name on the list. Congratulations to all the other winners too and commiserations to those who didn't win this time. Congratulations too to the blog candy winners and also Carolyn on winning this weeks card giveaway.

Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

What a lovely variation on yesterdays card, i really appreciate a video demonstration of the technique because i always prefer to watch a card being completed rather than reading instructions, it seems to sink in better that way:-)
Congrats yet again to yesterdays winners, particularly dear Elaine, what a massive pick me up for you, and of course Carolyn the lucky winner of that beautiful stained glass ensemble, enjoy everyone:-)
Had a super busy day today so i have admittedly just skimmed through today's comments, sorry peeps:-(, i have literally just sat down to watch Strictly on my Sky+ box and i plan to enjoy it with a citrus Diet Coke while sucking on some sour choice of refreshments, don't do wine anymore except on special occasions, giving my liver a well deserved rest after my VERY wild student days when i was barely sober!
Rosemary honey, hope you're enjoying the show and your wine, just seen Aston and Jeanette and I think they might be my favourites this year, my Mum tells me that the others have been rubbish so far but she thinks she's the female equivalent of Len Goodman....with the only resemblance being the grey hair, nasal hair and age!:-)
That's me for tonight honeys, short and blissfully sweet as I rush off to catch up on the next dances and X Factor boot camp....oh, can i handle all this excitement so soon after the blog draw?:-)
Wishing all my blog besties a very lovely weekend, hope the sun shines wherever you are and happiness abounds, big hugs and kisses to allxxx

Love and crafty hugs

Hello Sue,
Thank you sooo much for the video as this was a demo I missed on Hochanda! I won't mention Virgin .Media again!! Lol!!
There is nothing quite like an open fire - is there! My younger son has two - lucky him - but he bought a log basket for one which is impossible to carry when full! As his lovely wife said - should have dealt with that myself !! Yep! I don't blame her at all - he came home with it all pleased with his purchase !!
Sue - it's your attention to detail which amazes me constantly! Have just had delivered today the Poinsettia Corners! I love Poinsettias and felt I really needed those !!
Congratulations to Carolyn - you won a real beauty! Enjoy!
Donita - you need more than scissors to deal with a lawn you know!! Lol! It's hard keeping up when at work but when you retire you can't move quite so fast!!
Elaine - I'm glad that you're glad that we're glad!! x
Dragonsnap 2 - thanks so much for your commiserations! However we are all winners here and chuffed to bits for those who win!
Saba is on the last lap home! So far so good! Laughs on the way but it wouldn't be my lovely friend without laughs on the way! I'm being nice today!
PP - where are you! ? Did helping your neighbour take too much out of you? Look after yourself please! x
Laine - miss you too! Hope you are feeling a wee bit better! x
Love to all friends on the blog,
Myra ( Friend of Maureen!!)
