Go Wild

Hello all from myself and a cheeky little monkey (often one in the same!) LOL  I cut a square of coconut white card and cut two cloud apertures out of it using the Twinkle Twinkle Cloud and Stars die set.  I added mounting foam to the back to raise the aperture.  On a separate piece of coconut white card, I used a hand cut cloud to stencil in a cloudy sky background using Tumbled Glass and Stormy Sky Distress inks and I added in some lighter clouds with the White Cloud colour cloud ink.  I attached the aperture over the background, then offset the clouds taken from the aperture with some vines coming from underneath them.  From the Cheeky Monkey die set, I cut one monkey out of tan card and inked through the die with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide to put in the tummy ears, and mouth.  I hung him by his tail off one of the vines.  I attached this entire piece to another larger piece of coconut white card and cut the two sentiments from the set out of tan card.  I glued the go wild into the top cloud aperture and added the cheeky monkey to the card below.  The card was completed with white on white mats.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  8" in size.  All for now,
Sue x

Beautiful card Sue, gorgeous, that monkey is so cute. I too got an email about the new launch, they do like to steal your thunder don't they.
Phil was brilliant on Hichanda with your dies last night. He and Leonie couldn't stop laughing all the way through but he still managed to produce some beautiful cards.
Myra, my King of the Grill and The Tool Bix dies arrived yesterday, they are gorgeous
Little lamb well done to your granddaughter, I was in such a rush yesterday. Do we have a budding Torville there.
Lynne, bless your little granddaughter, she must have had such a good time she didn't want it to end.
Carmen the vacation sounded fabulous. Hope hubby is well on the mend.
Elaine, so happy to hear Andrews rash us improving, fingers crossed that his treatment can go ahead.
My pre-op didn't go well. My blood pressure was too high so I had all the tests and was sent to the GP for meds to bring it down, had to deal with a sarcastic receptionist as surgery had been open 1 hour and there were no Appts. Git one fior nurse later in day, and she wanted a repeat appt in a week, receptionist said no appointments for 3 weeks and I lost it. Seriously thinking about changing my doctors, it is ridiculous. I now have to go back to hospital for bloods as they don't have a nurse to take it. Also have to see an anaesthetist on Halloween lol.
Hugs to all, that's my moan over. Thinking of all our poorly and missing friends.

Good morning Sue. Fabulous card, I know a few people that this would be perfect for! I'm really looking forward to seeing your samples for the new collection, that's when I decide what I absolutely "need".
Pam, sorry that you didn't get better news at your appointment, but with all you're dealing with at work it's hardly surprising that your blood pressure is up. Hope things are better for you at your next appointment. Hugs to all. Sue xxx

Morning Sue. These little fella's bought back some memories from my childhood during the launch and here they are again, my memories are in our loft waiting to be shared with Lottie, as they were when our daughter was a little girl - 3 generations of Chad Valley Pick Up Monkey game, so today's sample is not only fun but full of memories too. It's on my list so hopefully my own cheeky monkey will give me a December surprise. Wonder if your tree will be the right size to hang them from with the help of a craft knife ? Already made my list of the new collection, I'm not a steam punk kind of crafter but the accessories are way up top of my needs ๐Ÿ˜Š
Hope to get some cards made in between Phills shows, if your down or feeling sorry for yourself you certainly won't be after an hour with Phill, or 'laughing man' as he's known as my my keeper lol.
So my love and hugs are ready to send, and I hope you too have a happy day Sue xxx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, yes a very cheeky card today, love it especially the cute monkey and the clouds with the stitching around them. I have been inundated with emails about your new launch offering various discounts to pre-order etc. etc. but I will wait and just put them on my wish list.

Pam I reiterate all you have said above, and I am not surprised that your blood pressure was up, you have had so much stress lately and the forthcoming op doesn't help either, and yes I know what you mean about receptionists some are like a dog with a bone were as others cannot be kinder, I hope when you go back next week that things have settled down enough for the op to go ahead.

I went to see the consultant yesterday for a review of my knee replacement. had to wait nearly 2 hours because he was running late, was in there less then 5 minutes, but got signed off as all is well. He is such a lovely man with a genuine concern for all his patients. I never mentioned about the other knee I think we will leave that for another time (coward aren't I)

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Dear Sue and Cheeky Crew,

What a cool idea, having the monkey swinging around in the clouds! It really does look fun! And I never would have thought of using both Go Wild and Cheeky Monkey. Thanks again, and once more for saying it's worn lipstick that makes the little belly and cheeks and ears pink.

Carmen, thank you for your vacation insight. I think I would have been around the pool, avoiding the sand fleas. Who knew doctors would be underpaid!

Well Pam, I'm thinking that with conditions as they are at your doctor's office, no wonder your blood pressure is up!

Stephanie K, what would a husband want with a potato masher?

Myra, I'd rather be a fried than a fiend.

Maureen Killen, you crack me up! Yes, resistance is futile.

Enjoy the choices, everybody.

Hi Sue
A lovely cheeky monkey card , he is so cute and just right for any age.

Pam Its no wonder your blood pressure is up with all you have had to put up with , bet it went up even more when talking to the receptionist , i think most are all the same everywhere except for a few who cant do enough for the patient. Just lets hope you will get sorted soon .

Yorkie Girl My Sil Mary had one chemo and was looking and feeling good with no side effects whatsoever, then last week she was called to the Hospital , it appears they have now found cells on her liver too so she had to go for more treatment on Monday , she also picked a wig at the same time . I am going again to visit her today as i am quite worried about her, she lives on her own and i think your mind can run away with you especially at night time .

Myra , me seeing straight hecky thump , i have you know i can now cut a straight line , as for my hearing well , i can hear far too much with these aids so you just be careful what you are saying about me and the gang . lol .

littlelamb, big hugs
Crewe Trish huggles to you and Rosemarie .

Hello Sue,
This monkey die and sentiment always put a smile on my lips. It's great and as I have a few cheeky monkeys in the family it's got to be ordered!!!
Pam, oh they are a special breed. I don't care what anyone says - Dr's receptionist go to a special charm school where the charm is extracted! George has had problems with ours this week. Sorry to read that your BP was high and you are having problems as well - as for going on Halloween for bloods, well I shudder to think who will do it but run like h*ll if he's wearing a black cloak and has long incisors!!
June, I think if I was you I'd have kept schtum about the other knee as well. I have a big yellow streak running down my back!!
Carmen, you've heard the saying "Mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun" Of course the Brits were around the pool ha ha.
Stephanie K, does your husband know how to use a potato masher?
Donita, you are a good egg, shame I crack you up ha ha.
Elaine, what on earth made you think that our Fried Myra can see straight!!! Sorry to read about Mary.
Ann, a Brazilian Buffet sounds very nice, would you like an extra person at the table?
Doreen, I'm sure you were a lovely receptionist, shame you are not at our GP's surgery.
Laine and P.P. hope all is o.k.
love to all

Hello Sue,
Such a cheerful card, it would make anyone smile. Poor little fellow though, it must have been the stormy sky which made him fall upside down! I can think of a few cheeky monkeys this would suit down to the ground.

Pam sorry you had a bad experience at the doctors, hope things improve for your next visit. I just don't understand the problems with British surgeries nowadays, here in Germany you just call in and wait to be seen, can pick up a prescription or have bloods done straight away. It works here, so,why not at home. Halloween! Not a good day for letting someone take blood!
Elaine, you are a good egg visiting Mary, hope she goes on alright.
June, very wise to keep stumm about your other knee, once they get hold of you they want to do all sorts of things.
P. Austen, hope you enjoyed your wine tasting, hic! Next time send Myra an invite, it sounds right up here street!
Ann you had me really worried when you mentioned going for a Brazilian until I realised it was a restaurant not a beauty salon!
Doreen, we have a lovely receptionist and I'm sure you were too.
Maureen! Is that was it was on your back, I thought it was some new fashion phase you were going through, it did match nicely with your shoes though.
Carmen I'll suggest Canada to my GP next time I go, but I'll,still wear scruffy shoes just in case.
I'm just having a little nervous breakdown, hubby has spent the last hour ordering a new computer online, and all the " stuff" that goes with it. If I have to tell him one more time which buttons to click and how to go to check out I might have to be committed to an asylum. Heaven help me when it all arrives, he's not very technically minded, he ordered a blue tooth keyboard and then asked " what's blue tooth?" Doh!
Love and hugs for all

Oh, that cutie monkey of Sue's, swinging from a vine like Tarzan. I do really love the clouds and so glad that Donita's inking questions were answered. Cute card....I think it would make a really sweet baby card or one for a nut of a friend.
Donita, I suspected my hubby in the disappearance of the potato masher mystery because he can decide to use non-tool objects in very creative ways that we women would not dream of....the other reason I think he did something with it...he bought me a new one. That is not like him.
Maureen, he really does know how to use one and makes great mashed potatoes. Those and oatmeal are his best dishes.
Pam, you are having all sorts of woe. I hope things shape up quickly. My doctor's office always sends me a survey of the staff after visits and that receptionist would get an X rating. I hope a more pleasant person is there for your return visit.
I have to watch the other Phill videos on rewind. He is quite funny and I loved all of Sue's beautiful dies (I had to order them...just could not resist).
As its 9:30pm here, everyone have a good morning (or sleep),
