You Are The Best

Hello crafters!  It is a day to showcase the Victoria die set from the latest release.  I started this card by cutting the inner decorative die only from the Victoria on each side of a piece of wisteria card.  I backed it with black card to show through.  Next I cut three more of the Victoria but this time in white and using the outer cutting edge with it.  I used two of the three and offset them slightly on the sides so there is a shadow from the wisteria card.  I backed the last one with wisteria card, then cut another solid backing in black that I used as a shadow.  I attached the third one with foam in the centre vertically.  I stamped my sentiment and added it to the centre with an offset black mat.  Using the Ecliptic Edger, I cut two extended lengths in white and added them to the top and bottom edges of the card.  I ran a strip of pearls along the edge of the wisteria card.  White, wisteria and black mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x  9 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, wow what a beauty today, love the wisteria colours but the dies really do make it pop, love the eclipse edger too, gives a lovely finish to the edges.

Pam I reiterate all you have said. you do make me laugh with your comments, I too had my flu jab last Friday but so far no ill effects at all.

Morning Sue. My screen is full of elegance and beauty. It's the American Smooth of samples, serene, calming, and dreamy. I love how you've showcased this gorgeous collection, and the Edger gives such a delicate look. I'm really looking forward to seeing lots more samples made with your brand new collection.
Starting the week with love and hugs coming your way, and you are defiantly the best in my opinion xxx

Hello Sue and all

It is hard to believe that the main part of this card is all made with one die - it is just lovely and the edger sets it off beautifully. Colours are great too.
Daylight saving has started here now so I am waiting until 4 pm for our blog and soon it will be 5 when you cease your daylight saving, it is odd commenting so late in the day when you are all just getting up.
Have a good week

Dear Sue and All My Card Cousins,

(I actually do have a cousin named Sue Wilson. My dad liked Sue's Facebook page, but I think he thought he was being nice to Mom's niece.)

Victoria is a classic beauty. I'm amazing that if you change the backing color and the orientation, it looks like a different design! I'm amazed that you have already done so many classic designs, the kind that look inevitable, and yet you keep doing more.

I couldn't see the wisteria as anything but gray, but it still looks fabulous.

Gina, glad you piped up! Say something again.

Saba, thanks for your portraits of the coast and mountains.

Muriel Kelly, I had to count the lines on a time zone map of the world to realize you're in Australia, or thereabouts. I'm five hours behind, so when Sue posts the new blog, it's 1 a.m. on the East Coast of the U.S. and Canada.

How can it be Monday again already?

love,
Donita

Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

A stunning card Sue, love the simplicity and elegance....amazing what one exceptional die can create.
Had the Sky engineer and his boss here this morning for over four hours fitting our new Sky Q boxes, they are fabulous, the picture is so crisp and the broadband is super quick....its fantastic how you can pause a programme on any one of your boxes and watch it from that point on any TV, tablet or phone in the house....technology is coming on leaps and bounds, it wont be long before things become too advanced for my feeble brain to deal with:-) i can even talk to my remote control and it brings up whatever i ask for in Sky's archives....lets hope it understands a west of Scotland accent!:-)
Tracy, congrats honey, i am so pleased for you:-) i can't believe that its been two years though! Wishing you all the best with your IVF treatment and your bright futurexxx
Carmen, sorry to hear that you're feeling poorly, hope the symptoms relieve soon and you're back to your sunny self. Sending hugsxxx
Rosemary, how disappointing that your friends have reacted this way, maybe they just don't know how to deal with the news....epilepsy can be very scary to witness, maybe they are afraid and don't know how to express it to you......chin up though, plenty of your friends on the blog are there for you every step of the way:-) I know how it feels, ive had many friends disappear when my own health failed, it can be a crushing blow but its better to know where you stand i feel. Hugsxxx
Sending cuddles to all of my blog besties and anyone who needs a hugxxx

Anne I hope you get a flight home without too much disruption.
Donita, you made me laugh, thank you.

Gina welcome to Sues amazing blog.
Elaine, I'm preparing myself, it's not only Myra I'll have to contend with but most of the other members of the gang too!

For sure you have more ideas how to use this die set and you'll share those ideas with us because you know that we need you to inspire us. Thinking outside the box is not easy and when you have a headache like I have for the past three days,it is impossible. So I relay on you, as always :)

Dear friends, thank you all for your good wished. Not the sore throat and the cough are the worst part, but the headache. And on top of this we have inventory, so dead or alive I have to go to work and spend at least 8 hours in a cold boardroom.I hope tomorrow will be warmer than today and hopefully we'll finish inventory by the end of the day.

Wish you all a great day,
