Pitter Patter

Hi bloggers!  I have a fun baby card for you today!  I started by cutting a JustRite die called Four In A Square die in white as I wanted four equal squares for my animals.  I used the Double Pierced Noble Squares and cut a thin frame in blush card to go around it.  Next I cut the animals from the Stuffed Animal die set in wisteria, custard, and peach card.  I attached each of the animals so they were coming in from different angles.  In the last remaining section, I cut the Pitter Patter sentiment from the Stuffed Animal set and glued it in place.  I did my Paved Pearl technique around the entire card using the Cosmic Shimmer white PVA glue dots and allowed it to dry overnight.  I matted it with a thin blush mat and a final white mat to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x  6 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue and crafters all,
Wow this is so pretty, got a 1st birthday card to do for my great niece, did a version with the animals and flowers for her christening.
Love these dies!!!!!
Pam - yes I shall buy one of Sues new collections, she was a beautiful lady came to the Uk from Ireland - she was a nurse in a TB hospital and her parents told her to leave her job as they did not want the infection being brought home, so she left home and came here.
Hope you are feeling better after your chest infection Pam. Peter is feeling tired as b12 due this week.
June Smith - hope you are moving well on your new knee.
Love and crafty hugs to all

Morning, Sue,
What a cute card and what a labour of love placing all those dots around the background :). It almost makes me wish I knew someone expecting a baby so that I could make something as cute as this :).

Goodness, I got up early this morning dispite not having too my sleep because I'm expecting delivery of my new mattress. I hate it when they only give a time between somewhere in the morning and around 5 in the afternoon. I always make sure I'm up in time for the earliest estimate, just in case, but who wants to bet that now I've been up for hours have moved the furniture around in the lounge room, taken down the curtains and rehung the others and am comletely worn out that they won't arrive until around 4:55 this afternoon lol. I'll not be able to settle to do much of anything incase I miss them...so the dog will have to bark in the back garden until after it arrives instead of going for a walk round the field!

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, a stunning card today, love it, your so clever with your creations.

Sharon I think I am like you having a little set back - the pain in my leg was so bad yesterday evening that I took 2 morphine pills, went to bed and 6:30 and woke at 8:00, feeling a bit better, then went back to bed at 10:30, only got up once in the night but I did manage to get some sleep - wow that certainly hurt. How are you doing today.

I am on 1 crutch now but am trying to use my walking stick today to see if that is easier, it seems to be so far. I will get there.

Elaine - so pleased to hear that Andrew is in high spirits, that is great to know.

Tina T - poor Peter 4 weeks of a swollen leg, he must be tired, I hope the B12 test due this week goes well. What a lovely thing to receive that bequest from such a dear lady. Good on her for coming here and continuing with her nursing, she sounds like she was one special lady.

Laine192, Lynda's crafts and everyone else who has asked after me, thank you so much, it means a lot.

Tracy, how was the 6:30 work start - hope you didn't nod off half way through the morning.

Tressa, sending hugs to your Mum xx

Linda Graham (Bordon) hope you get better soon.

Hi Sue, anything you make with your Stuffed Animals is a hit with me, I adore them. I started my baby card using the animals but then had to wait a day as I just had to order the Little Treasures to go with them. Very pleased with the finished card and I have also used the elephant on a card for an adult who loves them and she loved the card so you see, not just for babies & children :-)

Tracy - hope the early start wasn't too much for you but I'm sure you will be pleased to be getting back into the routine.

Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

What a great start to the week, a cutesy card using your stuffed animals...quite appropriate given Johns show this evening featuring the New Arrivals collection.
Im a big fan of the paved pearl technique, it looks gorgeous as the backdrop to the stitched frame with the adorable animals peeking through each window. I came so close to buying this collection at Ally Pally but decided to concentrate on Christmas dies instead.....i would dearly love to buy them tonight on the ODS but i have to prioritise presents for family with Christmas being less than six weeks away:-( My mum has promised that i can start buying all the new dies after the festivities so it will definitely be a happy new year:-)
Spent the day doing housework, still waiting for my 3D foam to arrive....itching to complete two cards i have nearly finished, just have to do the shaker element so desperately need foam for it!
Tracy, well done you, nearly surpassed the wonderful Pam this morning, better luck tomorrow:-) Hope you weren't too tired after your shift, i'm sure you'll cope admirably.
June and Sharon, hope the dodgy knees aren't giving you any gip, i guess getting back to fitness will be a marathon not a race. Sending hugsxxx
Maria, what beautiful sentiments yesterday, you are a real gem, hugs to you my dearxxx
Special hugs to elaine&andrew, tina&peter, P, Frances, Myra, Maureen, Pat, Pam,Lorraine,Lynda,Alison and Wheely, plus anyone i may have forgotten.....oh, and Yvonne!:-)
Off to watch John and salivate over what i cant have....yet!
