Border and Corner Frame Card

Hello there my crafty friends!  Here's a video card showing how to use the border and corner die sets.  They make beautiful frames and you can adjust the size of them to suit your needs.

The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  7 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Gorgeous card, absolutely stunning.
June good news about the knee, clean and free now. Good luck with physio today, hope it is not too arduous.
Elaine, poor Andrew, it's awful that he is back in pain and with bloating again. I think it is a good idea to go to hospital to get it checked out.
Tina, Peter certainly has a good appetite, mind you I could be tempted by roast beef dinner, scones jam and cream when made by someone else, always tastes better that way.
Tracey, you sound much happier about work now, just take it easy to begin with, you will do it.
Lorraine, good to hear you are feeling better and enjoyed your day at NEC.
Sharon, hope you are feeling a bit better and that the leg has settled.
Laine, hope the migraine has gone now.
Wendy, happy to hear you have got a job even if temporary, it is a great start.
Hugs to all buddies on blog, poorly missing and well.

Morning Sue.
Very Art Deco, this has to be my favourite shade of blue if it's the aqua. I'm looking forward to watching your tutorial once Andy has gone out into the freezing ice cold morning to face the owls in the country park with the dog poor love. I do loath these cold months ahead. Looking at the photo I don't own this die set but getting inspiration from your tutorials are always a treat.
Sending hugs as usual and hope you have a good day xx

Wonderful tutorial Sue. I'm mesmerized at how quickly you work although it's a duplicate of a 'trial' card if you see what I mean, I love to see you putting your samples together. I wonder how many videos you take in one session ! I have to thank CE for the mounting cushion its just so brilliant and wonderfully clean to work with. I use sooo much mounting foam that I still have to use the messy, gunky, cheap stuff for the majority of the card but it's great to use CE foam for the smaller areas that you want to raise up as it's so easy to cut to your needs, just wish there where more than two sheets in a pack ! Anyway Sue, the Madeline die will also be joining my wish list as after watching the tutorial I feel it would be another invaluable frame/tag I will use over and over. Thanks for the inspiration and beautiful sample this morning xxx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, sorry I am late today, been into town to have my hair cut and get a few bits of shopping, brrrr it is cold out. Now what a lovely card today, will watch the video later.

Off to Physio later today. The infection has all cleared up so that is a great thing to report, I have now been signed off by the SEPT team but if I have any issues I can always contact them again, they really were a super duper bunch of people.

Tina T hope all goes well with Peter today, fingers crossed.

Wendy, hope new job goes well x

Sharon I know what it like with knee pain, yes I had knee replaced on 13th October and oh boy the pain of it cannot be described, when did you have yours??. I have stopped taking the morphine of a morning just take it at night now, but it does help especially if the pain gets bad I take a couple of paracetamol and they work as an accelerant, I.e. they tell the morphine to just give me a little bit extra, I can almost feel it working straight away, I wish you a speedy recovery and hope the pain can be relieved soon x

Elaine, poor Andrew, I agree with Pam that it is a good idea to go to hospital to get it checked out, hugs xx

Tracey, you're sounding much happier about work now, excellent news.

Lorraine, good to hear you are feeling better and enjoyed your day at NEC.

Laine, hope the migraine has gone now.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Hi Sue

Such a gorgeous card. Varying the height of the corners and borders is such a nice effect. It's on the "must try that" list. Your die launch was beautiful and thank you for bringing out the leaf dies... My brothers wedding is an autumn wedding and the bride wants leaves in autumnal tones as part of the decorations. She's going to be over the moon when she sees them! I'll be gilding polishing sheets of paper and cutting leaves I think and those swirly leaf shapes- OMG!!!! They will be such useful dies for that and so many other things so I'm very happy indeed! The striplets will probably hop into the shopping basket at the same time lol. Big hugs, hope you're well. Big hugs, T x

I've not been able to read back I'm afraid. But I hope things are good.

Tracy, hope work's going well, big hugs x
Tina & Peter, big hugs x
Tina &. Mick, big hugs x
Elaine & Andrew, big hugs x
June, hope physio goes ok and hope the knee is well generally, big hugs x
Wendy, congratulations on your new job, big hugs x
Pam, Lynda, P, Maria, Theresa W, Marg, Myra, Lynda, Lorraine F, Laine, Princess Pixie, Pat L & Sarah, Norah and any one else I forgot to mention big hugs to you all and wags & woofs from Billy xxx

Billy is doing great. In his mind he's all better so trying to keep him well rested and not jumping up, bouncing on furniture etc is a hard job. Doggy brain games are the order of the day but also basic assistance. He started Friday, automatically picked up my phone when I dropped it and that was my clue that he's feeling good. I've let him pick stuff up, push close cupboards and doors and operate the washing machine switch. He's gone back to guarding me too when I'm about to black out. Vets tomorrow and then an x-ray in 2 weeks to check he hasn't bounced anything apart. As for Me and I its all still the same. He's had interviews but employers question why he wants a job that the interviewers deem "beneath" him. He has good reasons but even after giving them.... No luck :( we're going to speak to sister in law as she works in a college organising work placements etc. See if she'll look over the CV and covering letter as she'd have done all that much more recently than either of us! Me, no change. Head squiffy 5 to 6 days out of 7 and very tired. Finding this tiring and my eyes are saying that's enough! Have some Xmas knitting to do so a sleep then that later. Hospital Thursday after I got ",lost" in the system so I shall mention it and see if the can offer anything. Got to stay in a hotel Wednesday as it's an early one so littlest brother is Billy sitting. Hoping Billy will be so amazed at having his favourite boy back he'll forget we're not there.

I must go, I've missed you all as much as I miss being up the table crafting!!! Take care and stay wrapped up in this cold wind. I shall try visit tomorrow or even Thursday but if not soon as I can. Big hugs and best wishes to everyone. Happy crafting and I'll be back soon.
