Just Because

Hi bloggers!  I selected a piece of Heather card to use for the background.  I stamped the bone stamp from the Pet Pals Stamp set in black all over the background.  I covered it with a piece of sticky adhesive sheet, then peeled the backing paper off and coated it with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz.  I cut the Stained Glass Squares in white and backed it with Heather card.  I cut Pet Pal Max out of tan card then coloured his fur black on top and brown on his nose.  I cut a neckerchief out of heather card and glued it into place.  I added a small purple flower to his tail and a letter with a purple heart in his mouth.  I added purple hearts all around him.  I cut the Just Because sentiment out of both heather and black card.  I shadowed the sentiment with the black die cut then added it to a white shadow backing piece and attached it below the focal element with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white, heather and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  8 1/4" in size.

All for now, Sue x

May Your Days Be Merry & Bright

Good Sunday morning all!  I started by stamping the snowflake from the Santa stamp set all over a piece of white card.  I used a clear perfect medium pad to stamp it with and sprinkled white embossing powder over the stamped images and heated them.  Next I cut the Looped Rectangles in black.  I cut a matching frame using the Double Stitched Rectangles in white.  I added mounting foam to the back of the frame, then added it to another piece of white card.  I taped the frame to the Looped Rectangles and added it to the card with mounting foam.  I cut the cottage from the Winter Wonderland die set in tan and backed it with a piece of custard card.  I added a tan colored roof and filled in the detail with a fine tipped felt pen.  I added several trees behind the building and next to it.  I cut the deer and baby out of brown card and glued them in front of the trees.  I added Iced Snow to the top of the trees and building for a frosty look.  I cut the May Your Days be Merry & Bright sentiment in black and glued it to a white shadow backing piece.  I added it below the focal element with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 3/4"  x  8 3/4"  in size.

Tis The Season

Hello bloggers!  I started this card by cutting the Pierced Lattice background in both silver sparkle and black card.  I offset the two colours then added a black backing piece.  I cut the Christmas Angel 2024 out of both milk card and silver sparkle card.  I used the milk die cut as the base and I coloured the angel's hair and skin with pencils.  I nipped away the dress from the silver die cut, backed it in white and glued it to the milk die cut.  I cut the wings out of white card coated with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz and added them to the angel.  I cut the banner out of black card and glued the "Tis The season sentiment to it from the Festive Wordies sheets.  I added the angel to the middle of the card with mounting foam.  I cut the poinsettia from the Stylish Poinsettia die set out of Silver Sparkle card and added it to the corner with two white leaves as accents.  The entire card was added to a larger piece of white card that I glittered the edges with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  7"  in size.

Haunted Wishes

Hello crafters! I started today's card by cutting a piece of white card.  I used Fossilized Amber Distress ink in the middle of the card, then added Spiced Marmalade, then Festive Berries to create the background.  I cut the Haunted Tree in black and glued it to the left side of the card.  I cut the two gates in black and glued them to the bottom corners.  I added several headstones cut in black too.  I cut the Zombie Party out of milk card and coloured them with markers and added them to the middle of the card with mounting foam.  I cut the zombie sign out of milk card and traced the words with a fine tipped black felt pen and coloured the two hands black and glued it between the gates.  I added a bright yellow moon in the upper corner and glued the shadowed haunted Wishes to it.  I added several bats cut from black gloss card as accents.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  7 3/4"  in size.

Stained Glass Squares

Hello bloggers!  Welcome back to the last post of this blog launch.  Introducing the Stained Glass Squares.  Last but not least, this set has nine dies in it so there is a size for practically any occasion.  Shown here in this sample are two of the medium sized dies in the set, but they make such a great platform for any of your focal elements.  For the last time this release, I will ask you to leave a comment on this post for the maximum entries allowed in the drawing (one per post, remember).  I will do the drawing and announce the winner on the 23rd of Sept so please don't forget to check back then to see if your name was the lucky one drawn out!  I hope you have enjoyed this launch!  All for now,  Sue x

Have A Paw-some day

Hello crafters!  This post is dedicated to the second of the two sentiments in this release. Here is the Have A Paw-some Day sentiment.  This set also has two dies in it, the sentiment and the shadow backing die.  What is nice about these sorts of dies is that the words are individually hooked together but not to each other so you can easily change the layout for this sentiment.  If you need a single line, you can do that with this one.  It takes a bit of the work out of your card making that way.  If this one would make a great addition to your die collection, then you just need to add your comment to this post for a chance to win the collection.  The final post will be along here at 6pm today.  All for now, Sue x

Paws & Kisses

Hello there my crafty friends!  The next die on offer is the first of two sentiments in this release.  Introducing the Paws & Kisses sentiment.  I just love this one, it is so cute to use with all the Pet Pals.  It has been designed in two pieces, the sentiment and a separate shadow backing die that can be used with the sentiment as I have done in this sample or without.   If this would make a nice addition to your crafty stash, then why not leave a comment on this post.  The next die will be on the blog here at 3pm today.  All for now, Sue x

Bella

Hello crafters!  The next set that I am showcasing is the Pet Pal Bella.  Bella is the lone cat in this second release of Pet Pals, but she is a cutie!  There are seven dies in the set, including a letter, a kitty food bowl, a fish skeleton, a couple of flowers and some hearts.  You can easily decorate Bella for just about any occasion with everything in the set.  Just a reminder to pop a comment on this post to be entered into the drawing to win the entire collection.  We still have several more posts to come and the next one will be at noon today.  All for now, Sue x
