Autumn Greetings

Hello bloggers!  For today's card, I cut a piece of milk card and embossed it with the Basketweave embossing folder.  Next I cut three circle frames using Jamie Rodgers Plain Circle dies.  I added mounting foam to the back and attached a backing piece of milk card to each of them.  I cut Millie the Mouse, Hazel the Hedgehog and Bailey the Bunny all in shades of grey card.  I assembled each of the characters and added some detail with a fine lined felt tipped pen.  I cut a bunch of tufts of grass, both the large and the smaller one out of greens and some from the Enchanted Sprinkles card I made.  I added the grass tufts to each of the circle frames first, then carefully added the animals.  Bailey the Bunny had to be cut down a tint bit to fit.  I cut the Autumn Greetings sentiment out of the Enchanted Sprinkles card.  I glued the sentiment to a milk card backing and added the outline around it.  I added it at the bottom of the card.  I cut two of the petit butterfly and added them to the top corner of the card.   All the frames were added with mounting foam too.  The card was completed with milk mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 3/4"  x  8 3/4"  in size.

Hello crafters!  I have a sweet Sydney card to share today.  I started by cutting the Autumn Wreath out of some card I made using the Enchanted Sprinkles.  I used all the autumnal colours for it.  I added acorns to the wreath from the Sydney the Squirrel die set.  I cut the Autumn Wreath a second time but this time it was out of card made with Pale Olive Pixie powders from my stash.  I nipped the wreath apart into a couple of sections and used it as side borders and glued them down the sides of white card.  I glued the wreath to the centre of the card and cut and assembled Sydney using several shades of brown and tan.  I added her to the bottom of the wreath.  I cut the Best Wishes sentiment out of tan card and added it to a white shadow backing with a dark brown trim around it.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x 8 3/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Peace On Earth

Hello there my crafty friends!  I just love all white cards, but they are always very hard for me to photograph too.  I started with a piece of white card and used the outer die from the Nostalgic Bauble Octagon for an aperture.  I glued another piece f white card behind it.  Next I cut the 2026 Christmas Angel out of both milk and white gloss card.  I cut the milk die cut as the base and coloured the hair with pencils.  I nipped away the dress on the white die cut and glued it to the base angel.  I added the wings, cut in white then glittered with Diamond White glitter to the angel then added her to the aperture with mounting foam.  I used Fluffy Stuff on the bottom of her gown and heated it to puff it.  I cut the Peace on Earth sentiment from the Festive Wordie sheets and added it at the bottom of the card with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  7 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hope Your Day is Full of Sunshine

Hello bloggers!  Today's card is one of the last Beach gals cards and it is a really easy one too.  I started with a piece of arctic blue card and cut the sand twice from the Palm Beach die set.  I cut each of the Beach Bathers out of milk card and used markers to colour them.    I added straw hats to each of the girls with matching ribbons to their swimsuits and a small flower instead of a bow.  I cut the small sun out of yellow card and tipped the edges with spiced marmalade ink before gluing it in the upper corner.  I cut the plane out of blue and added the banner cut from milk card.  I used a fine tipped felt pen to trace the lettering on it, then glued it across the sky.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 5"  x  6 1/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Merriest Christmas Wishes

Hi bloggers!  I started today's card by embossing a piece of white card with the Falling Snow embossing folder.  I like that it also looks a bit like stucco so it is good for an outside wall too.  I added a wide strip of dark grey card along the bottom of the card and scored it to look like wood.  I ran a piece of grey card across the two as a divider.  Next, I cut the Window die out of white card and added mounting foam to the back of it.  I created an indoor scene with a blue and white stripped paper to look like wallpaper.  I added the chimney with three stockings and a fire below in the fireplace.  I cut the tree from the Window Scene die and added silver garland and gold baubles. I used Fluffy Stuff on the tops of the hung stockings and heated it to puff them up.   I added a matching wreath above the fireplace, with a red bow.  I cut the Coronet Lace die in white and added it at the top inside of the window as a valance.  The window die was added to the scene and then to the background.  I cut the Merriest Christmas Wishes sentiment in white and shadowed it in black, then glued it under the window.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  9"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Autumn Greetings

Hello there my crafty friends!   For today's card, I used an older die called the Birch Tree Forest.  I cut it with a piece of grey card and moved it across and cut it a second time for a longer panel. I glued it to a white backing piece.  I cut the two larger mushrooms from the Autumn Harvest die set out of taupe card for the base and dark grey and brown for the tops.  I cut the smaller one out of dark grey and brown.  I added them to the background forest and used some tufts of grass around them.  I also cut some fern fronds and leaves to add around them as well.  Using the Double Pierced Rectangles, I added a wider white frame with a thinner brown frame on top of it around the scene.  I cut the Autumn Greeting sentiment in brown, shadowed it in black and glued it above the mushrooms.   I cut and assembled Millie the Mouse and added her onto the corner of the frame.  The card was completed with brown and white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  8 3/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Season's Greetings

Hi bloggers!  It's black, gold and white for today's card.  I started with a piece of black card and I matted it with white and gold mirror card.  I cut the middle die from the Holly Wreath Octagon out of gloss black card and glued it to the middle of the background.  Next I cut the centre die out of gold mirror card and backed it with black gloss card and added it to the middle of the card.  I cut four of the corners from the Christmas Embellishments out of black gloss card and glued them to each of the corners.  I cut the Season's Greetings sentiment from the Festive Wordie sheets and added it to the bottom centre of the card with mounting foam.  I added the entire card to a wider mat of black gloss card before finishing with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  7 1/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x
