Fabulous Day

Hi bloggers!  I love this card and the video isn't too long at all (well not at least compared to most of mine!) so hopefully you will be able to take a few minutes to view it.
Julia has shows on Create and Craft tv today too at 10 am and 3pm with new masks and sparkle texture paste as well as Couture Creations dies and Justrite stamps so they are certain to be really good shows!

Buy from Joanna Sheen

Finished dimensions are 7" x 8 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

morning Sue
Coffee in your beautiful craft room was great this morning - just the thing to start the day; coffee and Sue Wilson who could want for more!!
Today's gift is so beautiful and easy to achieve and so because I have just finished a gift for one of my friends using the California die you used this morning for the main focal element today's gift is going into my 'favourite' box.
The pale lavender is so calming and relaxing.
It's a sorting out day today. Trying to find all the things I need to take with me for the Summer. Is this achievable? I don't think so!! Hubbies face always tells a picture when I say this is going with us.
When we bought the little house fifteen years ago we said that all we would have to do is take our passports, euros and keys and off we would go. Up to now we have never managed to do just that. The car is always full.
Well crafting products need replacing as they are ridiculously expensive over the Channel and I cannot go without my crafting can I.
I still haven't managed to get these gorgeous flowers. They seem to be all sold out wherever I look.
Lynda, Myra P, Yorkielass - she is also a member of the Hedgehog Preservation Society and so takes in poorly little/big Hedgepigs too. She has always loved animals and just cannot see any in pain or badly treated so she and her husband are well known in their part of Derbyshire for taking in the damaged and hurt.
Take care everyone and see you tomorrow.

Hello Sue,
Another beautiful card from the master (or should that be mistress). I'll be borrowing a few of your ideas!!
Myra P and Pam, all the pirates had a great day and PAM if I'd realised you were so close I'd have brought 29 children ages 6 & 7, with another four adults over to see you! You're right, it's a great place and we spent a lovely day there but talk about a Poop deck, I was pooped when I got home!
Ita, Norah, Nancy and all the ladies who are not well, I'm thinking of you.
I love to read about all your escapades and doings.
Clare, I always thought the 19th was the clubhouse. Hope your toe is on the mend.
Tres, yes I enjoy the shaving foam trick and the granddaughters love it. Bought the cheapest I could get from the £ shop. Have you done the faux leather, it's effective for men's cards.
Oh the sun has just come out, yay.
Take care everyone and love to all.
Sue I know you want to stay with your mum and that she enjoys having you there BUT I really think it's about time you came back!! xx

Tomorrow is my birthday, same as yours Norah I think and I am meeting my Canadian friends in Northallerton, so may be late popping by tomorrow, we will have a day of laughter and none stop chat, it will be good to see them.

Good morning Sue and fellow Wilsonettes,
I love today's card Sue with the lavender and white as it looks so soft, light and airy feel about it. I must get out my little faux quilled flowers and have a play as your card is so lovely this morning.
Well good morning everyone, it is a beautiful day across here at the ochil hills with all the beauty just waiting to be explored, oh and how i wish i could do it. My hills are stunning and look so inviting, saying come on move your lazy butt and come and see me up close. I had to take my beloved son to school for a meeting yesterday as he had got knickers in a right old twist on Friday when there. After getting a few rules lodged again and the reasons why they have to be obeyed i was told that they need him back because they have a new project for him to work on, programing and building this computer and he is also to be the spokes person for how it operates. This is the wee boy that in primary 7 they started getting him at the high school from Easter to transition into the secondary and got onto a principals computer that they left on and broke down 6 firewalls that are supposed to keep the children out of. Well the fella trying to explain to security that it was a P7 that had done it, they fell about laughing as this guy being of a more mature age group like myself, can only fill in the database, not actually work the computer as they know. I hate working on that tablet for anything other than going on the internet as it just doesn't cooperate at all with what i want or try to do. I tried to leave a message for Steph and her hubby on their 35th wedding anniversary. Personally i think getting to that amount off time without flattening him deserves a medal. What lovely hubbies you all seem to have that buy who things that you actually want like machines and dies and little treats like that, mines thinks that there is enough junk in the house.
Cameeli, hope you and your partner are a bit better today now that you have your friends funeral past. It doesn't mean you will forget, but i hope it will mean that you can remember the lovely times when the sorrow has truly left, so you are still in my thoughts. I hope Tina you are getting stronger by the day as well and starting to remember the little things, sillies really that only our dad's could do. I have to admit to looking back on things like that to get me through the rough days.
Good luck Nancy on your eye op today.
Janet(Ecco)- i like to see that you have your priorities in the right order - craft work stuff and then the passports, and other nicknacks. Have a great time at your holiday home, flower. My mum used to take in poor wee things that were hurt or needed that wee bit of help, hedgehogs being her favourite. She used to feed them kitekat and give them water(allergic to milk and it could kill them). She had umpteem little nests waiting on new arrivals, the kids from the village used to be at the door with rescues for her. My poor dad would just look up with his eyes and sigh as if to say not more. She used to be a right one for getting plants, that it got to the point my poor dad thought he lived in the jungles of the Amazon, she had that many. He even started watering one that she had up in the bathroom. We didn't have the heart to tell him that one was artificial. Mum couldn't understand where the water was coming from at that end until dad told her what he had being doing, where upon we gave the normal response...laughed.
Sorry you lost your golf match Clare. Glory is waiting until you're fit enough to jump.
Anne -left click and hilight your comment, then right click and copy so that if it hasn't taken you can just paste it back in. Hope this helps you and lots of others with the same problem.
Love and crafty hugs to everyone,
Norah (Glenochil)

Good morning Sue Lovely blog friends,
Well when I started writing this comment there were 48 before me, currently there are 71, not the smoothest start to a Tuesday morning but here we go!
Gorgeous card today Sue, I love the colour and die combination, so pretty and of course your beautiful flowers and that fantastic finishing touch!
You must be at the pack ingot I come home stage Sue, if you are anything like me, the goodbyes are the hardest part, I always want to make room in my bags to pack mum up and bring her with me!
I am so looking forward to your shows at the weekend and Julia's today of course!
Cameeli, you and your lovely partner were in my thoughts yesterday as you waved your friend off, I hope the day went as you planned, huge hugs xxxx
Ecco (Janet) wow you sound like Dr Doolittle of Sheffield, all those wild animals you have saved and nurtured, how kind you are! You and your packing sounds like me and ours! Where is your lovely holiday home? If it's ins Central france I could drop off any supplies you forgot en route to Spain in August,, in return for a lovely cuppa maybe! Who takes care of your animals?,
Norah, sounds like you need a few days with your feet up after the wool cupboard saga, maybe relax and shop for things to fill the space you just made, or have you made that space to fill with all the gorgeous things that Sue will be bringing us on the weekend?
Myra, you make me smile, I can just picture you trying to work out how Sue had put the card together, it's a good way to learn though! X
Lynne, sounds like Tilly and Cully are keeping you busy, I am guessing you don't like worms? We now have a puppy (Diego ) my daughters b'day present from her boyfriend, wow it is so much harder work than my beautiful kitties! Firstly it will eat Anything and I mean anything, from the litter tray, to guinea pig currants, you name it, I watched him for 2 hours on Sunday and I was exhausted, I also then had two very grumpy kittens, (they are not bonding too well) any tips?
Vanessa, sounds like you had a lovely memory making day, 4 generations together in one place is just wonderful x
Mrs B, thanks for your thoughts while I have been bed bound! So frustrating! I will be listening for your name this morning, during Julia's show, I haven't managed to get a Julia card yet! I hope you are well x
Yorkielass, sounds like you have a fun packed day, happy birthday for tomorrow xxx
Hugs to you all, inc. Lynda, tres, Pam, Steph, xxxxxxxx

Hi Sue ( 5am ) in your beloved Florida so I guess you are still sleeping (wish I were Im sooo tired) roll on bedtime !
Morning lovely ladies (where's Nick) ?
Was thinking of you yesterday Cam, and under the circumstances, hope the day wasn't too hard on you and other friends - sorry if what I just said wasn't really stupid xx
Gail, hope your brother managed to start treatment. Clare, at least you tried, put it down to 'tommy toe' !

Thank you Sue for a beautiful card and tutorial. My list worked - well kind of LOL. Id seperated my would likes and my haves. Bless him, he hadn't read it properly, but I was so happy to receive the Embroidered Striplet and will decide what to swap my Italian decorative frames for when I can get to my little craft shop - so yes, leaving my list around 'accidentally on purpose' worked, he's not daft, after all we've known each other 37 years, and he knows how much I want to collect your dies Sue, so he just knows what makes me happy. Thank you to those that sent best wishes to us yesterday : )
Whilst stroking my new die plus my 'oops' die yesterday, I was going through how your dies mix n match etc. (almost could be your Sales lady Sue) LOL I was explaining that they can be cut down, used in so many different ways etc etc and blow me down you have done exactly that today. It just goes to show how versatile the collection is, and what wonderful value for money your collection is, so thank you Sue.
Better try to shake myself up to get going on the last 2 cards ordered ready for Sunday ! As good as the 'strong stuff' is to control discomfort, boy does it make you feel sleepy ! Hohum, onward we go : )

Sending love n hugs to my usual girlies and extra love n hugs to those that just fancy a hug : )
Love you.

Wow, what a stunning card today! I really love the pale lilac and white it is so soft and delicate. Your dies are so versatile - that's why we all love them so much - also there is always a spot to easily place the glue. I love the little quilled centres - I worked those out on my test this morning! Lol. Will definitely try this one.
Well , Jenny Wren has decided that hanging basket is definitely home! I've taken a photo of the tiny nest - what a master builder! The leaves she was bringing were bigger than her. My husband has a blackbird he talks to ! Yes I know - but this lovely little bird comes down and is fed pink suet pellets!
Janet - I love hedgehogs and your daughter and family sound amazing. Happy packing!
ClareW - glad the golf went well. Just think what might have happened had you had ten perfect toes!
Pat- all the very best with the floral displays in Dublin.
Jess - enjoy your nights out! Sounds fun!
Maureen - glad you enjoyed your day out - sure you must have been jiggered!
June - hope you have a really great day tomorrow on your Birthday .
Steph - glad you had a good day and your husband found the list! At least this way you get to choose your swap!
Norah - a little bird has mentioned its your Birthday tomorrow - have a lovely day! Rory's a clever boy. Sending him a hug too.x
Sandra - sending love , hope you're feeling lots better.
Love to everyone else on this ever expanding blog!

Hello Sue,
Beautiful card, love the colour and the flowers, thank you for reminding us to look at our dies in a different ways, I'd never thought of a rectangle background being a strip, you are so clever - I wish I had your brain!
Take care love Brenda xxx

Steph - happy anniversary for yesterday, how clever of you hubby to accidentally see your WishList - well done, you have trained him well, Its our anniversary today and if you switch your numbers around YES 53 (where has the time gone) I was a very young bride.

Clare - so pleased you managed to play golf and hopefully your toes is healing nicely.

June (Yorkielass ) sounds like you are going to have a really good day - enjoy!

Janet (Ecco) I had to smile when you described your car when you go away. When we go to look after our grandchildren during school holidays I have to take making things stuff (that's what the children call it!) because the children like crafting, my husband just groans when he sees what I'm taking, he always says I don't know how we will get that in and yet he's managed to get in his tools just in case he might have to do the job!

Pam, Cameeli, Myra, Norah and Rory (special hug for the wee boy) So many more I could name sending you love, crafty hugs and prayers take care everyone. LOL

Afternoon Sue, a beautiful card for us all today and another one of your cut down die cards, I was asked to makes card for a friends little great niece, I asked is she had any favourite things only to be told "pepper pig" good job I could look on the internet,I have got it finished and used your Italian collection dies and faux bows to make the card, will show it to the lady tomorrow to see if she likes it!
Well not sure where my comment went yesterday, think I forgot to press post! Oops. Very busy day yesterday, two of my four year old ponies were ridden for the first time, very emotional as when they arrived they were totally wild off the moors in Dartmoor, and to see how they gave progressed and grown is heartwarming.
The stallion had his dressing done again yesterday and it's looking fantastic, I'm hoping the bandaging time is going to be shorter than predicted.
Cameeli I hope all went well yesterday, and Gail hope your brother was well enough too.
Norah, Rory is a very amazing boy, do hope the toad is behaving today and realises how important your wool is.
Claire, well done in getting round, I'm sure you will win next time with a fit foot!
Lynne, poor little worm, Ollie eats everything going, don't think I would have got the worm back off him!
Steph, so pleased you managed to get one die you NEEDED for your wedding anniversary and hope you are feeling a little better.
Karen, Alison, Tandy, Tres, P in Wales, Lynda and all my other lovely Wilsonettes have a lovely day and I will press the post button todayxxx

Hi Sue
On seeing the card the first thing that jumped out at me were the borders. After watching the video I am so pleased that I have all the dies needed to copy your design. I need to train the brain beyond what I can see, may be more challenging than I think. Looking forward to seeing Julia's shows today (I have them on record). Best wishes to all the ever growing Wilsonette family and crafty hugs to anyone in need

Such a pretty card, Sue, clever use of the background die to make the strips. My late Mum would have loved this one - and strangely dreamt about you again, Sue - you insisted I take you on the bus to see my Mum (when did I ever go on one, being a rural busless soul??!) and inevitably we were on the wrong one in the wrong city and I didn't know where we were or what to do.
Crazy, or what! At least you couldn't drive off in the tiny red car again, like last dream.

'P' in Wales

Tandy - another hurdle overcome - nice to see you back.
nancyd - hope op went well.

Hi Sue and Lovely blog friends

Your card today is so pretty,I love the choice of colour, it's really clean and fresh, and the idea of using the background die like that is fab.

I/We, would like to say how lovely you have been keeping us in your thoughts for several months now, and I have come to know some really special people by email and phone and you have helped me no end, and you just let me cry.

We knew dad did'nt have much time left, but when he passed it was still a shock, and Sunday was a sad day just knowing he's was'nt here anymore. Very strange day of emotions. I have looked in from time to time and the cards have been amazing, but my goodness there is some heartache too, Cameeli, you have been in my thoughts, and Gail also a horrid time for you too, and Pam I know it must still hurt for you too, but I have been thinking of you all.

Just to lift my message a little I wanted to share with you the arrival of Bubble & Squeak, 2 little kittens we adopted from the Blue Cross. I went to collect them today, they are even more adorable than the last time I saw them on Friday. I have'nt done any house work and I don't intend to, and if I want to play I'm not doing any tomorrow either. Later today I will take some more photo's and put them on my blog. there are a couple on there now but they were rushed ones taken at Blue cross, they are so much cuter in real life though.

Sorry to take up so much space Sue, but all credit to you, you have some fantastic followers, which I could'nt have been without lately. So Thank you.

Love to all,
Kind regards :-)

Tina XX

Hi Sue, love the colour and style of today's card. Now that I have the faux quilled blooms to match the leaves, recipients of my cards will wonder if I have any other dies, I love them so much. Quilling the centre for the flowers is certainly different and effective.
