Hello crafters! A bright, eye catching, not so traditional blue for today's Christmas card giveaway. I started by creating a
Pixie Powder background using
Aqua Lagoon and Midnight Blue with a touch of White Pearl. I allowed it to dry well then cut the
Lace Snowflake Frame out of the centre of it. I glued a piece of clear acetate to the back of the aperture, then cut the
Lace Snowflake die again in black. I glued the black one back into the aperture opening. I added mounting foam to the back of the background to raise it and added it over a piece of white card. I cut four of the
Snowflake Edger in white leaving a thin border, then glued them to the edges of the background and mitred the corners. I stamped my sentiment in black, then cut the centre of the original pixie powdered snowflake frame to create a hexagon frame for the sentiment. I added mounting foam to raise it then attached it over the sentiment and trimmed away the excess card. I added it with foam to the centre of the card. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 8 1/4" x 8 1/4" in size. Leave a comment if you would like a chance to win this card in the drawing.
